since self-promotion is not allowed and we have no way of verifying if it's your auction or not, please do not post any eBay auction links. this is a 4 point warning you do not want. - serra

Reseller FAQ (ask these questions in the forum and get smacked around!):
EBay Fees Calculator[I]
www.ebcalc.com
This is how eBay will calculate your Final Value Fee if your item sells for less than $1000 and you do not receive any special discount. Note that the FVF is based on the auction's ending price excluding any S&H Charges:
8.75% of the first $25 + 3.50% of the remaining amount exceeding $25
Example: Sale Price $400
FVF = (.0875 * $25.00) + (.035 * $375.00) = ($2.19) + ( $13.13) = $15.32
[I]Shipping Recommendations
Where can I get boxes to ship stuff on the cheap? Try Walmart (24 hour stores are great for this at 4am)! Go to your local grocery store also and ask them to save boxes for you. You can just buy 18x12x12 boxes for under $3 for your bundle. Packing peanuts are the lightest filler but are hard to find for free. If you want to order 25 or more boxes at a time, you can get them from uline.com for around $1.50 each with shipping.
The Nintendo Wii also fits perfectly into the boxes that hold several reams of paper. These boxes can be found for FREE at any bank, office supply store, library, and any other location that prints paper on a regular basis. These boxes are sturdy but light and also work well in shipping bundled items. Be aware that when claiming damage insurance on shipping, the quality of your packing will come into question - for $400-$500 an inspector will probably come look at the package, so it may be worth both positive feedback and insurance protection to use good boxes.
What size of box to get? Considering that Nintendo ships the Wii with no other padding, you shouldn't need much either. You will want your box to be crush proof which means having packing material fill throughout the empty spaces. The Wii will fit perfectly in a box with 15"Lx10"Hx6"D dimensions with 1" to spare on the depth. If you are going to pack a nunchuk you will need a minimum of 15x10x8, as they are thick. Staples sells a 15x12x10 box that fits the Wii perfect on two sides, or you can use the extra space for padding all around. 15x10x10 gives you lots of bundle space, but these must be ordered, you won't find them at B&M stores.
Which shipper is best FedEx Ground consistently has cheaper rates and faster shipping times in comparison to UPS Ground (however eBay does not automatically calculate rates for FedEx). USPS priority mail is a fast 2-3 days anywhere which will get you glowing feedback, but it does not have tracking. Signature delivery is required for PayPal seller protection on items above $250 (signature is also required for FedEx when it is declared value for $500+) - without signature, a PayPal dispute is ripped out of your account and gone forever. The total shipping price for anywhere in the USA 48 contiguous ranges from $12-$18 FedEx (bundle shipping more), depending on the distance. FedEx insurance has reported to only pay the cost of the items, whereas UPS may pay the full auction value.
When should I list my Wii?
You should use the completed auction search and make up your own mind from past results. The biggest problem is that there are usually are several listings ending every minute and you don't want that much competition, it's better to list at a time when more people might be bidding, and less might be listing new Wiis. Don't use scheduled auctions, list your item at a random time. If we told you when we list, then YOU'D be competition!
For research, www.terapeak.com (http://slickdeals.net/?sduid=305707&t=678154&u2=http://www.terapeak.com) provides the most complete information for FREE on any item on eBay. Be sure to filter out extra items such as accessories or games to more accurately view the data on selling the Nintendo Wii. Timing your listing also makes a large difference on increasing your profit margin, thus it is also important to adjust the website to fit your timezone.
What is the difference between a Dutch Auction and a Multiple Item Auction Listing?
A true Dutch Auction, which gets its name from the Tulip auctions in the Netherlands is an auction that starts with a really high asking price. The price is then lowered incrementally until one person bids to end the auction. These types of auctions are effective for selling high priced items. For eBay purposes, Dutch Auction is used to refer to Multiple Item Ascending Auctions (listings with 2 or more items) in which the price starts low, at say $0.99, and then is bid up incrementally, ending with one winner purchasing multiple units or multiple winners purchasing a single unit each. The term 'Dutch Auction' is used to refer to both the true Dutch auctions as well as Multiple Item Ascending Auctions, thus there is often some confusion amongst individuals when the term is used.
Where do I get Wiis to sell?
You'll be looking hard! Keep these discussions to the Wii availability thread, unless the discussion is reseller-specific for some reason.

Paypal reinstated me. Guess I didn't need to expedite all those packages.
To those that are panicking--you are dead wrong imo. These things sold out in 1-2 days. A lot predicted it will take until the weekend. Everyone who witnessed the wii hype is trying their hand at this. They will lose their ass..and be out of the game.
Its going exactly how I predicted it would a couple weeks ago..if it doesn't turn around, I'll eat crow.
Those of you chasing best match by going featured and free shipping and copying titles so that your listings look just like everyone else's, you shouldn't be shocked if your margins are slim..or if you lose
I witnessed the Wii hype and PS3 hype. This, is like the PS3 hype except the PS3 hype was maybe 20x more hyped and still plummeted after day one.

Yeah but why did it Plummet? Cause they were readily available on the shelves.
Only some people report continued success / slow moving Wii Fit from B&M standpoint.
Everywhere in my area (about 20 stores) is sold out, and the latest one went OOS at around 1:45 PM Yesterday.

Comparing the PS3 market to the Wii Fit market is like comparing apple and oranges. The PS3 had a price point that limited to whom it appealed to.
Wii Fit is a game and an accessory all in one for one of the hottest selling gaming systems ever, the Nintendo Wii, due to the Wii's marketability and appeal towards many different demographics.
It comes down to supply and demand.
So, as for supply. If Wii Fit was just a game, then sure I would agree that there wouldn't be a market, as you can easily mass produce the games. But, due to the fact that the Wii Fit also has the balance board, which is a functional component that takes more time to produce, I have to disagree. Also, since the item weighs about 10 lbs. and is rather bulky, retailers will be less likely to stock large quantities of it due to it taking up significant warehouse storage space as well as shelf space limitations in retail stores. Also, Nintendo uses a just in time system for its products, so it wouldn't flood the market with the product like it's competitors might.
As for demand. The U.S. has a craze for products that can help people lose weight. This is just the type of product that U.S. consumers love, plus it seems that this one might actually work, unlike most weight loss gimmicks. Furthermore, word of mouth will be this items best marketing tool, similar to how the Nintendo Wii took off. Plus, in most of major markets, this item has sold out at most major retailers in just a few hours midweek (Wednesday) with little fanfare. With growing demand, and limited supply, as Nintendo has been know to do, a perfect storm could be brewing for this product, which of course Nintendo is hoping for.
As for prices being down initially, this has happened with 99.5% of most popular items. When there is a dollar to be made, people will always try to make that buck. Preselling before a products release is where the most money is to be made. With most products, until demand increases substantially and there are supply issues with a product, you won't see a strong market.
You will see supply issues with the Wii Fit as well as a growing demand as the marketing starts to unroll, so just give the Wii Fit a little time before knocking down it's resale market...

I'm with you chi1sox currently on the status on WiiFit. Wait and see status. As for the PS3, my 2 cents, that was marketed to a gaming audience and it can't be compared to Wii Fit. I picked a 60 GB PS3 in November, shortly after it was launched, and couldn't move it. I couldn't sell it on CL and most people couldn't afford the price even though you couldn't get it-people are still waiting in hopes for a price cut to buy one. Wii Fit isn't a normal gamer's game launch, and if this thing catches fire with the yuppy, suburban soccer moms and the fat gamer kid that won't leave the house to play, you better look out. Hopefully hotels will want it, nursing homes and etc, etc.
After lightning striking twice with the Wii, I won't ever discount anything associated with it. I don't blame any of you loading up on the Wii Fits anticipating a huge market demand on these. Probably a very wise move. My thing is the timing of this sucker-who really wants to work out inside after the long Winter??

Funny you should mention that. I'm not sure if anyone caught this, but hotels have started to add Wii Fit along with nursing homes. Check it out. Factors that must happen for the price to increase
1. Retail Supply must remain dry for the next 2 weeks
2. Newbie ebayer with BIN prices of 130/fs or below must sold out threw the weekend
3. Best Match brings up the higher prices on page 1
4.memorial day weekend needs to passover, this is an outside/camping/getaway holiday.
The best scenerio Thursday of next week, that depends on no resupply and the monkey see monkey do low buy it nows are gone.
If the supply remains high of either newbies or retailers on wednesday, I would jump ship from ebay.

I've mentioned that more than a few of my sales were going to hospitals, hotels and health clubs.
The market, and the price point are why you can't compare the two.
And wait until more games come out that use the balance board. A 1080 snowboarding with the balance board would be huge...and the Fit portion becomes irrelevant like the Play in Wii play.

I witnessed the Wii hype and PS3 hype. This, is like the PS3 hype except the PS3 hype was maybe 20x more hyped and still plummeted after day one.
The difference is that noone really wanted the PS3, it had nothing that to suggest it could last for the long haul, it was more of the same. The Wii then stole its thunder over the course of a few weeks and snowballed from there.
Word of mouth+product actually delivering=real hype compared to manufactured hype of the PS3. The initial hype was a result of very little supply(140k PS3s available compared to 600k Wiis).
Again, I wanna reiterate. Hype has nothing to do with how the product will perform over the long term.
I decided to open a box last night, and I am one of the few skeptical ones about Wii Fit but let me tell you, this thing works.
With that said, I am on wait and see status as well. I can afford to sit on at least a hundred of these and still continue to make $10-$20 on each 14/4 bundle.

Correct the PS3 wasn't for the long haul, but the hype through the roof as is any console when it is first released. When you have nearly 1,000 people camping out overnight to grab one I would say that's a pretty good sign. When there are that many people one would think sales would hold up for at least one day after launch. All I was saying was that after the first day sales dropped dramatically.

Listings went down on ebay from 5800 wii fits to 4700 right now.
Give it 2-3 days and it will be down to 3000, I think the prices will go up to 160 on average or higher then.
Its just launch Bulk

Yup, again, it was because people, the general consumer did'nt really want it. Alot of the people who lined up was in it to resell them anyway.
It will still come down to supply+demand, and in the PS3's case, supply was a huge part of the equation of the resell market(there was too little of it) but the demand simple petered out, while the Wii's grew, and grew, and grew.
It helps that the PS3 was the successor of the PS2 the most successful system to date. I distinctly remember the resell market for the PS3 was beyond the roof, and the Wii's was alot more modest, but we all know who won in the end.
It is now a question of whether or not Wii Fit will deliver(and it does, oh so elegantly).

simple numbers: with about 10 million wiis out there in the usa right now...i'd estimate at least 30% of these people want to have the wii fit right now
3 million units is not physically possible even within the first year...only the wii itself is being produced at rates higher than this
with about 400,000 wiis being shipped to the usa every month...and still selling out...there is no way nintendo can keep up with the fit demand.

The comparison between the PS3 and Wii fit has one flaw; the PS3 is aiming at hard core gamers while the Wii fit is aiming at casual gamers. The shear number will justify the success of Wii fit.
Just a note, I just check amazon.co.uk for the wii fit, the only wii fit listed belongs to third party seller.

Nintendo is up to 600-700k per month in the USA now, which explains the softening Wii market.

I am rolling the dice. Just got back from Costco and bought out their remaining stock. Half pallet, 18 Wii Fits at 79.99 + tax per unit. I'll probably hold for awhile until next week or so and give it a try on CL this weekend. After checking out I rolled my flat bed of Wii Fits up to the hot dog stand to get a Dog and a Coke. The kid working the Hot Dog stand saw the Wii Fits and told me he was thinking about buying one for his mother who is disabled to exercise at the house. So who knows what this thing will do.:shake:

I don't do CL very much. There's this team of jerks that sells it super cheap that covers the whole Bay Area spamming the board every few hours. They are selling Wiis for $290 and Wii Fit for $130. They only get B&M stuff. How the heck do you sell something for $20 profit for the Wii with delivery? They were even selling Wiis for $280 at a low point.
I actually got 33 more yesterday from B&M and B&M pre-orders. I have customers that are willing to pay a pretty penny for these. I will keep buying them as I see them. Still waiting on stupid Target to ship. :shake: Not all my Amazons are here yet, but they will be tomorrow.

:shake: Not all my Amazons are here yet, but they will be tomorrow.

simple numbers: with about 10 million wiis out there in the usa right now...i'd estimate at least 30% of these people want to have the wii fit right now
3 million units is not physically possible even within the first year...only the wii itself is being produced at rates higher than this
with about 400,000 wiis being shipped to the usa every month...and still selling out...there is no way nintendo can keep up with the fit demand.
Odd I thought they already shipped 2 million wii fits

When I questioned Wii Fit being like PS3, let me clarify. I was referring strictly to everyone buying them up for resale initially, which in turn kills the resell market. Agreed that Wii Fit & PS3 themselves are completely different products, price points, and audiences.
Usually the things that have the most resale potential are the things that most don't think to resell until after the fact -- when they can't get them. On the midnight launches of Wii Fit, almost everyone I saw was a reseller...and not the intelligent-looking ones. The type of resellers destined for failure...bragging loudly "Ima gonna make me $100 each on the eBay." This scared me.
That continued through the early Target hours...but the later it got, the more I saw real buyers...lots of moms. This was a great sign, as the whole new audience we've been predicting came true.
So what do I think about Wii Fit overall? If this product truly works and good buzz gets going with low supply, the resell market will come. Give it awhile for the bulk of the resellers to fail and leave the market. It is now sold out everywhere in my area -- took 2 days. I'm sitting on a stockpile and still generally optimistic. I expect the Sunday relaunch at Target will be a better indicator of Wii Fit -- if there's a line and it sells out at open, then consumers may start driving the resell market.
One thing I'm still disappointed with is the buzz...I expected more headlines intially. But, I think the buzz will slowly grow much like Wii. Also, I haven't actually seen Wii Fit set up for people to try anywhere? This product looks like a gimmick without trying it, so in-store demo is important. I'm going to go open up my own Fit now to see what I think...

The buyer said that they were not happy and would like a refund. Should I give the refund or hold them to the deal even though I never specified a delivery

Yea, I gave four refunds and I shipped 3 of my own. Shipping cost me 18 dollars to a place that is only an hour or two away even though my detailed quote at Fedex said around 10. When you do refunds, they pull some money out of your account to match up the original payment. My question is does the buyer get a full refund or will there be a fee like normal Paypal transactions?

Great Job
It is Costco WHOLESALE correct?? I got a little grief from the cashier at first but I asked her if they gave the Liquor store owners a hard time about buying flat bed loads full of cigarettes? She told me no, that this was different, but let me on my way. Hopefully I won't have to return any of them.
It's not like I was loading up on rice-they limited the asian restaurant store owners to only so many per week. And I guess only 1 giant bag/member.

Well A) its strange they still had 17 in stock the day after the release considering it sold out around me in about 3 hours and the costco near me was doing 1 per person and soldout of 40 by noon. I was able to grab 12 at 1 sams yesterday at about 7:30 am. All wholesale stores like this specialize in sales to restaurants, gas stations etc etc.. So no reason to give grief to people who are buying liquor or cigarettes.

Im only sitting on 9--filled all pre-orders. But I imagine I'll be able to score something next week with a little luck...and the Targets have to ship eventually. Although I killed a lot of those orders when Paypal shut me down. Wished I kept them open. Although I may stikk have 40 on backorder.

Thanks ebay for being so generous and helping out us resellers that depend so heavily on you to have some cash. We already know that because of us, the reseller, and the Nintendo Wii, you have made millions allowing us to find a buyer for this item in another part of the country. For that we are very grateful. Okay, Ebay its time to take a step back and realize that A) we aren't stealing these items and B) we aren't picking them off trees. When I go in and calculate profit margin, in order for me to make 1 dollar off an item that I paid 95 dollars for, the item has to sell for 131 which includes Free shipping or charged shipping, something seems a bit off. Ebay your scheme of 15% off your already BS FVF/Listings fees/paypal fees on a 131 dollar item is .88 cents. Ebay, why don't instead of fckin your site up more and more, find the things that are necessary to advancing the company considering that you have already made it a living hell for sellers, why don't you enact something that keeps buyers accountable in regards to leaving feedback. If your site is going to operate on a feedback system explain how it works when i have 150 buyers who haven't left feedback, all of which have had emails sent directly to their email address, on items in the past 60 days and about 20 who have? Consider if I have 13 5 stars, 4 4 stars, 2 3 stars, 1 1 stars = 4.4/Demoted and you have to take into account buyers that leave 3 stars or 1 stars because they cant read and the listing clearly says you get 1 Wii Remote and 1 Wii Nunchuck, not 2 Wii Remotes?

No option to change anything with my orders either. The status says Shipping Soon. I'll be pissed if these end up shipping today after I already shipped my preorders myself yesterday. I could have waited another day to have Target drop-ship those orders. How do they postpone these orders one day, give an estimate of around July, then end up shipping them the very next day? Let's just say TRU and Walmart seem to have a lot of suppy online for some reason. I know they are sold out everywhere B&M, but they seem to be easier to get than the standalone Wiis online.

It's more like $10. Ebay instituted "Free" shipping so now all sales are a drag.
that goes right back into your gas tank, which it took to drive all over the place to get the fit.

Good for you. At least 1 CL sale for the Wii Fit. That 125 sale is the equivalent of selling it on the bay for 168 depending on how much you picked it up for.

I read somewhere that they had them up for a few minutes listed at $79.99. I guess it was a mistake. I called and asked for a price match and was denied. I then wrote a email saying that I know that they were that price at one time and they gave me a refund. Give it a shot

You can still get your FVF back though. Earlier this month I had a buyer who retured a Wii. I was able to get my FVF back though because when you start the dispute it will have a couple different options. One of them is that you and the buyer have agreed not to complete the transaction. Just send a message to the buyer and let them know you are filing the dispute to get your fees back. It is misleading because it is not really a dispute, just an agreement that you both have decided not to complete the transaction. Once they agree then you will be credited for the FVF.

Just asked Amazon for a price adjustment on my Wii Fits. We'll see how that goes. I stopped by Gamestop tonight, and was somewhat relieved to discover that the huge display they have saying Wii Fit in stock is full of empty boxes. I tried to score some shipping boxes from them, but no luck (they gave me my preorders in the boxes they ship in, and I found that one wii fit and some packing peanuts worked great in those.)

Can the buyer still leave feedback after a closed auction due to mutual cancellation? Was it okay to file mutual cancellation since I couldn't send the Fit without really asking the buyer? They did accept though, and one of them wants to leave negative feedback even though I already told him that I would compensate them with an extra ten dollars.

Amazon ships their Wii Fits in a box that is 21 x 14 x 4, which is about as small as you can go. All it has for packing is an inner cardboard sleeve.
Uline has the S-4546 box, which is 24 x 14 x 4.

Yes, much better to input your tracking number directly into the UPS tracking site. Once UPS receives the shipping information electronically from Target, they know which city it is shipping from, and they can give you a fairly accurate date on when it will be delivered based on your location.
On Target's site my estimated delivery date is July 29  , but when I input that same tracking number at the UPS site it shows that this package will be shipping from Eagan, MN and will be delivered May 28.

I hope the market picks up, just got confirmation Target has shipped 150 orders of my 170 and Walmart 202 of my 250. I have 33 orders of my 150 pre orders I still need to fulfill though. The 4 Walmarts that came in were in a HUGE BOX. Bigger than the boxes amazon sends with 3 wiis inside. I was hoping I could just slap a label on the box but I think the size to weight ratio will end up costing me an arm and a leg.....

Lol, all my amazon shipments were in a 25.5 x 15.5 x 6 IIRC. Not only were they knocking about pretty easily, but someone added insult to injury by putting some brown paper on top. It wasn't scrunched up or packed down the sides... just 1 sheet slightly larger than the fit just laying on top. I used amazon airbags from previous console orders to tighten the packages up.

Good thing I can return both in store. The market is going to pick up. Nobody has these and most places dont even have them on order. Costco has none in transit and same with BestBuy. Most Kmarts hardly had any on launch day so even if they get them in I dont see why they would get very many. Release day I think was the only day we could get more than 1 per person at a lot of stores. I went to one Walmart and they had 28 still in the boxes that hold two of them. I asked if there was a limit and they said I needed to talk to a manager. He said just leave him 4 so I walked out with 24 just from there. I doubt that will happen again. Yesterday there were 7k listings up now only around 5k.

Target confirmed...will probably be lots, but hopefully this batch gets eaten up by end-users rather than resellers. We need people to start using these things so that they can tell all their friends and drive demand. Amazon user reviews are surprisingly almost all 5 stars, which seems like good word of mouth should come. We really needed Oprah, but it seems like she would have done something right at launch rather than after the fact? :(

Featured listings are ending at 130+ now. If things stay dry for a week or two after Target tomorrow and Nintendo starts the multi million dollar marketing campaign I think the average eBay price will easily go up to 150.
In case people didn't notice, all eBay sellers now have access to the Seller Dashboard. It's on the left side under My Account.

I am on my third email expecting to get shot down again.. Has anyone tried the callback function on Amazon for this? I think it is a different group of CSR's.
I'm on my third email, too. Got a little nastier. I wonder how mean I'll get over $30. Probably not too mean as it's only $30, but since I can't even sell them at Amazon Marketplace anymore, every penny counts.
(Sales so far have been 122, 145, and 197 on ebay and 2 at 170 plus shipping on Amazon. The flaggers on my CL have no lives, so I haven't gotten a single bite there, except one lady who offered me $25  )
A question to all about return policies: Are we sure these have a long return policy? This isn't a console, and I thought a lot of video games were "no returns."

I must say that I am honored. I have seen two other eBay sellers copy my listing format for the Fit. Usually, I am the one lifting different ideas out of others' auctions. Must mean I'm doing something right.
I have a potential Fit sale here pending in the next half hour at $120 and the guy had no idea how much it cost-thought that price was how much it cost retail. It's a gift for someone and he was paranoid that it had to be brand new and I relented and told him that I got it at CostCo. Good thing I cleaned them out as he lives close to me and will probably hit CostCo before I meet with him at a local grocery store for the pick up.
Aw Saturday Wii sales are the best on CL-sell them the day before a new Sunday release somewhere. Brings me back to good times. Wish the consoles were still rolling like in January. :)

I heard Ellen had it on her talk show...my grandmother told me. She also said that she would like to have a wii just for the wii fit so I think the craze is taking over. She was the last person who would say she wants a wii & wii fit.

A very bad weekend to sell stuff on CL or at all on the Bay. People want to have fun in the sun this weekend. It may take a couple of weeks for the word of mouth on this thing to get around-hopefully, crosses fingers!

Things ARE picking up at least with Amazon Marketplace. I sold ZERO the last couple of days but literally sold 6 in 2.5 hrs for $164.95 + $3.99 S/H . My theory is that the people who had 2-3 and were willing to sell for less are finally OOS.

I met the person through CL.
About 10 months ago, this reseller responded to one of my Craigslist ad. I was asked how many I had, and I said four. She bought all four. Since then, most of the Wiis that I have purchased went directly to her. She would buy up to 8 at a time. Near the end of 2007, she was offering $350 per Wii.
If it weren't for her offering to buy as many Wii Fits as I could get for $110 each, I'd probably would have gotten 10 at the most.

Good for you Kim. Quick question, what's the % that Amazon takes? I know you've posted it before and I didn't catch it. The Amazon way seems to be much better then the bay and I love how you have the set price and can sell multiples Also don't have to worry about the buyer paying. Ebay users are hell bent on bidding on things-I'll never understand why people get into bidding wars when they can easily go the buy it now method at lower prices. :shake:
My 1 and only CL Fit sale just now was to a new Audi. It's almost status quo-sold consoles to tons of Audis and now onto the Fits.

Wasn't featured, obvious mistake... although you could debate the $10 spent for another $10 final auction, which also increases your fees another $.50 or so.
Still $12 profit w/ a single unit shipped prime amazon wii fit. That is with std no-sig shipping to an average location + paypal + ebay fees. Couple dollars less if shipping/packaging materials had to be purchased.
If someone payed tax or shipping on the unit, that brings is to probably $7 or so profit.
Take gas to kinkos/ups out of that if you don't have daily pickup... so lose another $2-5 depending on distance and vehicle.
Probably still profitable. Probably not worth it unless you are pushing 10+ units out a day.

Just explain the markup is due to the fact that it's near impossible to find these in stores right now. Amazon may force you to take the return, but you can charge a restocking fee, plus don't refund shipping obviously.
Hopefully the $20-30+ restocking fee hit, plus the cost of shipping it back with signature required (which could easily be $20-25+ if they don't ship items normally and just go to the store) would dissuade them from returning it.
Also, if they already opened it, I'm not sure what the guideline is on if you have to accept the return. When I sold a Wii Play at release last year, I told a buyer the restocking fee would be 20% (which Amazon's policy allows for media items) if returned new, or 30% if it's been opened. Never heard back from them again.

You have to accept a return for any reason for 30 days on Amazon, or they can file a claim. This can be particularly frustrating for reasons like Kim's buyer.
Anyway, all my area Targets did not have lines on Wednesday, so I can't wait to see if there are lines tomorrow. I'm hoping that each store accidentally already sold them from being in the previous week's ad, has lines and sells out instantly, or they have low quantities but a long line. Values will continue to surge if any of these things happen.
As for the person asking about Target having Wii's... My stores have had them in stock all week and they'll still be there tomorrow. Best Buy, TRU, and Gamestop (and probably Walmart) have had plenty in stock too as of yesterday. Wii market looks like it's done for awhile.

Thanks goes to everyone offering free shipping on Ebay and buying into it. Because you are offering free ship and I offer ship for $20 my lower price sticks out more and my total is higher with less fees payed to Fleebay.

Fedex makes me use Fedex Home Delivery no matter what usually or else it wont let me print out label and that costs about 10.98 for a 12 lb box.
press ship, do the address checker, then edit the address.
unclick residential, change from home to ground and save up to 3 bucks (depending on location)
then ship and print label as ground label.
I send ALL of mine at 9 or 10 lbs, all go ground and so far the cheapest was 6 bucks, the average is less than 9 bucks.

Maybe that's a way to make you think you're saving money, but FedEx is going to charge you later for the difference of each residential delivery that you used Ground for, correct?

Won't they charge you later since it weighs almost 12 pounds?!? I get the Ground vs Home selection but isn't the latter mail fraud?

Hehe, I'm just saying it doesn't hurt to buy when most stores give you 30 days for a return.

Can anyone confirm if there's any accuracy to any of this? No offense, dondk, I'm just curious if I'm overpaying...
FedEx weighs each package, so if you said it weighed 2 lbs, it doesn't really matter, as it's going to be billed back to your account as 12 once it gets weighed.
And as I said, If you specify a package as Ground when it should be Home Delivery, you're going to be billed a later surcharge of $2.30 or whatever it is. I have made a simple mistake where I sent something Ground instead of Home Delivery, and I saw a billing correction appear later for residential delivery.
Anyway, can any other veteran FedEx users comment on which is the case?

you gotta BELIEVE!!!
Btw, I am ticked about Target not having the Wii Fit as I got my 10% coupon in the mail yesterday and was planning a 40 mile radius "assault" but as a reseller, I'm somewhat relieved as this will DEFINITELY increase resell values f-a-s-t.

Yes, my statements show higher charges (than the online number) when they find a ground is residential.

re: Fed-EX Ground vs Home, website states following:
Can I ship packages to a residence with FedEx Ground?
Yes. FedEx Ground packages delivered to a residence will incur a fee of $3.25 per package. If the package is destined for a rural address, additional fees may also apply.

Know of any places where you can purchase 1500+ full page, plain white sticker labels (2 half-page labels per sheet) for cheap?
I purchased them on eBay before, but the seller just sent a case of UPS labels, and they cut off the UPS branding. If you look at the UPS terms, it says you agree to pay $100 in damages for each case of misuse of their free products, so I'll pass there.
So where's the definite cheap source for labels?

The target that is 5 mins away from me still has them in stock along with 2 other targets that are 30 mins away show limited availability. With all the horror stories of some people not breaking even, I'm hesitant to buy. I still have one left over from my amazon preorder. Just picking the right time to sell now.

Targets in my area have them in stock again this morning and I have about 10 stores to choose from within a 15 mile radius.. Saw the same thing yesterday morning..

Called 2 targets at 9am. One said they had 14 and now only have 2 and the other said they had 10 when they opened and are OOS now. It think this is a good sign because on release day Target by far had more than any other Retailer.

Not sure what's cheap to you, but I've bought small quantities of these before: (500 for $57)

so what would be cheaper fedex ground honestly done, ups ground or usps priority mail?

Shipping this any way but ground is going to run $18-20. USPS it costs $20. So they are down to $104.
Paypal fee is about $4 and ebay is also about $4. Now they are down to $96.00
If they bought it in the store for $89.99 plus tax you're looking at anywhere from $95-$97 total.
Made a buck. Awesome!
yep so far sucks, glad I kept my receipts, still too early to tell the key will be this Tuesday when people get back from work.

ship a wii via MM---get caught---and youre fu**ed.
A BALANCE BOARD IS NOT A MEDIA ITEM.
you've been warned.
and yes, ship fedex ground (home delivery for residential)
not only that but media mail can take a month. I know if I bought a Wii Fit today from Ebay and it showed up a month from now .I would neg, especially since sellers can`t neg back.

No, it wasn't drop-shipped. I always include the receipt for WARRANTY Purposes as well as courtesy in case it is defective, they can Exchange it. Why would you be mad though? Before I buy something, I research it to see what it's Retail price is and if it's a hard-to-find item. This is exactly like someone wanting to return a Wii at the height of its popularity b/c the invoice said $249 !!!

My shipping for sold units has averaged 8.91 (no packaging costs yet, home delivery on all but 1).
Ebay has averaged 16.87 per unit (obviously featured). Paypal another 4.66.
so you got to get at least $131.00 just to break even? something goes for over $40 dollars retail and you barely breakeven. something is wrong here?

It's because ebay made it so if you do "Free" shipping you get higher in the search results. If everyone just charged say $19.99 the margin would be much larger.
