I know some people reported having hair fall out after using the Start Sampling samples, so maybe they are tweaking the formula to try and make it safe for us to use and Bzz.

After all, it would be even worse marketing, to send us a kit full of sub par stuff that causes our hair to fall out in mass.

Yes, I kept the spot treatment, because it DID work. The other items I gave to my sister when testing was over. You know how some people reported it worked great . . . well it massively improved her skin tone . . . it was odd . . . me it destroyed, her it improved. I think it may have to do with ph levels???

log in, and once logged in, it will be listed down at the bottom left of your agent homepage,AND, you can click on the status thing at the top right of the page, and when it drops down, it will tell you your level, if you have early invite/golden key, AND if you have a campaign invite.

also, if you're on Facebook, synch in your BzzAgent account using the FB app, because then you get notifications in your FB notifications, and I actually got my FB invite, BEFORE i got my email invite today, so that might help

I got a sample of the Aveeno shampoo from Wal-Mart (I think?) some time earlier this year...and it was really good shampoo...didn't make my hair fall out or anything like that. That's why I was really excited to be offered the Bzz Campaign for it.

Yeah it's just shampoo. No, it's not really that big of a deal. I just get annoyed when I see a company pass the buck like this...it's Aveeno's fault, Bzz's fault, no it's Aveeno's fault, no it's Bzz's fault. I don't care who's fault it is...BzzAgent should make it right regardless.

I'm not the only one who's annoyed, but everyone else has had their asses chewed about it so they won't speak up.

They could have sent out a one-use sample, like WalMart does, just to get the ball rolling on Bzzing. Then sent the actual package when they got their head out of their arse. It looks bad on Bzz, who is happy to pass the buck, but the reeeeeeeeeeeally bad part is that it looks AWFUL on Aveeno. I mean, when you hire a company to do PR for you, is this an image you would pay for? They talk up your product, recruit a bunch of people to spread the word for you and then shove the campaign between the couch cushions? I wouldn't blame Aveeno if they just pulled it entirely and Bzz gets fired. No matter *what* happens now, Aveeno will always be remembered in a bad way because that's the spin Bzz put on it- Aveeno's fault. When I see the shampoo on the shelf (or other Aveeno products) I will remember this non-campaign. When I go to Bzz, it won't be wholeheartedly.

Recap on the 7-11 fiasco
I went into the local 7-11 and all I got was a blank look from a cashier here and he sent me to the fridge section where they have the starbucks frappuchinos or but its like a machine apparently.
Trying to find a storelocator on their website was pointless and noone in customer service at 7-11 has any clue about it.
Customer service gives me a number for 7-11 marketing in Texas: so i contact marketing they dont return call eventually someone does get back to me from their marketing dept in Texas.He tells me they were all over the country and he will send me an excel sheet with ones closest to me. 10 days later he sends me 5 addresses, in st charles illinois, shame thats 252 miles away. Why would you send me the location of 5 stores that far away and simply not say there isnt a store near you that has the coffee machine despite us thinking its nationwide.

Status really means little, in the end.

You have 100,000 agents. Of those, Company X is selling juiceboxes and wants to target women and men with children ages 3-8 in fifteen states. So let's say that brings the numbers down to about 15,000. Company X wants to do the promotion for a total of 10,000 agents. So the invitations (supposedly) start at Level 6, then are sent to Level 5, etc until down to Level 1. Will they be snapped up before it gets to level 1? Who knows. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. If they sent out all the invites on Saturday morning and a Level 6 doesn't check her email until Monday, she very well may lose out. But the Level 1 down the block got in Sunday afternoon. It's all theory that the higher levels get in first. Also, higher levels are usually more likely to get extra kits, I think I got my first once I hit Level 6. Just keep bzzing and you will be rewarded for your time. That is, unless you are counting on the Aveeno campaign. LOL I think Santa is delivering those. :lol:

I do not understand why Bzz would send invites for a campaign before the product for the kits shipped to them? That seems like a bad business practice to me. Why not wait until the kits are ready to go out the door? No one would be the wiser had they waited to send out invitations until it was really ready.

well, I personally had a great experience with it and I love it, it works great for my hair, and i got some of the styling stuff too, it's great frizz control.

However, at least 2 people I know of ( both got the full sized bottle from Start Sampling, back months ago, before the campaign invites went out, SS did some thing where a small group of people who signed up for samples for the full sized thing) and they report that it made their hair fall out.

I, however, have only used the sample packets and the styling cream, and have less hair loss than I used to, because I used to shed like a cat in early Summer.

So, it may be something was wrong with a certain batch, or some people might react badly to it, or a certain kind ( i use the nourish+restore, the stuff for dry hair) of it might be bad for you.

I really do feel that might be it, since 2 of my friends from on here both said it happened to them.

oh, and i really do not feel that BzzAgent should be penalized if Aveeno screwed something up. If it's BzzAgent's mistake, then we should all get our Golden keys back and get a credit of something like 500 MyPoints.

However, if Aveeno messed up, BzzAgent shouldn't have to pay for their clients screw up. Unless Aveeno pays them for repairing the mess, BzzAgent shouldn't have to fix it for them. Maybe do a little something to make sure everyone still loves them, but other than that, they don't have to do anything, IMO

I would never pay $9 for this stuff and based on my own experience I feel bad recommending it to anyone else. The times I have used it the dang stuff barely stays on for more then 3 hours.

No Burt's Bees for me. After forgetting the coupons for several weeks I finally got to try the Fruit2Day this morning. I had the mango/peach variety. It's tasty to be sure, but it's just fruity tasting there isn't really any distinguishable flavor of any one particular fruit if that makes sense. The chunkies seemed that they were peach and pear.

Is Aveeno gone from the store shelves? I didn't hear about any recall on this product. If large numbers of people had their hair fall out, I think it would have been a major news article.I am not saying it didn't happen, but I don't want to spread rumors about Aveeno either.

No, it's still there. I just saw some at Albertson's last night. I got the full size samples from Start Sampling, and I really love it. It definitely did make a bit of hair fall out, more than my usual Head and Shoulders 2-1 sleek and shiny variety, but not an amount that I ever felt alarmed about and it wasn't every time either.

I don't know if I should use my gold key invite for Burt's Bee. I have plenty of time to use it, but I love Burt's Bee....geesh, what to do what to do.

Suggestions? I don't really do much with Bzzagent, I use to but got kind of sick of jump through all their dang hoops.

Burts looks as though they are really putting a lot of money and effort into promoting this product...and I have always liked the BB products that I have used in the past. If you are doing Bzz simply for the MP, you need to find something else. If you do only 2 reports, the minimum required, it's average of 100 points. It takes 800 points to get a $5 gift card, so her "lost" incentive is what- $.65? For getting $10 worth of product and trying it and talking about it? Maybe handing her friends some samples or coupons so they can save a few bucks? And then qualifying fro MORE campaigns because she is active? She still gets the two combs and works her way up the ladder. She is 17, so she will be 18 NEXT YEAR. Wouldn't it be nice if she had a bit of status and some Bzzing experience under her belt when she Q's for adult demographic status and a MP account? I think sacraficing .65 a campaign would be totally worth it for my kid to get the experience AND the products. We Bzz for the products and the experience, sure as heck NOT for the insulting amount of MyPoints they give us! :lol:

I agree with you but there is an incentive (small as it may be) for adults and there should be one for kids too. Is their bzz worth any less? No one does Bzz for the points!

I just got the BB with a key.... I had two keys so I used one.. This is very nice stuff. I did a product test for this line about 6-8 months ago. really nice stuff !! Good Luck All

I think that you can only get credit for the first 2 reports but I may be wrong because I'm pretty new to BzzAgent.

My husband and I did, although he's not active anymore. I don't think you should have a problem. :nod:

They will even look at how reports are written and will ban you if the wording sounds similar to the other member, they will assume it is one person. My 17 year old son got the Burts Bee campaign. He hasn't been offered anything in months and months. It's probably been a year or more since his last campaign.

i got offered the BB campaign, this will be my first! yay. I've never done a pt before.

I don't think we're going to do it either unless we get express written permission first. I think it would be pretty obvious if I were completing my hubby's reports and vise-versa since we have such a different writing style but I still don't want to risk it.


My son has had an account for the past 4 years and we have never had a problem. As a matter of fact, it was bzzagent that asked me to get him to sign up his own account. I guess they knew I had a 13 year old (at the time) son from my sign up information. Anyway, we use the same computer and IP address with no problem.

Guess what I just discovered! The side dishes at Boston Market are VEGETARIAN! All except the sweet potato casserole, which has marshmallows, which might have an animal by product, and the caesar salad dressing, which has anchovies.
But this is great news! it means that when I treat my mom, uncle, and grandma to Boston Market next week, i don't have to make my cousin, the vegetarian, feel left out! I can get her a tasty side dish or two, so she gets something special too :)

I also like that i can order online, since I will be driving 200 miles to see my family, I can't go to my local BM, since the food would be sitting in my car for 150 miles of drivetime. So, I can order online, for pickup at the Raleigh BM, which is only about 80 miles away from my family.

I ended up using my Golden key to get in this campaign. I figured it was worth it since I love Burts Bees products.

I finally found those Fruit2Day juices at a local Safeway store. The packaging that holds the 2 bottles together leaves something to be desired...and the local mop boy at Safeway agrees with me (oops I dropped one crack! splash!).

I got the Strawberry Orange and it's not half bad. I could do without the chunks of pineapple, but overall it's a good pre-breakfast drink. My son said it was too sour for his liking, but it's just the right flavor for me.

Hmmm...so we've got Females, 20's, possibly East Coast campaign (VA, MI, MD reported so far) and Level doesn't matter as we have a 4 and two 6's.

I'm in Florida (so East Coast), Level 6, but not in the 20's.

Anyone else ever got a "exceptional" bzzreport? I was so amazed at the extra 5 points.

I did but I have never noticed that there're different classification of Bzzreport before until I checked my report records. Congrats to you!

I'm so confused with BzzAgent. I can't figure out how to get past Solitary Bee status. And I've only gotten 1 bzz.

To get more honeycombs and these can give you 1 for completing each task: -
- Complete at least 3 frog opinions and polls per month
- add at least 10 items to BzzScapes per month (can be across multiple BzzScapes)
- answer any post-campaign survey (have to wait until you have one)
- have at least 2 BzzReports approved in a BzzCampaign (again, have to wait until you have a campaign)

You cannot jump from solitary bee to higher status very fast but possible to Carpenter and Busy Bee in a short time if you do the above. I joined in June and now I am a Busy Bee waiting to jump to Honey Bee. Hope that help!

You can check your status by clicking My Profile on the top right hand corner, then click My Status on the top right hand bar below My BzzAgent, Frogpond, BzzCampaigns, BzzScapes. Scroll down and you can see Your Status Tracker. On the right hand side, you can see Earn Honeycombs, click More under Act By and you can see what else you can do to earn more honeycombs. You can see your complete honeycomb history from there. On the left hand side, you can see a bookmark on your status and it tells you how many more honeycombs you need to jump to the next level.

NO BB kit today. It would have been nice to get it for my birthday (TODAY) and tomorrow I leave until sometime this weekend, so no BB for me until next week I guess :(

I have accepted a campaign from my work computer...only once...I do not want to encourage you to do that though..because I have no idea on the rules that bzz has about the use of a different IP addy..

I wouldn't think they would have one. If they did, I'd be in big trouble, lol. My ISP uses dynamic IP addresses so my IP address is never the same one day to another.

I tweeted at Jono about it on Twitter, and he said for me to quote " sure, go for it" So I will try and not worry too much, and instead be REALLY hopeful that my cousin or I, gets a campaign while i'm visiting ( she's a new Agent, never had a campaign, maybe i'll be good luck for her, LOL)
