Anyone heard how recruiting is going to go this year? I haven't heard a thing.

Also, anyone know of any good deals on getting this bad boy?

someone posted some features that will be included in the game about a month ago. but of the listed features the only one i'm really excited about is online dynasty mode.

Recruiting has a similar interface to last year's, but from screenshots it appears that instead of manually selecting which pitches to give a recruit, you instead select the amount of time you wish to spend talking with that recruit and the CPU simulates it. This is both a +/- because if you knew what you were doing with NCAA 08 you could dominate the recruiting class (I got 18 out of the top 25 one year) , however it often took as much, if not more, time than actually playing the game.

Depending on how patient you are, there are a few deals. The best price was probably if you would have jumped on the 25% or 35% live cashback deal through ebay's "Buy it now" items. However it appears it is back down to 10% cashback, which is still not too shabby but with shipping fees you can probably do better through the web.

i agree with your thoughts on recruiting ... seems to be a double edged sword. I for one, was in the camp that it took way too long to recruit. I don't have the much time to dedicate to that part of the game. The way it was was FINE in my opinion. Minimal effort with decent results and you got the big haul at the end of the season. We'll see ... looking forward to it regardless.
