This is a good idea OP. I get a lot of survey invites also plus you can start, stop and continue at a later time. Want to add, for those that may not know, that there may be surveys waiting when you log in, most are by email though. Points are credited instantly, which is nice, and cashing out doesn't require a large amount, Repped you.

and then suddenly I started qualifying for a lot more surveys. I have cashed out a few times this year. I always cash out when I meet the threshold (I am paranoid, LOL) but these guys are legit. Check comes pretty fast too.

Lately, my OP surveys link to other companies, which pretty much guarantee a DNQ. :(

They will email when they have a survey for you. Also when you log in it will say if you have any available surveys to do.

You have to update your profile and complete some...you get emails all the time as long as your profile is completly updated. I have a history of all the surveys I've tried and the ones I've completed. This site is just as fast for cashout as pinecone but you get much more invites. They don't close as much either...you have much more time to try and complete them...unlike surveyspot.

Oh you can cash out whenever you want....I usually wait til I get over 10.00 bucks but they still send checks if it is less than that.

I cashed out at 36.00 last week and am already up another 7.00 from this site...but does it normally take the 4-6 weeks to get a check, or does it normally come sooner? Thanks for any info. I frequently DQ for their surveys but have never had 7 in a row. I have mentioned in the general surveys thread, opinion outpost has definitely paid me the most of any survey company I am signed up with.

I like Opinion Outpost. I don't DQ qith them as often as I do with some of the others and they also don't make me go through 5 minutes of questions before they DQ me...That's what I hate about sites like TestSpin. It seems to me that they gather all the relevant info that they need, then DQ you...I'm sure they're still using my data.

True, my DQ were quick, that is likely the only reason I went through all of them today.. plus I was on a mission to see if I could qualify for anything. Guess today was not my day.

Most of my Opinon Outpost surveys go straight to OTX surveys lately, which I never qualify for.

Did the phone interview Wednesday night; not sure how long the points will take to show up in my account. Cashed out in mid-May and am already over $20 again.

Watch your email for "Short Survey from Opinion Outpost - 36010596"--it's for 10 points but at the end they ask would you be interested in participating in a 35 minute survey for $35. You have to enter your email address and phone number so the hosting survey company can contact you. Maybe they will call me :-)

I'm sure you are all right about it taking 4 weeks to get paid then. I had just called yesterday and the young guy who answered said it was one week for processing, and one week to get the check, but - I'm sure that maybe he was just being optimistic - regardless of whether it's one week, two weeks, three weeks or four - I LOVE this site. The money adds up so quickly and the survey's do not take as long as other surveys, and the money is immediately posted to your account.

This site has its ups and wons. sometimes you'll get lucky and make some nice money and other times you will have wasted your time. Months ago, the money would come in just 2 or 3 weeks. Now, you seem to have to wait almost 2 months before its sent out.

This site has its ups and wons. sometimes you'll get lucky and make some nice money and other times you will have wasted your time. Months ago, the money would come in just 2 or 3 weeks. Now, you seem to have to wait almost 2 months before its sent out.

This hasn't been my experience... maybe they ran a little behind with some of your checks, I typically have checks in hand in 3-4 weeks after requesting them, but I have definitely noticed 1 or 2 in the last 6 months taking more like 6 weeks. It could be a case of requesting a check right after they process a batch.

Just make sure all of your profiles are complete and you will get invited to a lot of surveys.

In my experience, OO surveys rarely lead to product tests or focus groups. I don't know what's the point of this thread :) .. should be merged with the main survey thread

Overall OO has been the best service for me. I did a survey where the email said 47 points but when I finished it they gave me 30- I emailed them and they added in 17 points to my account the next day.

I cashed out 6/2 and got my check today even though it says "in process" on my member page. That's the 1st time I've cashed out with them and I'm very impressed with how fast it is.

Wow, that sucks. That's happened to me on other survey sites (*cough*surveyspot*cough*), but never OO. And they've generally been good in responding to emails.

I always cash out after I earn enough for $5. That goes for all survey sites, not just OO. With this economy, these companies could fold at any time!! Better be safe than sorry :)

I have actually saved all my money in all my sites and have never cashed out.... I am not as consistant as I should be so there is not a ton of money there but I sort of see it as a savings account of sorts! I am at $49 for OO and at least $80 for SS..... :-)

the fear of a company going under gets me cashing out sometimes. Like if they do a site redesign, i'll cash out right then, lol.

I cash out instantly as well. You never know when something will happen, and I like to earn the 3-5% interest rate on the money, and have access to it anytime I need it as well.

You're nuts......people's accounts get frozen for no reason...I'd cash out, put the money in a savings account and save it that way...
I had $200 in a survey account and they claimed I had 2 accounts and would not pay me. It took me 3 months of an investigation and the help of Survey Police to get them to finally admit it was a computer glitch. There is no way I'd leave any money with anyone anymore!

I've also noticed a delay in payments, but I've also noticed that I've been cashing out more too. Maybe their business just has picked up recently and they are having problems adjusting.

I cashed out for a 100 on the 9/17 , I remember it saying it can take up to 12 weeks.

I like the checks, but I wish we had a paypal option. I'm waiting on around $70 dollars, spread out over 9 or 10 checks.

I had requested a check from OO in late August and still haven't received. Not complaining, but I just hope they send it out eventually. I would have liked a paypal option as well.

Still waiting on around $70. I've also got $12 not cashed out yet. Still getting surveys, but I'm not liking this delay at all.

When I used to do affiliate programs, there were a couple instances where they were "making changes" and the Big Change was that the company disappeared and I didn't get my money. :(

I'd write the rest of your name on the front, sign the back and deposit it. Shouldn't be a problem.

HEADS UP....I received several checks yesterday from Opinion Outpost. However they did not include the 2nd address line that lists my condo unit #. Good thing my mailman knows me well and was still able to deliver the checks, otherwise they would have been returned. If you have an apartment or condo # to your address, make sure you add it to the first line in My Account to ensure your checks get delivered correctly.

if anyone gets the holiday one which is directed to a different company where u have to upload two mini videos, you may get stuck after u upload the videos, if u have uploaded and it just keeps running, hit the refresh button, then hurry scroll to the bottom before the refresh is over and u can hit the forward arrow, only while the page is refreshing, the problem is was getting was after my video uploaded, the screen still said uploading and there was no arrow to go forward. hope that helps

Same here....a check i recieved yesterday now says sent on today.

I called them about recieving my check without my last name on it. They were very nice, said that they used to have to do each one and check it by hand but now they have a computer doing all the checks and that there is a few problems to get worked out.

Told me to tear up the check and he would send me a new one.

Opinion Outpost has been lately dry for me... got many high paying survey opportunities from via greenfield .. but DNQed most of them. Finally today, I qualified one for 16dollars.. was pretty long though.

3 checks came today from surveys taken earlier this month.

they don't usually ask me for my address again, I think they just assume that the address your checks will be sent to is (hopefully) valid.
