BzzAgent (http://www.facebook.com/pages/BzzAgent/51600822555?ref=nf) Before you ask. The "big" campaign is still in a holding pattern. Working on some logistical issues. Will launch soon! Promise!

Sometimes I can't understand how certain people will cry and complain that their FREE products take so long to come sometimes.

Well, I have complained even if just to dh or a friend before ... bzz rarely gives me anything so it's often not about them LOL unless it's about how I am a bzz reject most of the time.
Anyhoo, I don't think it's really a whining "where's my free stuff, you own me" mentality but rather a 'hey, if you want me to bzz this stuff it might be a good idea to send it before the campaign ends" sort of thing, know what I mean? How can you bzz a widget, pass out coupons, whatever, and then report back with accurate bzz if you never get the kit.
Now, if they extend the campaign or keep people up to date, etc that would be different, but I know for a fact that there's a very reputable gal on here that posted she never received I believe two kits -- that's not right, in my opinion. Either she has the worst mail carrier in the world or bzz is dropping the ball.
I think that stuff warrants a complaint, free or not.

and they aren't really Free, they do expect us to Bzz them at write reports. Mypoints? Didn't someone do the calculation once and a BzzReport is worth about 20 cents?
How long does it take to Bzz and write a good report? Let's say 15 minutes total...at 80 cents an hour to work for them, I'd say it's not out of line to expect a $4 bottle of shampoo.

I so agree! Not only did agents wait months on Aveeno, lots had damaged kits when it did arrive. As far as I have heard, Bzz wasn't even answering the emails sent about those kits. There were quite a few posts about it at a several message boards. Shame on you Bzz! These are not just freebies people. Bzz isn't paid to distribute freebies to us, they are a word of mouth advertising agency and they are paid to get us to spread the word and make reports on it.

Yep, my kit was damaged. The conditioner lid was open and all of the conditioner leaked out onto everything else. No conditioner and what a mess! Notified them, never head a thing back.

Why complain? No matter you look at it you are being asked to try products for FREE. And nowhere on the Bzzagent site does it say that you are guaranteed to receive the bzzkit by a certain date, so how can you complain about them postponing the shipping of bzzkits? That make no sense to me. By the way, I copied this right from there TERMS & CONDITIONS page:
BzzAgent Does Not Guarantee Product Shipment. Due to the nature of shipping products, BzzAgent cannot guarantee the condition of products shipped. BzzAgent makes all attempts to ship products (BzzKits) in a timely manner, but we cannot guarantee a specific time frame due to the nature of the shipping and fulfillment industry.

This is not a job and we do NOT get paid for doing it. When you signed up, you knew that in return for the opportunity to try new products for FREE, you would be asked to report Bzz back to them. However, there is also NO OBLIGATION to report Bzz. And I copied this right from the BECOME A BZZAGENT page:
It's free to join, with no obligation to participate (though that is the fun part)

I hear what you are saying, but for those of us that don't get the products ("lost" in shipping) or get products that are damaged/unusable, it's annoying. They still expect us to honestly Bzz that? How? I want to be a Bzzagent, but if I don't have the product, it's not possible to honestly and effectively Bzz something unless I have a product to try or demonstrate. I'll be damned if I'm going to buy a product out of my own pocket, to help Bzz line theirs. I feel like it IS an obligation for me to Bzz when I sign up for a campaign.

I have the Hallmark invite as well. I figured I'd join up just to check it out and (sad but true) earn the honeycomb for it. For two days though this is the message I am getting "We're an error has occur will trying to join this campaign." ... Ummm --- okay!! Something look wrong with that to y'all??

I agree, that in the situation when the Bzzkit IS shipped it does suck when something goes wrong with the mail or items are damaged in transit! If you read my post I was talking more about the complaints about campaigns that get postponed.
The thing is, there have been so many of those types of posts lately that it gets tiresome to sift through to find the truly informational posts. I realize that everyone can post what they wish (except where mods feel inappropriate), but why does a post about a new campaign need multiple smart responses about how a separate campaign was delayed so long?

Yeah that Aveeno campaign was pretty messed up all around. It irritated me because I used a golden key...and a few other really good campaigns were launched during that time.
The Aveeno shampoo was hard on my hair anyways (ironically). It's in the box to go to my mother in law's house this next weekend. Hopefully she'll give me some real good Bzz!

I was just thinking that I have complained when actual freebies have arrived messed up. It has happened more than once, but one time that I recall was a Crest toothpaste sample. I contacted Crest and got a really nice letter saying how sorry they were and got a coupon for a free full size item of my choice. People complain about how Bzz treats them when they have issues and they every right to be upset. It is a rare thing when I hear that someone was treated great by Bzz when they had a problem, and I have been an agent for many years now. I admit I have heard a few rare nice stories (someone got a gold key back recently), but they are really rare. Heck I have even had them not answer emails I sent asking questions. Once I wrote about an issue with referring my sister. She also wrote about the same issue and referenced my email. Nether one of us ever got a reply. Other times 2 people have answered one email I sent:confused: IMO they run hot and cold, but mostly cold. That is my opinion, but we each have a right to our own opinions.

:lmao: Me too, logged in to see if anything new was being offered (word of a biggie has me eager to see if I will be offered anything good) and low and behold, first thing I see is that Hallmark invite, and yepper, still don't qualify -- wouldn't that fact have registered with them yet LOL.
Seriously, if I don't qualify, fine, I am good with that (I wouldn't pay 99cents for a texted card anyway, after the free one I doubt I'd ever use it again, but I would have bzzed it regardless so others would know about it incase they'd be interested) but just stop offering it to me when it's clear I don't qualify based on the messages I keep getting LOL.

Just got in on the Zyrtec campaign...although this would have been a lot easier to Bzz in the spring time when everyone seems to have allergies.
In the pre-campaign survey, they made me agree to report any adverse events with the product to Johnson & Johnson. Are they anticipating a lot of adverse events? Are we guinea pigs for some kind of new packaging? Will this product be safe to give to my kids?
Thoughts?

Sorry I was being sarcastic...I've tried to give them to people and get the "oh okay...uhhh thanks" look. I don't think it's a very good tool. IF you can get your friends to use them, and if it works, more power to you :)

Congrats on getting Zyrtec! :) I would guess that the "adverse events" thing is just legal jargon. IMO they would not pass these out all over the country unless plenty of tests had already been done (on people who knew they were being tested). I would be confident that they would be safe to give to my daughter. Just my 2cents.

Despite being otc, there can be adverse reations. They consider it safe, but the truth is no drug is safe for everyone. Zyrtec has horrible side effects for me and for my children. It causes extreme mood issues in me. I mean extremely angry for no reason at all. I didn't know it was coming from Zyrtec until I was doing research on it. My child was having nightmares when I gave it to her. In my research I found these side effects are not the most common, but they are aware it does cause issues of this kind and others you may not be aware of. The papers that come in the box do not mention these, that I know of , but you can find the info with a little digging online. So watch your children closely on this. It is a great antihistamine for many, but also can have lots of side effects. They didn't make agents take that training for no reason and we didn't have to take it for Claritin.

I'm very paranoid about that stuff...we just recently had a bunch of Infant Tylenol in our cabinet that was part of the recent recall. I'm sure you're right, there won't be any safety issues...probably they just want to be extra careful.

Maybe Loreal is the big one?

Maybe, it seems pretty big to me. I wonder if it's just for the over 40 crowd though; even if it is, I bet it's a really good one for those who get in.

It depends on your insurance company as to if you can get Zyrtec covered with a prescription. Some insurance companies ( as well as Medicare) will pay if the doctor writes a script, even if it is otc. Zyrtec and the generic is much higher than most co-pays, so it pays to find out what your insurance company will do.
mom3times
10-13-2009, 10:33 AM
OUr insurance just started covering it again since its generic. I'm sooo tired of them constantly changing what they'll cover. They cover Zyrtec, then they stop, then they start again. Went through the same thing with Nasonex, they covered it then stopped, now they cover it again. You usually get the generic since its all the insurance companies want to cover unless the doctor says otherwise.

I got the Zyrtec in today. It comes in at the perfect time too- my daughter is only 3, and only suffers from springtime allergies anyway. But I'm going to see my son this weekend, and my ex and his fiancee and the 3 kids practically live at the ballpark, and all the kids are 8 and 9 years old so it should be a perfect opportunity to buzz this one.
I'd rather have had the Revitalift though. I'm only 30, but have plenty of wrinkles around my eyes. Actually, I'm not sure, but isn't this the same thing that you were supposed to get awhile back from total beauty when you signed up for the mascara and gave them 10 additional e-mail addys?

I have three cats, and one of them is always getting in trouble because he's pretty bright and very curious. I noticed him sneezing his head off the other day and I got worried because excessive sneezing can mean illness. I knew that we certainly couldn't afford an expensive vet bill right now. I did a web search and found out that the sneezing could be from something that smells strongly and that's when it dawned on me! I had just installed the Sense and Spray in the bathroom and it sounds exactly like a cat sneezing when it goes off which freaks out all three of them. The boy cat went to investigate and probably got a face full of freshness which explained the sneezing! I moved it so it wouldn't happen again, but it sure was funny!

A couple of weeks ago, Bzz sent out an e-mail with a link for Burts Bee samples. I think it also encouraged you to send it to friends to be entered to win a skin care package.
However, it brought you to the same place where you could sign up for a sample a month or so ago. Maybe they just had a bunch of samples left over and decided to get rid of them through BzzAgent since they had just done a campaign with them.

Last time they offered coupons like $5 off $10 purchase and free cupcake with any meal purchase. Plus 10% or 20% off catering orders.
Oh and a coupon for one free individual meal.

The 10% off is probably catering. Last time the kit had $3 off $6 coupons, catering coupons, and a free meal card. The first time I got it the kit had cupcake pogs (seasonal thing), $3 off $6 coupons, a free meal, and a B1G1F card.

Wow...I logged in today and had 5 surveys to do. I haven't logged in, for about a mnth. What a nice little surprise. I'd really forgotten about it, because I haven't been getting anything from them since the beginning of the year. And the 1 early invite I got, popped up on my IM, I logged in, said I wanted to join and it told me, I was too late, so I got a bit annoyed at them.
Hopefully something fun happens soon and congrats to those who've been having fun so far!

I'm not really feeling them that much anymore either. I have a rarely new Twitter and am following Jono and I got a notice that he's following me now too. A few minutes later I get a direct message through Twitter asking "Tell me what you think about BzzAgent.com? Have you checked out http://www.bzzagent.com/bzzscapes/ yet?".
My first thought was that he didn't really want to know what I thought about bzzcapes because honestly I hate them and don't even bother....
My second thought was the idea of being a walking advertisement for whatever product or campaign that's the Bzzz of the moment isn't as exciting and fun like it used to be.

The Wiki hasn't been updated since May -- I'm sure the references to level 7 are old, from when we actually thought there might be one (and before Bzz admitted there wasn't).

Redeem yourself! :D
Did you do the Boston Market campaign that just came out? I've got three of these booklets for Give Kids The World that has good coupons in them for free stuff and $'s off. I tried searching the thread using certain words and nothing came up about this. The coupon books are $1.00. Am I supposed to give these out, sell them and send the money in, use them myself, what? In the BzzGuide, it only mentions "This holiday season, Boston Market invites you to help this organization by purchasing a coupon book with $35 in Boston Market savings for just $1.00. Boston Market will donate proceeds from each booklet sale to Give Kids the World."
I didn't purchase the booklets and yet I have three of them here, along with a coupon for a free meal, three coupons to give to friends, restaurant menu, etc. The booklets have free whole chicken with family meal purchase, free dessert, free kids meal coupon, free Fridge Pouch with family meal purchase, and $5 off a family meal. Now I'm getting hungry, dammit. :eat:
Do you or does anyone else know what I'm supposed to do with these booklets or should I just email jono?

use them your self, take some co-workers out for lunch/bzz, use for your extended family, give to neighbors, use as a way to bzz, give one (just one coupon) out as you bzz a co-worker, show them to bzz-ee and say they can get their own for only $1 at the resturant - don't actually charge anyone.

:teehee: you always crack me up  I guess that's Boston Market's version of the CFA calendar (minus the calendar part). Sounds like a pretty good deal for $1. I wish the one by my house was still open, the closest one to me is 20 minutes from work (in the opposite direction from my house). I didn't realize that when I took the campaign the 1st time it was offered.

Was the calendar part of a campaign BM was doing with fund-raising then? I've been with BzzAgent since 2001 and I don't remember them having campaigns with fund-raising attached so this kinda threw me.
I don't think I can stomach going to BostonMarket so many times. :shake: I can just hide on the side of their bldg like a week before Thanksgiving and hand out the coupons and info as people are going in though. That should take like an hour or ten minutes (depending on how cold it is out there). :woot:

No sorry, I didn't mean to be so obtuse in my response -- I blame it on the cold meds and a headache that won't quit.
I was mixing food references -- I was comparing the offerings in the Boston Market fundraising booklet to the Chick-Fil-A calendar (as far as types of food coupons).
I saw some info about Give Kids The World on the Boston Market website, so this must be something new for them, and they're using BzzAgent to get the word out? http://www.bostonmarket.com/newsroom?page=GKTW
Here's a link to the info about the coupon book (not much at all) http://www.bostonmarket.com/newsroom?page=GKTWCouponBook
I guess you're bzzing GKTW, and not just Boston Market in general?
