Like most of the Rock Band owners out there, my bass pedal broke after a bit of use.

I decided to fix it myself, with great results:

* Fiberglassed the broken unit
* Cut out the shape in Lexan
* Tossed a custom paint job on it for kicks (on the underside of the Lexan obviously)
* Tapped the Lexan for flush screws
* Screwed the Lexan on to the plastic pedal
* Rocked out for hours!!

Nice, same thing happened to mine. However, I think I am going to replace it anyway as my drum set is one of the older revisions.

How are the RB2 pedals?

How are the RB2 pedals?

They have metal on them I believe.

Yes, they do. My pedal has been working fine, it's the bubbling on the RB2 drumset that has me up in arms.

However, I've got a fix for it that's been working great!

man the paint job looks photoshopped. I feel your pain on the pedal and the bubbling that is why I moved to the Drum Rocker (way expinsive at $300 so in no way a deal). But those little drums just do not hold up to the abuse of playing past medium for songs like Battery or Pain Killer. Those songs kill those kits because most people hit harder the faster they play (they are not drummers after all just gamers!)

Nope, not photoshopped.
