Along with the coupon for the Pert in ads there was a Rebate where you get $5.00 back for purchasing $5.00 worth of Pert and $5.00 worth of school supplies, all must be on same recepit, must write out all UPCS on back of Reciept and have the original Rebate Form found with Coupon...

This week's flyer shows a mail-in rebate for a $10 gas card when you buy $30 of participating Unilever products. There are matching Unilever coupons in the 8/17 Redplum.

This week at PC there are the Glade Flameless candles on Sale for $4.99 there are peelie coupons for $5.00 each. Making these Free after coupon. Also the register will print a $3.00 off next purchase - a Thank you from Glade for purchasing the Candle!!!!! Very hard to find in store. If you can't find the peelie coupon, there was a $5.00 off Q in the coupons this week.

In my store there is a pop out sign that states "receive a coupon for $3 off your next order courtesy of Glade..." (or something to that effect.) I was just there today hoping they had gotten some in stock (they didn't), but the sign was still up.

I did the deal twice in one order (definitely was the friendly cashier). Then a CRT coupon printed for $3 off 3 J&J products. So turned around and got another 3 items, used the $5 off and the $3 off. Again, printed the $3 off 3. So I will be going back to get some more stuff. :-)

When I first did this deal, I bought 1 Desitin and 2 baby washes. I got 2 Catalina coupons: 1 for $1/1 Desitin and 1 for $1.50/2 Johnson's baby products, so I grabbed 3 more and went through the line again. This time, the register printed out a Catalina for $2.50/3 Johnson's baby products. I think I stopped getting the $1.50/2 or $2.50/3 when I bought 2 Desitins and 1 baby wash in the same transaction. (I just got the $1/1 Desitin coupon.) You can also get a $3/3 coupon if you buy all 3 Johnson's (no Desitin.) I did this deal about 6 times.

The $5 off is in the actual Price Chopper flyer at the store. And the $3 off 3 was from the 9/14 coupon insert.

Catalinas are almost always good for 2 weeks. They had this same promo at Stop and Shop, and the end date was always 2 weeks from when you got them. Not sure how it will work at PC, has anyone confirmed that the cats are printing this week?? At S&S, both the BOGO gel warmers AND oil warmers scanned on the gel warmers. In the PC flyer this week from the Sunday newspaper there was 3 - double your manu Q up to $3.

I've used the super doubles at the SCO. I would put the super double coupon along with the regular coupon. (Sometimes there's some stupid cashiers!) I haven't used them lately, so hopefully they didnt change the rules.

Yes, I can confirm this. They even have signs on the shelf promoting the $4 offer for glade oil plugins. They're more expensive at $4.49 compared to $3.99 at Stop & Shop though.
I bought 2 at SCO and the catalinas printed as soon as the glade was scanned. I used 1 BOGO coupon and 1 $4 catalina, paid $1.22 with tax OOP and had the 2nd $4 OYNO catalina left over.

I was told yesterday that manager approval is required if the total catalina discounts are more than 1/2 off the original amount due. I had a $60 total and wanted to use 14 $4 cats but they beeped after the 7th one. The manager overrode the rest but it took a while since she had to key in her password 7 times.

yeah I always have to have a manager override but I think they just put it in 'manager mode' when they know I have a ton of them to use :) The screen goes all red and then they scan fine

Today I bought 8 Gatorades for $8 and was able to use 2 $4 cats without beeps. I only had to pay $0.65 tax out of pocket. Has anyone figured out how many $4 cats you can use without the "requires manager override for coupons more than 50% of total" beep?

Yesterday I had a ~$28 order before coupons ($20 in gift cards and $5.38 in coupons) and after my second $4 catalina, the register wouldn't take anymore. The supervisor said it was because my coupons went over 50% of the total but I think maybe the limit is 2. :dontknow:

Ok, 2 OYNO $4 CATS can be used at my big Price Chopper. I did use more today, but with a little attitude from the manager. I did tell the cashier that I would do small orders and use 2 at a time and she wasn't interested so she just had the manager come over.

I was able to buy 2 - $10 Price Chopper Gift Cards at the "small" store using 4 - $4 CATS (all I had at the time), 2 CATS rang through no problem and then the manager entered her code no problem for the other 2. SO will go there to convert CATS into gift cards.

Was able to get another 18 plug-ins today. None left at either store. Still have more coupons so will go back in a few days. :)

Saw a sign in the door of my Price Chopper saying "We take Competitor's Coupons". I did ask and they said sure thing, Grocery stores, Target, Walmart, etc.. Okay, so I need to start totally paying attention to other stores coupons too.

Is the Glade warmer catalina deal still going on today? I bought one and did not get a catalina for it. The machine was on and didn't seem to be out of paper. It was the same kind I've been buying so I don't know what went wrong. :(

Are the ad coupons linked to ones card? We have a new store and some specials to go along with but the coupons say that there are limits per customer. So, if I used one today will they know if I go back and try the same deal?

Generally, when you leave the store and walk back in the door, you're a new customer. :nod: So you couldn't do more than the limit in one order, but you could do it again tomorrow. Or in two minutes.

Also, YMMV, but my stores always let me split orders, like with this week's milk coupon, and use one Q on each order.

Card use tends to be pretty laid-back -- if you forget your card, usually either the cashier or another customer will offer to scan one for you. The cashiers are limited in how many they're supposed to do, though.

For the Kraft/Nabisco deal, check the Alphabetical List of Coupons (http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?p=9804309)thread for a few matchups.

The only Powerade coupons I have are for 50 cents off and of course, they'll only take 4 of them!! So no powerade deal for me. :( I'm glad you were able to do it though.

They are on sale at PC this week for 1.99, so that would be free.

i need sliced cheese so if the store ads at the door has the coupons in them then i will use the three coupons for my kraft slices i have coupons for 1.00 off of two packages so it will be 2.00 off of them... not fantastic but i have to buy several packages this week anyways and the three extra dollars off wil buy some bread or something

My cashier at SCO did use the gun and it scanned pretty easily (have to hand q's to the cashier here).

Mine looks very small as well. I'm in PA. I was going to try it later and see what happens. My Price Choppers don't have self checkouts..but if it won't scan-then the self checkout won't help me.

If they can't scan it, ask them to try the hand scanner before they have a chance to read the coupon. :D

i dont believe my pc doubles the 1.00 coupons but if they do then i will love the nestle water they have on sale.. its 3.99 and i have 1.00 coupons for it. i need to pick up like 4 cases of it so if they do double then it will be 1.99 per case or otherwise 2.99 per case is still really good. the major thing i need from pc is the pizza sauce i was going to try doing it at shaws but since pc uses the pre sale price also then i might just do a complete deal with the sauce to get my first 7.00 coupon then i will just keep rolling it into the things that are not on sale at shaws this week.

You can do this 2x with your coupons. I used my soup and cakester cats to pay for mine and then I rolled them at shaw's. Rinse, repeat and enjoy your items :)

Thanks for the prices. I just got back from another run. I redid the order with the Ragu and the cat printed just fine. It also rolled.

wtg on it working for all of you i did a second order today.. 1 caress 2 lipton 1 snuggle 2 of the bryers and my psp was 21.00 sale price was 17.00 i had no coupons for this sale used a 10.00 cat they took from shaws as a competitors coupon and my cat did not print again this time. so i can only assume the price chopper in keene nh must be using sale price only orelse you can not do the cats at the sco?

Total PSP was. $24.14...Sale price was $14.98 :eek: ........so I screwed up -I thought I was exactly at $15.00.

I got NO cat.

I had $6 dollars in coupons (all Kraft or Kraft Nabisco combo's)......so that would bring my PSP to $18.14 and my sale price to $8.98.

I also bought 2 Cracker Barrel cheese $5/2...reg. $4.79......don't "think" these would affect the total as they are not listed.....but some of my coupons were for them to use in conjuction with the crackers....so I wonder if this would affect another scenario.
You need to figure in coupon deductions.........as far as I can tell.

I questioned why I didn' t get my $5 OYNO coupon ( Still thinking I had spent $15 sale price). She wasn't sure so she called over the manager to clarify. He said it is $15 AFTER SALE price AND coupons.
I told the clerk at the register that I Ijust didn't know how the sale worked, I thought I had it covered either way.

The manager apologized for the confusion and reached over and gave me $5 dollars out of the register. :nod: That was very nice of him.

I may go back tomorrow.........not sure now.:shake:

What is the kraft deal?

I also contacted Catalina because 3 of my 5 transactions did not work. She is looking into it and will get back to me. They only see upc and regular prices but the stores don't seem to know that therefore will tell you that it must be after sale price and coupons.

hold on, I was sure Catalina's counted the sale price but NOT Coupons? can anyone confirm?? I dont' get it the Catalina prints BEFORE the coupons/cash gets paid, at least at the SCO, so how could that be? :confused:

I did not even hit the required $15 dollars. I am going to try one more time.

The 20/7 sale LAST week was PSP.

I am thinking this one is just SP. Like I said ...I only hit $14.98 so I wasn't much help there...but I did go over $15 PSP even with the coupon deductions...so definitely did not miss getting a cat based on PSP. I only told you what the manager told me. I don't know if he knew either.

I'll be more careful next time.

It is hard to wrap your mind around this one as there are coupons for cheese/cracker combo but you have to remember that the cheese is NOT part of the 15/5 deal.:confused:

Another problem with a cat a PC Shrewsbury.

I bought 6 Nabisco crackers @ $5/2= $15.00
I used 3 $1/2 coupons....so $12.00...........no cat. They gave me the $5 cash at CS.
FWIW...I did also get 2 CB cheese and used 2 $1/1 coupons....but that shouldn't affect anything. CS said she thought the coupon company had fixed that earlier - but "I" guess not.


I had split up my orders and CS said to come back if I don't get it with the next order (which I had left at the register).

This order had 2 Nabisco crackers @ $5/2= $5.00
4 Planter's @ $2.99ea =$11.96
So total $16.96
I used one $1/2 on the crackers and two $1/2 on the Planters
so $5.00+11.96=$16.96 minus the $3 in coupons =$13.96.........same register, I got the $5 cat this time.....go figure. :shake:

Went shopping last night and got two oyno cats. One was Save $3 from colgate/palmolive, the other was save $2 compliments of Ragu. I bought 4 tubes of the 2/$3 toothpaste and used 4 $1.50 q's and 4 jars of Ragu that was 2/$3 and used .75/2 q's. So I was thinking that I had just missed out on a cat deal this week since the colgate/palmolive one ended 2-7, then my mom called and said she got the $2 oyno cat from Ragu, but didn't buy any Ragu products, just milk bread and veggies. Weird.

So after that whole rant can anyone tell me what the deal is with at least the Ragu one?

you buy 3 jars you get 2.00 oyno so if you have the .75/2 coupon you would buy 4 and use 2 coupons i am not sure if they are still on sale but last week i got 26 jars doing this and rolling my cats so it was like .25-.50 per jar depending if i got the cat the next time or not because 2 times it didnt spit it back out at me... also in the keene nh store you can only use 3 like coupons now supposedly.. i tried using 4 of the ragu at a time but they wouldnt let me..

I have better luck doing PG stuff @ Target so I didn't bother, though if anyone needs firelogs I think it's a great deal-- the duraflame one type is regular $20-- white box, there's a couple different kinds-- marked down to $12, and if you go to duraflame.com there are coupon offers for $4 and $5 off (http://www.duraflame.com/aa_promo/hot_promos01.php). So I used the $5 coupon and got a 6 pack of firelogs for $7 instead of $20 :whee:
And I am still stockpiling those canned tomatoes, the contadina diced that are on sale 4/5 with the $1 off two on your next visit coupons on the can. The coupons are good on the other contadina sauces too, so I've been getting some of the big crushed tomatoes too this week.

I've been waiting for the GG to go on sale too because I have some 50 cent coupons. A couple months ago they were on sale for 10/$10 but I think they're normally about $1.79.

I got a prescription filled at the pharmacy the other day (which ended up being free with the 'new or transferred prescription' coupon) and found a stack of coupons for $1 off any Top Care product. The lip balm is only 99 cents and I'm sure there are some other things that would end up being cheap or free. :woot:
