quick question. I have a potential ebay buyer interested in a wii but she would want it shipped to a different address as a gift. Is this safe to do. My gut tells me that I should only ship to the address on the paypal, but would appreciate a second opinion.

I got 15 Fit's yesterday from TRU, 9 Mario Karts from CC, and 15 Wii's from Sam's. Used the CC and BB coupons on wii plays, nunchucks and MarioKarts... in the end I beat AMZ prices by a bunch. We also have a supermarket that give points from GC purchases that you can use for money off your gas bill. So far 2 full tanks of gas for free and I am 1/2 way to a 3rd tank all for BB and TRU GC purchases. With gas at 4 bucks a gallon and I drive a Durango that burps every time I pass a gas station this is actually working for me.

The difference for this 3 extra consoles is that they shipped today (instead of the other 6 shipped yesterday), and they will be delivered in separate boxes each. I got to boxes of 3 each today.

This really gives me the confidence to keep improving my grabber program, I have nice new ideas for next week, I'll keep you all posted about them of course in case you still want to use it. I know there has been some issues of course after working on it for only a few hours but it will get better every week. They only problem is testing because there is only ine moment of thruth when everybody is stressing it to the max as well as amazon :lol:

He must know you got declared value on the package and wants a refund and then you to process a claim with fedex to recoup your loss. This lady sounds like the lady that ordered a Wii Fit then posted and thankfully removed (at my request) a 1-star review on Amazon saying "the disc wouldn't work with my VCR !". Try not to sound condescending but DO ASK HER if she inserted the disc correctly.;)

And I agree with WCD about it sounding fishy - I have never heard of a carrier admitting fault and yeah, how does this guy know something dropped on it?!? Sounds like a headache though. Any chance it was from a B&M store and she can exchange it herself?

Nintendo Wii has a known issue of disc loading. I have seen this issue in 1 out of 100 Wii's. It could be a genuine issue that she is trying to point out. But the FedEx explanation she is giving seems to be false. You can call FedEx and check with them to see if they give you the same reason. Also, you can give the buyer an option to get it exchanged from Nintendo using the warranty and if they dont agree, you have no option but to accept the package back for a full refund, because if they open a case with Paypal, Paypal will take away the amount from your account anyway.

Also as far as bearing the cost of this Wii, if you dont know from where you bought this, or dont have a receipt, if you have bought Wiis from Amazon in last 30 days, you can return any Wii back to them, they dont check Serial numbers, you will get back full refund from Amazon.Hi Guys..

This can NEVER happen, at least as far as I know. I use boxes from ULINE (which as you guys know are stronger than the ones from Target, Amazon, Best Buy etc.

OK, I called target for the nintendo wii wheel. The guy said they had none. I then asked for the wii fit and he said try back in the morning. So odds are they'll be selling tomorrow and get more later in the week.

This does make sense, especially because Meijer is based out of western Michigan, a very fundamentalist Christian type place. But also, running the specials on Saturday ensures they won't have to discount things in the weekly ad much further, because they will probably be sold out by then.

Went to three Targets today, all had somewhere in the range of 20-30 Consoles at open.

One had a single fit.

Used the $10 off of $100 on each purchase. Two locations tried to take the coupon, but I had them read the back where it says "Limit one offer per transaction" and then pointed out that it doesn't say anything about one time use or to confiscate it. That satisfied them, and at one store I got them to ring up a fit and wii play so I could use the coupon on one transaction, and then the console on it's own transaction.

Picked up 10 Wiis today. Could have bought more, but my credit's locked up with all the different things I'm selling. They were very easy today. Unfortunately I'll be on vacation during the Wii Fit run next week. None of the stores we went to had Wii Fits.

The two Targets I went to had about 20 or so consoles but no fits. Both said they had fits earlier in the week, maybe Thursday or so, but one store said they got in 2 and the other said like 10-15. I signed up for the redcard today and got 10% off the 3 consoles and 2 mario karts I managed to get. That was all the MKs they had.

Also went to two Best Buys. Got to one at opening and they had 2 consoles out and about 12 MK. Picked up another console there and two more MKs. The other BB across town didn't have anything by the time I got there. Nothing at the TRU and I didn't even try CC.

CC had 20 rock bands on the floor, only 1 moved before 1 pm


Rock bands everywhere, all Targets had better than 20 and ALL the clerks were complaining that it took up the back room. All reported NONE moved this morning.
One told me they got 24 on the truck Sat Night. I was on the fence on pre-ordering.. I am sort of happy I didn't.

Fit's of the 5 targets we hit.. 2 had Fit's, but only about 6-10 each, all gone within minutes of opening.

Most targets had the 1 per customer, until there was no one around.. then it was "how many do you want?" One gave me 4.

Mario Karts... BB had anywhere from a handful to one had 20.. got a handful there as well. They also hand about a dozen Rock bands.. they reported 1-2 sold by noon.

all Targets said FIT's next week, most told me that they already had about a dozen in the back room and expected 2-3 shipments during the week.

1st target I went to was only one with fits, guy said limit was 2. GF and I picked up 2 each and one console, next target was unsuccessful, went to best buy grabbed 3 mario karts each and 3 consoles, I went to another best buy got 3 more Mario Karts and 2 more consoles. So got 9 MKs, 7 Consoles, and 4 fits. I wanted more but im maxed out for the moment :(

Had some help today. Hit about 5 Targets. Got 26 consoles and 4 fits. 2 out of 10 Targets had fits. None had over 12 per store. This coming Sunday, I'm sure they'll go fast.

on a 1000 pt "reward" (ie 10% coupon in the mail) - you can use it on ONE day (as long as its on or before expiration day)...for that ENTIRE day :)

Actually when you apply for a credit card and are approved, the system will print a slip for 10% off. On the slip it states you can pick a day of your choice until the certificate expires and it has an expiration date at the bottom of the slip, which is 30 days from the day you apply your credit card. Took me 8 hrs, but I managed to snag 18 consoles from 17 stores today, as well as 2 fits and quite a few karts. This was on my own and marks a new personal record. 8 consoles were with 10% off + $5 off toy coupon, plus I believe I earned another 10% off shopping day with all my purchases :) Only a few Targets had wii fits out this morning and they were all sold out (of fits) by 9am.

CC had an unusually large amount of consoles today (or an unusually low amount of customers). I would not be surprised if they are still there tomorrow. Carnival games (with a free t-shirt) was on sale at CC for $29.99 and Game Party $14.99, plus you can take 10% off if you have the gamer's club card. Not the greatest of games, but I will save these for christmas bundles :)

BB had quite a few Mario Karts available...makes me wonder why amazon can't get a shipment like that?

Only one Target in town, and they had 30. Was there at opening, only 3 of us. I asked about the fit, and said something along the lines of "I know you guys are sworn to some sort of secrecy, but you've got a pile of fits in the back that you can't sell till next Sunday, and you're not even allowed to tell me that much, are you?" She simply replied "Nope, not allowed to tell you" as she smiled and said "See you next Sunday morning."

Went to three Targets today, all had somewhere in the range of 20-30 Consoles at open.

One had a single fit.

Used the $10 off of $100 on each purchase. Two locations tried to take the coupon, but I had them read the back where it says "Limit one offer per transaction" and then pointed out that it doesn't say anything about one time use or to confiscate it. That satisfied them, and at one store I got them to ring up a fit and wii play so I could use the coupon on one transaction, and then the console on it's own transaction.

Where did you get this coupon? I have been searching for a target coupon and can only find online ones. Also where did you'll get the $5 off toy coupon?

scan is gonna be hard, having the legit coupon might be more beneficial. The barcode part of the coupon says nothing in regards to what the coupon is for only the front of it does. So you would have to photoshop the coupon together.
