Anybody get survey # 01981USDKPM which leads to a $30 visionslive interactive session on 11/14 or 11/15?
I just got a reply email with instructions. I have never done interactive surveys with anybody other than Invoke Solutions.
My buddy never got this email and he took the same survey. He was asked what times he could take the survey and he picked the latter two times.

Should I pass along the email listed?

I just did a health survey for 500 points. In the end it said i would be credited within 4-6 weeks. Are they still not crediting us automatically like they said?! It doesnt show up under "survey history OR points"

Has anyone had any luck finding anything out or being credited for the surveys they took since the change?

But as long as I can get surveys from SS(email/survey link) then I just been lazy about it :lol:BUT- I just got a email survey from the new site that did not give ANY point amount and it took me to the new "take survey" page and when I clicked the button AGAIN I get a blank page. UGH- I hope thet do not start sending these instead becouse the damn take a survey page does not load for many of us! I sent an email to them tonight- will see if I get a response or if they have any idea of what I am talking about.
ALSO- the point surveys are not crediting- sooner or later the old email invites from old system are going to stop.

I don't get a blank page but a message saying that I have already taken that survey. I, too, can only take those surveys that they email me. So far I have qualified for only ONE survey since they switched to points. I used to do much better than this!

Thank you very much for completing a recent survey for Ragu Old World Style Traditional pasta sauce. However, at this time we will not be conducting the in-home use portion of the test.

Maybe SS just has some problems going on now:

A)New site won't allow you to take surveys. And even if you do complete one, you can't do anymore
B)Not getting emailed surveys like you used to
C)Not getting credited/updated with survey statuses and rewards
D)Companies pulling out of Product Tests(which is what obviously happened above)

They just have some serious issues

LOL we are all fine---no problems.

I would think if it was something serious they would have included "if you have already eaten the product please call blah blah blah" in their email. Specially considering they couldnt be sure everyone would recieve that email in time.

Im thinking maybe the way they shipped it could have caused the seals to become detached. (check ur lid to see if its poped)

It is common practice with newly formulated or redesigned products/packages for a survey company to tell testers to discard the entire product or any leftover after the survey is completed. They most likely want it chucked so nobody does anything funny with their new recipe. In this case I think they probably coded the jars with the wrong numbers, sent out the wrong version of the product or the sauce company decided to 86 the testing altogether.
I wrote them yesterday and said we had already eaten it for lunch (including two small children), then I asked if we should contact poison control or seek medical attention and they never responded so I am going to assume it wasn't contaminated or anything of that nature.

I don't have more than one account with SS and I keep track of the surveys I take - very very few lately. That's why I find it strange. I never got that type of error message before the switch. Members service is a lot slower too in writing back.

When I clicked the link, the page displayed showed numerous country flags and writing in numerous languages. When I clicked the area showing the American flag and some other flags I was taken to Survey Spot but I wasn't asked to enter my personal code or anything. Anyone have this happen?

I've gotten a few where that has happened. I don't remember exactly, but I think by the American flag it says something to the effect that the survey is either no longer available or they've had enough responses or something. I just figured that they were getting those surveys from one certain place and they weren't working out- they seem to come to me in groups.

Survey Spot is trying to be slick like Greenfield now. They offer a 3 or 5 minute survey and then hit me with that "On to another subject.." which leads to some long survey. No thank you. :shake:

I just DQ, but I thought they were only going by the points system now. I didn't know they still had some $$ surveys buzzing around. I'm guessing they would still go into the new SS cash out part.

Yes, that's exactly what happened. If you read through the posts in this forum, you'll see that there are plenty of people here that are doing it. Everybody suffers, including the people taking the surveys. All it would take is a boycott of a few months and the survey companies would have no choice but to start paying again...but the stupid people on here are doing tons of free 20-25 minute srveys hoping to get a PT that isn't there. Besides, even though PTs are fun, most of the ones you get from SS don't pay for the follow-up survey, so it's really not even worth spending 15 minutes qualifying for some of them. Seriously, is a jar a pasta sauce that I can get for $.50 after sales and coupons really worth a 15 minute survey? LOL Don't get me wrong, I do the PT surveys because they are fun, but some aren't even worth it.

LittlMissApril

well the pasta sauce is usually $4-5 where I live & there is never coupons in the Sundays ad, so half the time it's just worth it to get the PT. I don't do any surveys not worth cash incentives or PT, I'll check here before I do them to see if they lead to anything, since I don't usually get the surveys until a day or two after everyone else. I'll purposely DQ myself on all others worth nothing.

Very strange. I just got a survey which I was suspicious was for BIGResearch (free 5-minute surveys from the Big Box store). I never do them. This time, however, it was paying $1, so I decided to do it. I logged into the survey and got this screen:

I clicked and two of them are BIGResearch. The other one is that religion one. It's strange that they chose only these three 5-minute surveys. Now I wonder if I'll get paid $1 for each, for just one, or for none. I'm going to do them and report back. If I don't get a $1 message after the first suevey, I'll stop. Otherwise, I'll try a second one.

That pasta sauce PT from SS took about 10 minutes. That's okay. But 20 or 30 minutes for some sauce? If you're not going to get paid for a PT(which they may or might not mention lol), let the PT be equal to the value of your time. A $3-$4 jar of pasta sauce is worth 10 minutes to me. Because I love having fun with PTs and my body benefits from it too hehehe

Just to be clear, I wasn't suggesting that the pasta sauce screener took 15 minutes...that one was about 5-7 minutes. And a jar of sauce for me only costs about $.50 because I try to stock up when they are on sale BOGO and I have coupons to add to each jar.

The point I was trying to make is that some PTs take 15 minutes for the screener and then you get a product that's worth very little. A good example is the toilet paper PT I just finished. The screener took about 12 minutes and I got 4 rolls of TP. I did it because I think it's FUN to get PTs and I wasn't in it for the money. However, the product was worth very little for 15 minutes of effort (since 15 minutes is worth AT LEAST $5 to me). Luckily, I got a nice surprise at the end of the TP test and they paid me $6 for the follow-up survey :)

5 bucks for 15 minutes is darn good in my opinion..lol! my range isnt as high as yours, i'm happy with 5 bucks for 30 minutes ..equals to 10 bucks an hour. If i would go for 20 bucks an hour i'd be sitting watching tv mostly and getting no money at all.:(

I'm with you samplekgurl and you're not any crazier than the rest of us loons. Doing surveys, product tests, etc. is mostly chance and quite an accomplishment when you actually get a paid survey or a cool product test.

Nonetheless, there is no sense to spend 20-25 mins on a survey for nothing since 99% of the time it will NOT lead to anything but a migraine. This has been discussed time and again and we must be more selective. Finally, I am grateful to all who post the good, bad and the ugly here.

same here! 20-25 min. ones i 99.9% scram out as fast as i can say ..crap! I will debate the 15 min ones, depending from who i get it from and the overall vibe from that survey..but if i get a feeling it's not a pt i leave on the spot and go usually make a cup of coffee or blow my diet by eating pretzels.

Exactly. The only company which posts surveys as being 20 minutes and still has an occasional PT is Toluna, but I can normally tell within the first 2 minutes if it's worth it or not. Plus, Toluna always pays a *little* something so I don't feel as bad if I get roped into 15 minutes and it goes nowhere.

BTW - I had a $1.00 - $3.00 Toluna just a few minutes ago which stated it was 20 minutes and I am 99% sure was a deodorant PT. I DNQ pretty early on, but I knew within about 6 questions that it was a PT.

Similar to you, I have totally stop for those with no incentive or longer than 15 minutes or definitely not a PT. I will DQ myself or just quit. SS and GF used to be my daily visited sites but recently, I stopped doing most of them. I have seen 50-minute survey for just a sweepstake entry or an invoke. Are they kidding? I would rather just watch my TV. I like to do PT as they are something that I regularly use or nice to have. But, I agree that a long screener or long follow-up does not worth my time. I'm very serious about trying the products and giving my comments. I have received some good ones but unluckily these are not from SS directly.

I used to work for my local post office years ago. It wasn't odd for the sorting machines to tear mail up every once in awhile (hence why they say never mail coins in envelopes, etc.). The sorting machines move so quickly that if an envelope is too bulky to fit in the sorting machine "conveyor belt" type area of the machine it casn get chewed up or cause a clog in the machine. However when a piece of mail is caughht in the machine the p.o. will still deliver it but they will always put in into a clear envelope that has a printed message on it apologizing that the piece of mail was destroyed in the mail (not the exact wording but you get the idea), If that check you received didn't come in ine of those types of clear sleeves/envys I would be suspicious of the actual mailman. First thing I would do is take that envy & ask to speak with your postmaster (don't settle for a clerk). Next would be to email SSpot and just simply tell them that the envelope was destroyed in the mail and to please reissue your payment request back to your account so that you can request a new check be sent out. I've never had problems doing this & their pretty quick to reissue the $ back to your account so you can request a new check.

We all know how SS checks come with the tear here instructions, well what I got appears that when it was feeding it got hung up on the machine and half clean sliced it like a razor and the other half torn. It did not come in a clear sleeve, but stamped on it twice in bold red letters it says RECEIVED IN DAMAGED CONDITION AT POST OFFICE! The other says RECEIVED W/O CONTENTS!! at my postal branch. Thanks for the info as I had never ever had it happen before. I hope SS will not demand the 1/2 check back.

I would email them if you cant find a number to call and just tell them that you need the check re-issued. Thats what did when my last name was missing from the check. They told me the check was now void to throw it away and they would re-issue it, and they did. And it actually came super quick

Everything I have ever received from the post office in said condition with said stamps were food samples. Last time it was a granola bar, it was awfully suspicious that the box was torn then taped and the granola bar managed to come out of its little compartment and go MIA but the flimsy coupon was still in there and didn't have a crinkle or tear anywhere on it.

I haven't ever read something like # pts = $$.. but they do state minimum payout is 1000 pts which equals $10. So yes, that would make 100 pts = $1.

Copied from their site:

Rewards Claim
Points Value
Balance 0 $0.00
Minimum Claim Amount 1000 $10.00

Makes sense, thanks!

Which rewards are you concerned about the old SS or the new points system SS? I'm having a bit of trouble trying to get credited for surveys I've done back in September, so I sent them an email yesterday & haven't got a response yet.

If your talking about not being able to see your new surveys you've completed in the form of points, they won't show til 4-6 weeks. I hope this mumbo jumbo made some sense. LoL

Your best bet would be to send them an email

thanks I did have not heard back! :(

Wow! This is something to take up with our friends with the postal service as well. I can't imagine the mailman delivering such. Good luck! I did, and my not so friendly postmaster swears he knows nothing!

Thanks that is what it looked like to me but ya never know!

I would email them if you cant find a number to call and just tell them that you need the check re-issued. Thats what did when my last name was missing from the check. They told me the check was now void to throw it away and they would re-issue it, and they did. And it actually came super quick
Thanks am in email holding mode!

I agree but they are the federal post office and don't like being called big fat fibbers!!! :lmao:
Thanks to all and reps to all in order.

I feel bad for people who need money so bad that they think at least its a dollar but this is why we no longer get good paying surveys
These company's are getting paid to get our opinions and some people are willing to give them away for free. So this is more money in the survey companies pocket and we get nothing
We have to stop this or we will not see the good ones that we used to get.
But it will never happen there will always be someone willing to sit and do a long survey for nothing or a dollar

Survey Spot used to send me 20+ minute surveys@ $1 all the time... I would ignore them, within 24 hours I would get another invite for the same survey offering $3 or sometimes more but this rarely happens anymore. I've had quite a few 5-10 minute surveys lately which did NOT lead to PTs. My suspicion is that the clients have learned that people will only complete surveys for free if they are 10 minutes or less, so now they're formatting them that way.

Think about it...they can post a 20-minute survey for free and nobody will complete it...OR...they can post a 20-minute survey for $3-$5 and it costs them an arm and a leg...OR...they can post TWO free surveys for 10 minutes each, gather the same info as the one 20-minute survey, and people will actually complete them, hoping for a PT.

It sucks for us, but that's the way I'd handle it if I were the client.

personally i think they are hurting themselves.the companies that are paying SS and other sites will notice the decline in the payout and then will bargain for a better deal.and also theywill begin to question the quality of the research at such a low price.

Does it show anywhere how much you have pending? Pretty much every survey site I've seen does but I can't find it on Surveyspot. I'm a little concerned because none of the recent surveys I've taken even show up in my survey history and I don't want to keep doing surveys for '4-6 weeks' to find out that I'm not receiving anything for me time.

Surveyspot shows you a history of your surveys now. I also got immediate credit for a survey I took today. The points were credited to my account as soon as I finished the survey. They migiht have just implemented this in the last day or two.

I've never gotten an invoke from them though even though I've been with them for a few years. Anyone have any ideas on why I never get them? Any ways to tell if a survey is going to lead to an invoke? Do they usually show the incentive straight out or should I be doing the sweepstakes entries only surveys in hope for an invoke?

Does it show anywhere how much you have pending? Pretty much every survey site I've seen does but I can't find it on Surveyspot. I'm a little concerned because none of the recent surveys I've taken even show up in my survey history and I don't want to keep doing surveys for '4-6 weeks' to find out that I'm not receiving anything for me time.

I like Suveyspot because they send a lot of surveys but the lack of history or information on the ones I've completed bothers me.

I am getting the invite for CNN Panel Survey! from them almost daily for last four days now. for the first three days they were offering 300 Points and today they offered 1500 points. Unfortunately, when I clicked on the link, it said I already took it when I didnt.

Anyone in same boat as me?

I get the the "you have already partecipated" ALL THE TIME, particularly with the new surveys. Yet, I am not getting as many surveys as I used to and I have qualified and completed only two surveys since the switch.

I can confirm that now points get instantly credited to your account upon completion of the survey. I just finished one for 300 points and it was showing up in my Rewards History. I am still waiting to be credited for some older studies I did for points since the site revamp though.

Some rare good news about the new site- points are now being credited immediatly after you do a survey, finally.
Have no idea about whats going to happen to all the past point surveys we did that never got credited but all surveys done today were credited immediatly after I completed them.

Anyone remember doing this survey? Notice that the reward is mentioned to be "1,50$". Not sure if this was supposed to be $1.50, $15, or the highly unlikely $150. Is the reward showing up in anyone's old SS account yet?Take your chance now!
Some time ago you complete a short survey about webspace providers. That qualifies you to take this brand new survey!
Take your chance now and be rewarded 1,50$ if you complete.

Dang, I always DNQ on the good ones. Most of the PTs by SS offer only $3 or less for the follow-up survey. In fact, I had two of them this week that offered NOTHING for the follow-up survey and, unlike in the past, they never eventually offered an incentive to get me to do the survey!

When the change first happened I believe it said that incentives would be sent to a paypal account matching your SS email login. And that if you already had a paypal account and it didnt match the email u use to login to SS you needed to add a email to it. I could be wrong but im pretty sure

With this one I am not sure because it offers money in addition to points, when separate incentives were offered in the past (for instance the SS info would state it was a $3 survey but then within the survey it would mention a PT or study/diary with an additional incentive for completion) they often came directly from whichever company the product came from. That was the case with my first J&J PT.

I was supposed to do a brownie pt earlier this month and was also supposed to be receiving the brownies overnight from General Mills. I never got the delivery and was to busy with things going on with the volunteer group rebuilding our house (still recovering from Katrina) to really look into things and see why.

I got curious about it a couple days ago because some clothes from Old Navy that I ordered my Mom still hadn't arrived so I decided to check the tracking for them and the PT brownies that I never got. When I checked the tracking number for the PT brownies on the UPS site it says the package was delivered and in the notes section where the driver can put something it says "Location: MET CUST WOM".

If that driver met some woman around my home it wasn't my Mom or me and now I'm going to have to call about that and the Old Navy clothes that appear to have been delivered but nobody knocked on the door the day UPS supposedly delivered them.....

UPS should have the name of the person who signed the receipt of the package. You can ask UPS to provide this information. Go after them and they should have a certain amount of insurance on their package.

Most of us received this Invoke on 11/21 and on 11/28 you're posting, "I'm still waiting..This is terrible. Used to love survey spot now it's taking forever to get paid on things." Since when is 7 days "forever?" I've been with SS for many years and I've done many Invokes. I'm pretty sure SS has NEVER paid me for an Invoke in 7 days. Just a few days ago I was paid $70 for two Invokes that I completed the week of October 18th. Although some survey companies are a bit quicker, you should always count on Invokes from SS taking 4 to 6 weeks to pay.
