The hand to hand combat looks kinda cool, but the shooting looked lame.

Who thought this would be a good way to do the Bourne franchise?

Why does he always have to fight? Like in the opening, if the time is limited why fight everyone even when he is outnumbered?

well if you watched the movies or read the books. jason bourne states that he doesnt like using guns. maybe thats why their a bigger fighting element to it.

I do not mind the fighting. I just pisses me off that you have to fight. Like really, why not be able to knock someone down and go by. It does not make any sense to fight when he is outnumbered. Oh but luckily the person you are not fighting kind of stands there and waits for your to be finished. And then the fighting sucks anywise. punch, punch, block. Punch, punch, block. Punch, punch, heavy punch, take down. Repeat.

And I have seen the films, jerkass, so take that I am better than you attitude elsewhere.

I thought the exact opposite. The cover system and over the shoulder 3rd person view looked decent. The hand to hand not so much. Punch, kick, block, punch yada yada build up some adrenaline, do the finishing move. :yawn: On to the next enemy that has a gun but can't shoot you while you run up and punch him.

I was expecting Bourne to be more like Splinter Cell. Use brain(recon to gather intelligence) and stealth and only fight when it's necessary. When you outnumber you run, you don't go Rambo.

2 major flaws I saw

Shoot out with a mini armor tank
Fist fight while 3 enemies are shooting at him. During fist fight you don't have fight to finish, just disable and run. Makes absolutely no sense when you have 3 guns point at you and you are still having duel fistfights.



There was another clip where he fist fights 3 people at one time...2 others waited until he finish fighting with the 1st guy. What kind of real fighting is that?

I wasn't expecting much from this game to begin with, especially Matt Damon walk out on the game. After watching the trailer it's a major disappointment. It will just be another shootout game. I can see why he walked out on the game...it definitely needs more Myst brain puzzle than action.

That was probably the one thing that was similar in the books and movies. He doesn't want to kill the ones who don't deserve it. But, he has no issue with killing a bad guy. Doesn't matter how he does it.

Anyone read Bourne Legacy? The new author is better than Robert Ludlum.

I also dislike the checkpoint system. Start playing and then miss key press on screen and you have to start the scene over (like in Uncharted). You never go back far enough to matter so who cares?

All it does is add to your total time.

I will not buy this game and I am soon to delete the demo from my machine.

But it does not really matter because they never even try to shoot at you. The second guy just waits around till you are done fighting and then you have to start again. Punch, punch, punch, block. Repeat until you can takedown. Stupid stupid game.

this was before I played the demo, I played it and the hand to hand combat is really monotonous, and its kinda dumb that no one can seem to shoot you no matter how close they are to you. o well
what can you do?

I had a choice between this, ninja gaiden 2, kung fu panda, and lego indiana jones.

Its actually kinda fun.

Its going on ebay tomorrow once i get 1000/1000 on it.

I bought 4 copies (3 on ebay now) to get all four of the plush collectibles :)
