What is BzzAgent? BzzAgent is a Word-of-Mouth marketing company based in Boston. Their home office is referred to as the Central Hive.
How does it work? (In a nutshell) Based on demographics, people are selected to participate in various campaigns. If you agree to join the campaign, you'll receive a package of product or coupons. You only responsibility is to talk openly about the products (either positive or negatively) and report back to BzzAgent via their online form or online video submission.

Do NOT WAIT FOR EMAIL INVITES FROM BZZ AGENT!! Check your Bzz home page daily on a regular basis especially when you know campaigns are popping up. Email invites are often late and you will risk finding the campaign full if you wait. Also when you do, LOG OUT of your Bzz account after you've checked, and clear your cache on occasion. Don't ask why it works... it just does sometimes.
There is no *good time of day* to check or anything specific like that. Check several times a day if you can especially when we're talking about new campaigns showing up.

Kit shipping info: Info about shipments is under "My Profile" and then "My Shipments" HOWEVER PLEASE take note... it is rarely accurate in any way at all. You may often receive your kits and then notice the shipment page will still say "in progress", so... if it says it's been shipped and shows a date, that is usually pretty accurate. Otherwise, it will get to you when it gets there.

Do we only get points for the 2 reports per campaign:

You only need two reports to MOVE UP a "comb". Any further reports WILL get you MyPoints but will NOT move you up any further. Also, the post campaign poll will give you one more comb, so you move a maximum of two combs per campaign. Remember this is PER CAMPAIGN though! So if you have say, 3 campaigns, you could move up 6 combs if you do the two reports plus the post poll for each.

A Golden Key is only available to be used when the opportunity is offered to you. Typically it's when they have extra spots in a campaign that you otherwise wouldn't have qualified for. You can't pick and choose which campaign you want to use it on, you have to wait for them to ask you if you'd like to use it. REPEAT: I know Bzz makes it sound like you can CHOOSE ANY CAMPAIGN to use your key on but you cannot; you can only accept a campaign they OFFER you in which they ALSO SHOW IT REQUIRES THE KEY

I completely agree. I did not get this campaign but I had gotten a free one and I have pretty sensitive skin and I could not use it at all. I'm used to the Venus Embrace and won't be changing anytime soon.

i really liked bzzagent better when they sent us products to try, we tried them, talked to our friends, gave out coupons and reported. the frogpond and bzzscapes seem like busywork which will eventually prove to have no benefit to the clients....

Some may remember awhile back that I never got one of my bzzkits, and I used a golden key for it. I guess missing one bzzkit out of the 49 campaigns that I have done is still a good track record. I was not sure if I wanted to ask for the key to be returned or not. (just did not want to be a bother, and I was not sure if it was right to ask for it) I did decide to ask and they did return the key to my account!

Second issue-

Months after joining my points, somehow my e mail account did not like the mypoints e mails any longer and they bounced back and then my mypoints account was eventually closed. I thought that I was ok as long as I was earning points. (per mypoints TOS) Well, I was not ok. I had to e mail and call mypoints. MYpoints told me that the points cannot be given back to me, since the account is archived. I then called and also e mailed documentation to bzzagent for help. It went back and forth, but I got an e mail today saying that I can establish a new mypoints account and they will add my old points back in!!! I am going to spend the points at once. I already had so many gift cards, that I kept postponing cashing the points in, but I am not going to wait any longer. (It was quite a few points from bzzing for years)

Bzzagent is a top notch company. They are very professional. I am glad that mypoints came through also. I just could not accept the fact that the points I earned would be taken away from me.

Got a sample of the Aveeno shampoo from Walmart.com...tried it out today and it's good so far. I have a sensitive scalp and wavy hair (well unruly hair lol)...and it's very soft so far. Looks very shiny (not greasy).

The shampoo sample was Aveeno Nourish + Soothe and the conditioner was Aveeno Nourish + Revitalize.

I personally know Felicia. Our children play together. I work with her husband. I talk to many of you in the OT thread. I have felt that my friend was getting blasted. At this point, my feelings are getting hurt FOR her.

They were so un-prepared to do this. The website was so bugged and people did take advantage of that. However someone did try and contact them via phone and internet to no avail very early on to let them know things were not correct. After several days of repeated attempts and no replies, someone just assumed they would leave things that way.

They need to start over fresh that would be the fair thing to do.

The current person in the number one position may spend her entire day there to post duplicate early on and not have that taken away as others did, and now spends her day posting the same product information and not much more.

My friend has spent as many countless hours and was told it was impossible in an email from Jono to post X number of posts in X period of time, however that friend never did get to number 1, which means what? The person who has been there at #1 all week isn't doing something odd to post that much as well? Counting posts via hand, my friend did no more than #1 and in most cases did less. #1 did repeat countless posts early on just as everyone else did, yet never got them removed, why is that?

There is still megs of cheating going on, you can do multiple things to up your chances quickly that have not been fixed according to my friend. Your average mom is not going
to know what a "script" is or how to use it. That isn't what is going on at all, it is so much easier than that because the website is horrible.

Check number two why do you think almost all of her scapes have 5 or 6 votes hmmm tough one to figure out.

After Jono sent the email to my friend and he asked for a reply, she has not received a single reply to 3 emails explaining some of the things that were wrong with the site, and the things she has currently found will go unreported until they decide to contact her back, which means for the next several scapes it will continue to be one big cheatscape.

in Bzz Agents defense, it is the weekend. I would not seriously expect any sort of a real reply from them until Monday.

BTW, i'm #2 on the list, and I will not reply to what you are insinuating.

However, I will state this.

BzzAgent is a WORD OF MOUTH company. In order to effectively do WOM, you have to have what is called a "network".

If having a network is against the rules, then bzzagent is going against the very principles that guide them

BTW, BzzAgent did remove a lot of reposted crap when they fixed the site a few days ago. Someone who at the time was ahead of me ( is not any longer, I am not talking about TigPooh!) was actually staying ahead of me, by taking my posts, and REPOSTING them! When they fixed the reposts, that person fell way down the list, and i went ahead some.

They need, however to fix the "reposting" of the same news article that went out on a wire service, to 100s of newspapers, and is now being posted, 100s of times, the same story, from different news outlets. if it was a different story, that would be cool, but it's the same stuff, different URL.

There is a lot wrong with the BzzScapes, but then again, isn't the fixing of BzzScapes sorta the job of the person who wins this thing in the long run?

I am not going to argue with you, but I am going to point a few things out. I MAY have posted duplicates in the beginning--without knowledge of it. There was no way of knowing what others were posting unless I sat there and reda each and every article, while posting. Impossible. You are undermining BzzAgent. I am positive that when they removed the dup posts on thursday, they removed any of mine as well. Why wouldn't they? I tried very hard to find as much different stuff as I could, but sometimes it was hard to find anything....it is VERY hard now. How could it not be with well over 20,000 posts??? Your home page, where it lists the campaign will tell you how many days remain in a campaign.
Sometimes the do extend the date...I can't recall which campaign, but this happened recently.

I submitted a report last week and remember there were four days left in the campaign, but now that the post-campign survey is up I realized it isn't showing up in my history. I'm going to email JonO in cse they can retrieve it, but Iam hoping to narrowdown which it might have been. TIA!

The points should be there when you recieve information that your report has been reviewed. Go "my profile" then "My Stuff" and double check. If it's not there, shoot Jono an email and let him know you didn't receive the points.

I'm still hoping for my Aveeno kit. I did try the stuff from my Wal-Mart sample though, and let me be the first to say, THIS STUFF ROCKS!

My hair is all smooth and shiny and nice to touch! and considering I have frizzy dry curly hair, that's a pretty amazing statement!

Hi, just wanting some input/answers. I thought that after I accepted my Bzz review pts it showed up right away (a day) to my MP, although the pts would pend for 30 days. Now I noticed no credit for weeks to my MP account for my Bzz report reviews. Has anyone else noticed or experienced this? thought I'd ask here before I ask Bzz.

You get what I mean though, I think that BzzAgent with it's ability to target a certain demographic is going to appealing. Why pay for a TV ad, for a feminine product, that men, kids, and people who have no hair are going to also see, when you can pay half or less, and make sure nothing but your target demographic gets/tries/talks about the product?

I'd be baffled if you guys got anything less than full size. Start Sampling sent full sized samples a few months ago. You guys are gonna love it! I use it and my Head and Shoulders.

it truly does. in just weeks i saw a huge difference in my skin's tone and texture and the couple age freckles I had are completely faded.....you dont' know me in person -- but a couple on here can attest to the fact that I have pretty good skin even prior to this and try to take great care of my skin. so a product that so dramatically improved the tone and texture would have been a hard sell to me if i hadn't tried it in real life. It is one product that is really, really worth the money -even at gasp - full price!

Eva - I have not yet paid for any of six bottles of this sitting in wait for me in my cabinet....between gift cards and coupns and extra care bucks - I've been doing very well. However, would this magic ever have to end, yes, I would actually shell out the $12 for it - it is THAT good.

i would say i noticed a difference in about three weeks....didn't break out - but i do find that the moisturizers with sunscreen in them make you sweat more. Also - you should know - I don't wear any makeup but mascara so it soaks competely and exclusively into my skin and not anything else. The fading of my age freckles has rendered them almost invisible.

you are so very welcome. i stock up on them from cvs whenever i can. i transfer my scripts back and forth between cvs, target and rite aid and use the gift cards and coupons when there are sales and offers for extra care bucks with purchase....and lately - major deal alert - CVS has had their Garnier Anti-Sun Damage line with a free Loreal Define-A-Lash attached to it! I am pretty sure that means you have submitted 3 reports without checking the box that all involved know you are an agent. Once you have done that 3 times, you must do their little training thing or you won't be allowed to submit to reports. You have to be sure to check that box, even if you state in your report that you disclosed that, you still must check the little box. HTH

I always check the box. I have been submitting reports for over 2 years and have always checked the box.
I read the disclosure, and went through the whole thing where its says you have completed disclosure training, but still every time I click on report now it goes back to the disclosure training page.

You'll get invited to a campaigns. The invites show up on your homepage. You should also receive an email but it's best not to wait for the emails. The campaigns fill up really quick. Just keep an eye on this thread and start checking your bzz homepage when you see others getting new campaigns.

Also, be sure to fill out any and all surveys that show up on your homepage. They increase your chances of getting campaigns.

Right after you logon, you can always go to the bottom right hand part of the screen. You seen a gold box that says "My BzzCampaigns". It's the same place that lists your surveys. It will list any active campaigns you have. It will also list any invites you have to campaigns.

The invitations for the Aveeno campaign went out a long time ago. So unless they decide to send out more for some reason, you probably won't get invited to that one.

Don't give up and good luck! It might take awhile but hopefully new campaigns will start up soon!

i love when people bring up level 7. i used to bzz and report like crazy under the old system because it was voluntary and i liked moving up the list. Now there is not list as to high contributors (but there is for bzzscapes, which is curious) and there is NO transparency about the Level 7 we all have on our pages as the next destination.

What if I was bzzing a product that was billed as "fades age spots" but I know it will never deliver? Well, eventually people realize I'm plugging a fake and my integrity suffers. There is no difference than putting a carrot in front of level 6 faces only to find out the carrot is made of plastic and from toys r us.

Actually they didn't base levels on how many reward points you had... it was based on longevity with them and how much work it seemed you put into campaigns... I went into the new system as a level 6 and did NOT have tons of reward points.

When the points were first moved over in that one big dump of Bzz rewards points to MyPoints, yes, we had the use of them immediately. But once we started earning points for writing reports and other things, there is a hold put on them for 30 days (I think it's 30 days..) whatever it is, it is WAY too long of a time considering they are not being earned for something that needs to be verified.

OK, for everyone having the disclosure training problem, just go and submit using the BzzAgent Facebook Application. I did that shortly after posting, the report went through with no problem, and THEY ALREADY REVIEWED it!

If anyone has the Bic Soleil coupons to pass out still, Publix has the razors on sale this week, buy one get one, so for $5.49 you get 2 packs of them, and then you can use the $3.00 off coupon on top of that. Just wanted to share...not sure if this is posted elsewhere. HTH.

Aww... why does it have to be a campaign they've already done and I had the first time around... and I didn't even like it much. I would assume these repeat campaigns mean the companies involved were happy with the results though so that speaks well for Bzz and probably helps them when recruiting more business.
