Last time they were $1 they where included. The coupons are new barcoded. They don't say dnd anywhere on them. I think the girl had to manually enter them for me but she let them double.

That was a typo. I went yesterday to get some but there were "sorry" signs all over the place. The correct price is 1.99 each.

I just got back and had a pretty decent trip. I used the same Q last week. I scanned my card first, bought 13 capri suns and 40 hersheys bars and then scanned the gas coupon and then my coupons for the hersheys. My out of pocket was $19.xx. I did get the gas points and even checked my account went I got home. I thought it was a fluke so I did the same transaction a few days later and the 300 points showed up in my account. Maybe the card needs to be scanned first.

I'm confused by what the rule is, I thought maybe even if it was after sale prices, it'd be before coupons. I've been buying alot of mentos up2u packs and zone perfect bars, and I'm not getting the gas points for the coupon values. When I went yesterday, on a $30 subtotal (before coupons), I paid 3.69 after coupons, and got literally 3 gas points. My friend said that was strange. So I'm not sure what the deal is, as I don't usually try for gas points.

Oh alright, thanks. Do you know the difference between the refrigerated ones and the shelf stable ones.. seems like a stupid question, but when I was checking the ingredients last week, the only thing I saw was a list of "non dairy ingredients". Nothing that I could find mentioned milk (International delight brand) or any other actual dairy ingredient. I'd like to be able to use it at work if I can, and we don't have a fridge in my area of the building.

It could just be to check that you were using the right coupons for the right items. Or it could just be a genuine curiosity to couponing, or how you got such a low out of pocket for your transaction. Some people would be a bit embarrassed to ask outright I'd imagine... in any case I wouldn't worry too much about it. You don't have anything to hide or be embarrassed about. I do know that employees are still getting worried about losing their job over coupons. A woman at Walgreens recently told us a bunch of people got fired recently for taking coupons that scanned for a product, but didn't match exactly.. like a different scent or variety or something.

These were the refridgerated creamers not the powered ones on the shelf. The international Delights freeze well and they also have a very long expiration date...like months. We do go through a ton of creamer but I also give lots away. But for 1.67 - 1.50 (75/1 MQ doubled) for .17 IMO its a fantatic deal and I only buy at this price.

I think they are learning in that the new one by my house has 6 (3 small ones are on each side facing each other as opposed to 4-6 that are lined up w/ the regular checkouts) and there's an additional one that can be easily viewed for scan it orders. An employee stands in the middle; you'd think that the one is just there ready to help but I'd be willing to bet that he/she is watching.

But then, if they don't want something to scan automatically at a SCO, they should program it to not do so.

Regarding the ID creamers, yes you can freeze them, but also you can just keep them in the fridge and they are good LONG past the expiration date. I have used them even 4 months after they expired, no problems. Expiration dates are nothing more than recommendations and they are set by the manufacturers and they are usually VERY conservative. The FDA does not require them or endorse them (except on a few foods, like infant formula).

Yeah, they definitely need to be kept cold, either fridge or freezer or, hey, maybe even outside in a screened-in porch or garage depending on where you live! Not sure they would last too long if stored at room temp.

Can you still use coupons with them? How do you pay? I was surprised to see people using them; it sounds like people would not put items in their bag and steal them. I would like to use them if I get discounted offers....are the offers any good? Does anyone here use them?

I was going to get them but I'm not a foaming hand soap person (my mother in law buys it but I've never bought it. Got2Be hair care was marked at 4.99 sale in my store. I didn't scan it or buy it.
Softsoap: refills of the FOAMING raspberry something were discontinued and on sale at 2 something, maybe 2.24 each. I was going to get them but I'm not a foaming hand soap person (my mother in law buys it but I've never bought it. I was trying to figure out if if would foam correctly if I didn't have the original foaming pump. Anyway, then I saw that there were some $1.00 (10 for 10) pumps that were 50% more free so they were large enough (enough ounces) to use 40 cent coupons. Coupons didn't double but still came to 60 cents each. (there were cucumber melon pumps on sale for 84 cents (discontinued) but not large enough to use coupons). Wow, sorry for all the detail on the softsoap!
Used self check out but got no catalinas. Maybe machine wasn't working? Green light was on but not blinking. Shouldn't SOMETHING have printed? Even some nonsense ad?
Generally a good shopping trip. The instant savings things I did actually worked out today!

That is exactly what happened to me last night! The young chatty girl (who I try not going to) forgot to scan my card. Went to CS and they fixed it pretty quickly and doubled all the coupons that didn't double for my protein bars. Lukily as she was scanning the Q's I caught her and asked why the were not doubling. She didn't know.:confused:My fav FEM came over and told me to move to CS and she helped me.

We did it twice yesterday, and all , i had 10 and friend had 10coupons .75c double on a SC, we used two different cards no problem for both of us, two different SC stations. I also use 2 .55 Horizon milk and 6 .55 Fruitables , every and each coupon double.

I used all of my Starkist tuna $.50 Q's from the RP 1/1 at SCO at Giant and all doubled. However, some stores' SCOs do not read the long barcode yet.

If I remember right the q was good on 8.5 oz or larger. the sale is for 7.5 oz but with the 50% bonus the size goes to 11.25 oz and that worked for the q.

I used a handheld scanner and sco. So not really sure y. Also my store had the bonus size softsoap but new barcode wouldn't scan and fem didn't let them double so I returned those bad boys. Will have to try a different sns today

I guess I have to buy 6 to get the IS with coupons. If Ibuy 6 at $2.99, its 17.94-$3 IS, minus $3 coupons for total of $11.94 for 6 boxes or 1.99 a box. Seems like a lot more work and trouble for saving .25 a box however.

you can bring your receipt and your coupons to the CS to get your money back, that's what I usually do with the instant savings. Your case I believe you can use 1 $1 coupon, the final total is $10.98 before the $3 instant savings...

Not at my store for IS deals. They have a real geeky nerd who checks your items, checks your receipt, checks the ad etc etc. He will see its $10 purchase and its a no go. I would have to go their several times and waste more gas to figure out when he is off and hope another person would do it. Not worth it.

Other deals I can bring coupons and OYNO etc to front desk, but not if I have not spent the required amount after coupons.

On the front page? If I read it correctly it says "points". Not "gas points". And then somehow these points turn into a 5% OYNO coupon. It's magic, I suppose.

I think the marketing dept was so excited about the "pump it up" theme, they just kinda slid it through the NJ circulars. Regardless, enjoy your instant offs and your 5% OYNO, they are a much better deal than stupid gas points.

We have had the 5% for a long time. I never reach it. It's $300 for 5% off, but the $300 is after all coupons and other deductions. So for a couponer that could $600 or more in S&S talk.

We have had the 5% for a long time. I never reach it. It's $300 for 5% off, but the $300 is after all coupons and other deductions. So for a couponer that could $600 or more in S&S talk.

The reason is that bag discount was acting like a coupon and needing an item to attach to and if it could not find an item without a coupon then it would attach to an item with coupon and knock off the coupon. If you had just Kelloggs and nothing else then this means this has been fixed.

Open to anyone - i did this rebate last year and I'm a youngster. The limit of 5/household is per rebate year, so even though I did it last year with last year's form I can do it another 5 times this year - I called the number on the rebate form to confirm. Only UPC's, no receipts necessary. One rebate per envelope, though, just like you said.

it was this deal that just ended this past thursday. i bought them over the course of the wk at 3 stores in 4 days. you probably have gas points so don't know how good the deal was for you.

fyi- sr= shoprite which i don't believe you have in MA either but they go all the way to CT.

the q's don't expire until 5/20 so maybe another good deal will come around again, esp at stores that double.

Ah, you're right, I missed the 992. I wasn't looking at the family code. SCO people seem more knowledgeable at my store so I'd go with that too, except that my SCOs still don't read long barcodes and the Kellogg's coupons won't go through either :mad: At >3 coupons which don't go through they start getting suspicious at my store

From what I read elsewhere all you have listed have worked. Also reading some are buying multiples in one transaction and the $6 is coming off in multiples as well. I have not done it yet, but will try 8 in one transaction since there are so many reports its working. However if there is a glitch at my store, returning 4 is not as bad as returning 12 or so. Read one person did 16 and it worked fine at her store, but some forums have Giant and S&S combines ( not GiantPA) so you never know.

Bought 16 cereals (mix of already mentioned kinds) and all worked for the $6 off. On the boxes of 12 oz Rice Krispies were peelies for a free bag of M&Ms wyb 2 cereals. Also saw the boxes of Jello temptations were marked down as discontinued to $1.80. Makes for a great price if you have any of the .75 tearpads coupons that double. I was happy to get 10 boxes for $3. Used up the rest of my zone coupons that expire tomorrow but the price is back to $1.25.

Was just coming here to tell about the M&M peelies on Rice Krispies.(choice of 4 cereals) I don't know if you had a problem using them, but I did. I had coupons for everything. Cashier used free M&M coupons first and they came off the cereal. Then at the end, it wouldn't accept all my coupons and they took off the $3 coupons. It was a big mess, but FEM worked his magic. $13.68 for 12 boxes of cereal and 3 bags of M&M with extra 10% more (on sale $3) FREE! And sending in for rebate.I would go to cs with M&M coupons if I do it again.

For those who care, the Q for the buy twenty dollars of cottontails and get $5 OYNO is a STORE coupon. The Q for buying enfamil is a 992.

Just got back from a decent shopping trip. I got:
3 Aunt Jemima Waffles
1 Gallon of milk
1 red onion
1 red pepper
2 Oscar Meyer beef bologna (bogo)
10 simply juice (mix of cranberry, rasberry lemonade, and oj - didn't have apple juice)
2 containers of baking soda
bag of bagel "chunks"
2 lb bags of dough
package of pepporoni
package of Provalone Cheese
12 small cans of hunts sauce

Total was $21.61. Not bad as I had a few impulse buys without coupons - but pretty happy overall.

Just to confirm (even though I didn't get it) the Whole Wheat Barilla IS part of the 10 for $10 sale.

I'm not sure if others would agree but I thought this was a good deal:
I bought 9 packages of the chicken drumsticks / thighs which were $1.29/lb (most of my stores packages were in the $5-$6 range). They were part of the buy any 3 items save 40 cents/gallon gas deal. I threw in a package of rolls that I needed. I then used the Spend $50 and earn an extra 30 cents per gallon coupon on the back of my flyer. My total was $53.36. I earned a total of 1500 gas points. My DH's truck holds around 26 gallons of gas so this should net a $39.00savings.
$53.36 - $39.00 = $14.36 for 9 packages of chicken thigh/drumsticks (approx 39 lbs) and a package of rolls. My freezer is now stocked !!!!
I hope someone else is able to take advantage of this deal.

So I got 4.
2 came off for the bogo. and I DID see the $5 savings show up on the screen so just over $6 for 4 things of Edy's.
Now that Im looking at my reciept I DONT see the $5 savings so Im thinking it was added back on when I used some coupons on some other things. But... Im going to try it tomorrow with JUST the 4 Edy's and see what happens. I had about $40 worth of groceries so Im thinking it was added back on and I just wasnt paying as much attention after everything was totalled.
For that price I will definately stock up on Ice Cream that is a fav. at this house.

Unfortunately if it's an instant savings deal you have to meet the spending threshold after all coupons and discounts so it probably was added back on to your order. If they were BOGO free I think you'd need to get 8 to meet the $20 requirement.

I am KICKING myself for not seeing that deal until like midnight last night!! Do they run promos for the little bottles often? My coupons expire 4/30. I'd wanted to stock up on OJ, but both store nears me were pretty much cleared out. :mad: Shame b/c it's the only OJ DH will drink. Picked up some other varieties for the kiddos though, they aren't picky. :)

The smaller size (13 oz?) containers of the juice are $1 this week. There are $0.50/1 Qs in the current Walgreens 'Diabetes & You' mag that will double to make them free. There is a digital version of this mag on their website that has the Q in pdf form...:woot: :D

Tell me about it. Thankfully this is my "early" week, so I'm off the train by 5:30, so I can go back out to shop after dinner, putting the kids to bed, etc, so about 7:30-8. I have two S&S close enough, but I sorta cleared the good stuff out tonight. :O Would go to to some neighboring ones, but my wakeup is 4:30am and would hate to be out all late.

I thought the Kraft cat was "buy 4, get $3 back," did something change? Also, I bought 5 philly bricks regular cream cheese and received a $4 Kraft cat and a $3 Philly cat. If you wait until Friday, buy them when they are only $1.99ea (for the tubs), then they'll be .60/ea without coupons.

Can you look at your cracker barrel cheese packages and see if they have the regular long barcode (5 digit manu code followed by 5 digit product code) or if they have a short barcode. We were discussing this in the Giant thread because graybay also bought 4 CB cheese and got a $2 CAT but she should have received a $3 CAT. She looked at her packages and 3 of them had the regular barcode and 1 had a new shorter barcode, so we were speculating that maybe the ones with the short barcode are not counting for the CAT. But it is also possible that S&S/Giant has a different Kraft CAT deal than other stores.

that's odd, as 3 of mine have the short bar code (2 are sliced packages, 7 ounces each, very sharp and extra sharp cheddar; 1 is a bar of aged reserve) and one has the long bar code (mild cheddar). i just assumed it was b/c of they way they rang on the receipt, 2 as CR BRL CUT items, 1 as KRAFT CB and one as AGED CHEDDAR (no kraft or CB); so i thought the Aged Cheddar was the culprit. either way, i was still happy to get them at the price that i did ;).
maybe graybay got an aged cheddar or something that did not ring up as Kraft or CB. the mysteries of CATalina shopping....good luck tonight :)
