I am still searching for the benefiber...does anyone have a pic of the display? Searched all over the H&B section today and the water aisle. My coupons expire soon....was hoping to use them.
I found them on a end cap near the pharmacy.

It beeped ...but they gave me credit for $6. You should take the whole page in with you because the redemption is in gray & difficult to read. I wonder if this was planned by Tena because you can hardly read the redemption. It was still worth it to me to stand my ground on the coupon offer to get the $18.00 in Overage.
If you right-click on the coupon and chose "View Image" it will show up much more legible for printing. I also took one of the full email as backup.

You're right. The second code that would have the $amount in code, is 40000, so probably beeps for amount?
Do they really have Tena items for $2.86 or so? Would still be nice to get freebies, but it does expire 1/31. I usually only use one at a time of coupons like this, that don't have unique pin numbers, etc. Curious to see if it scans and how they deal with it.
The barcodes are REALLY close together, I can't see them scanning at all unless they fold the Q in the tiny space between them. I am sure that if they punch it in manually, it will go through. I have no clue why they placed the barcodes that close, it makes scanning virtually impossible.
Has anyone found any Enfamil for $4.77? I looked but there wasn't even a place for $4.77 Enfamil. I believe the cheapest was $8.77. Could they be located somewhere other than the formula aisle? I needed to get formula for my daughter. Thanks.
Look at the absolute bottom shelf in the locked case. That's where they are in my SWM. HTH!

Locked case? They only lock up spray paint in SoCal! Where is the locked case located? I shopped every aisle in the baby department but didn't see a locked case. There were two aisles of formula just sitting on the shelf. Thanks.

:wave2: I'm new here
sure I was brought on by the hope of some nice overage w/ this Tena IP.
I do understand it says "up to" and thus no overage so I am not looking for that.
I would really appreciate someone's help in telling me if there is an underwear kind that would be close to $6 (even a couple $ over is fine) and comparable to depends for my grandma to use. Just trying to expand the savings in the family.
Thanks!!!!

You can go to wags and pick up the depends fit kits. These are sample packs with 3 different sizes. Inside the pack is a coupon for $3 on any depends. The 3 packs are under $3. Depending on your tax rate continuing to roll the coupons by buying more could be a great deal. I know I have picked up a rather large amount for a family friend and she just gives the size she can't use to another friend.

And to add to that - you might have to instruct the cashier to adjust the item up to $3 or the coupon down to $2.49. Sometimes they are clueless. If they are clueless, they will call the manager, who might be even more clueless...

This RP insert with this coupon also has shows on a different page the 3oz as .97 and to look for the $1 coupon in this insert and this ad takes up the whole entire page. So it's like they're advocating using a $1 coupon on a .97 item. Didn't you'll see it? or is it just in my RP?

My Tena coupon (as in one) would not scan. Waited forever for a manager after cashier told me I could not use a $6 coupon on a $5.64 item. CSM came over waiving the coupon at me stating "We can't take this! It is FRAUDULENT!"
I told her she is well within her rights to decline a coupon that won't scan - but she better re-think accusing me of passing fraudulent coupons in front of other customers.
She told me I misunderstood. Luckily I was on the phone with my friend during my long wait time. I asked my friend what she heard. CSM started being real nice....
Still going to email corporate. Employees should not be using the F word when they are talking to me.
ETA- Read on another site that people have called Tena and Tena told them the coupon does not work at Walmart.
I am not entirely happy with Tena either....

I took the bull by the horns on this Q. I spoke to the CSM before I used a few and showed them it from my email on my phone. They signed off on it, and that was it.
BTW, if you decide to use it tomorrow, it does say: "Print this page and present it to any participating retailer to redeem your FREE Tena trial." If it's free, the it can only be for an item $6 or less, no?

Has anyone had a coupon auto-adjust down to the price of an item? I had a coupon that asked the cashier to input the amount this past weekend. When she did it flashed something like "coupon value too much" (something along those lines), then auto-adjusted down to the price of the item. Free is free and the overage wouldn't be much after taxes, so I am not really complaining. I just thought it was weird. This was the first time I've seen that happen and was wondering if anyone else has experienced it.

Basically the same thing happened to me. Cashier said she could not take it if it won't scan since it's an IP. Manager came over and said they can't take them because they are duplicates (?) after a little back and forth I announced loudly that if he was going to accuse me of fraud in a public place, then he would be responsible for the consequences. I'm just waiting for the day that one of these guys pushes me over the edge on this issue, because accusing me of fraud is not something these people should be allowed to do. Stores need to teach their employees (and especially managers) a better way to act in those situations.
Was looking forward to actually getting O, but not this time I guess!

Was it the only thing you were buying?
I had a coupon that should have given overage do that a few weeks ago. Long bar code and the Q did say no cash back. Once I added another item it allowed the cashier to input the entire amount so I had a small OOP over and above tax rather than only paying a few cents.

Hate Walmart right now. Two days ago would accept my return of recalled Gas-X. Today I was told they wouldn't accept the Excedrin since I didn't have a receipt. Who would keep a receipt for a year just in case the product was recalled in the future? Crazy. this is in Austin, Tx
It shouldn't be processed as a return - it's a recall. I would try again and tell them it's a recalled product, not a return, and therefore does not require a receipt.

By the way, I don't consider 3oz to be trial or travel size. 1oz, maybe 2oz, but not 3oz.

That is good information to know. With all the debates about whether "no cash back" means no overage - or whether it means (what is says) "No CASH back" - It is interesting that the extra value of the coupon attached to the other item.
So I guess no cash back means no cash back.

I only had 4 Breathe Right coupons with me and I found 5. Had one of the managers scan it to see if there were any in back, and he told me that there were 2, 'would you like me to get them?'. Not now, thanks. I had 4 in my cart and left 1 on hang strip, so I don't know if the gun is supposed to show how many IN store, or how many not displayed. Also asked him when more were coming in, and he told me that it shows none to be coming in. Forgot the exact wording, but sounded like they couldn't reorder.
And I ordered coupons this am....
No $.97 VIC to be found. No space on shelf with lotions nor any in trial/travel section.
And I ordered coupons this am.
Good thing I didn't order alot of coupons of either.
I did, for the very first time, find the clear Duck packaging tape. Coupons expired today, so was glad to be able to use last of my coupons on the clear tape.
Duck Utility (gray) tape went up from $1 to $1.27 here in the past week.
No Oral B Floss, 'its on the truck, come back tomorrow nite'....This batch of coupons expires today. oh well. Ordered more of the ones exp 2.29.
One cashier told me they've cut most peoples hours. She was thrilled to get 32 hours scheduled for this week. Keeping them part time. Said schedule varies, can be mornings one day, and nights the next. One day she was scheduled for 2hours. And she takes the bus!
Christmas is still 75%. Those that scan properly, that is. Halloween and Fall, not coming up reduced at all, have to get cashier to adjust. Tons of Dial Halloween hand soap. Has big red sticker on it for $2.47. Even at 75% off, thats .62, too much for some old soap. If there was a coupon, even for 20cents off, I'd consider it. I think you can rip off the plastic Halloween decor sleeve.
So many things that aren't holiday and don't scan reduced in the Clearance aisle. Is it the Udder cream (?) in white short fat jar with black cow spots, whole display of them on shelf. Forget what else.
Couple racks of clearance clothes(womens dept and childrens), but from last summer!
$7 or $9 for pair of shorts or tops isn't much off.

Does anyone know the price of the VIC "Intensive Rescue" 3oz? There is a separate $1 off coupon for that next to the one we've been discussing.
thanx!
By the way, I don't consider 3oz to be trial or travel size. 1oz, maybe 2oz, but not 3oz.
CVS and Wag's have their own ~3oz size lotions, as do other brands.
I think it was around $2.97 but I can't be 100% sure. The Vaseline area was a jumbled mess today.
Thanks for reply, jenni! That was the only small VIC lotion I saw today. None of the others for the other coupon. Yes, it is $2.97 or so. Its a short, fat tube, where the .97 ones are taller thinner tubes. But, there weren't any and no space for them either! Wonder if some stores just don't carry??:O

Does anyone know the lowest price for Enfamil Infant formula 32 oz anywhere? I saw them @ Walmart and Target for $6.76. I couldn't find the one for $4.77? What size is that?
I heard that some peeps got some kind of 8 oz. Enfamil Infant Formula Concentrated Liquid for the $4.77 price. But for me, at my Walmart here, the $4.77 price is for the 13 fluid oz.

I found Colgate's Travel Toothbrushes in two bins on an end cap. They were all Soft Head. I opened one when I got home - these are perfect for home, not just travel.
Details: Folds for convenience. On-the-go toothbrush for your travel, sports and work needs. Convenience: the brush folds into a compact size that is easy to carry. Protection: a cover flips over the folded brush to keep bristles clean wherever you go.

My walmart had a Huge bin of these and normal colgate toothbrushes for that same price. Probably over 500+ of them. I was using the 75 cent coupons on them (4) at a time and I forgot they expired so I'm trying to find some new ones now :(

Well I picked up my order for 60 Ky Jelly today. It went well because my Walmarts scan the new gs1 barcodes. Though it was a bit tiresome doing 15 transactions because of the limit of 4MQ's. Each transaction was -$.02 so I added an additional item to the fist 14 transactions so I wouldn't have to deal with the CSM 15 times. I picked up some $2.84 Tena pantiliners, $5.84 Tena Pads, and $4.97 Tena Wash Cream with the Tena IP's so it was worth it on the last transaction.

The space between Christmas/New Years and summer is a slump for retail. Other than resets for new products there isn't much for sales and customers, especially with weather still being cold in many places.
I have 24 hrs scheduled most weeks these days, even being new I am one of 4 people trained for the grocery section of my Target. I have 5 days of work 4.5-5.5 each on average. Luckily I can pick up hours for just about anything in the store so I normally end up with 30+ hours.
I won't come in for less than 4hrs though, as I live 30mins away and have to wait for DH to get out of work (we share a car) for 3hrs if its a closing shift....
WM and T both keep just about everyone part time. Why pay well and schedule 40hrs when you can schedule 32hrs?

i was wondering about this b/c when i was a retail mgr in new york the minimum scheduled shift was 4hrs. i know each state is different but still.....unfortunately in new jersey the minimum they are required to pay is 1 hour.
NJ State Wage and Hour Laws and Regulations
12:56-5.5 Reporting for work
(a) An employee who by request of the employer reports for duty on any day shall be paid for at least one hour at the applicable wage rate, except as provided in (b) below.

thanks governor christie! (sarcasm!)
it was really hard to find the actual law code but it's still 4hrs in new york state. and don't believe any of those post a question websites. they all got it wrong. when in doubt, read the actual legal code.
STATE OF NEW YORK DEPARTMENT OF LABOR
Minimum Wage Order for Miscellaneous Industries and Occupations
Part 142 of Title 12 of Official Compilation of Codes, Rules and Regulations
Effective July 24, 2009
§ 142-2.3 Call-in pay. An employee who by request or permission of the employer reports for work on any day shall be paid for at least four hours, or the number of hours in the regularly scheduled shift, whichever is less, at the basic minimum hourly wage.

Tried another WM last night to see if the Tena Q would work (or get pushed through). This WM (like the last one) would not push it through (which I was "fine" with, since I think that's within their right to choose not to do), but this WM also stated that I could not use the 6 of them anyway because I can only use two IPs (the other WM actually said only 1).
I questioned further and the team of cashiers that surrounded me, plus the "shift manager", stated that because you can only print 2 IPs that I can only use 2 IPs by the terms. I questioned as to where that was in the WM Q policy, and was told that it's the policy when you print them and that WM honors that -- so I questioned more as to what they would do if I had more than 2 because of either multiple computers and/or stuff like on FB where the Manu often let's you print more than 2 and they stated that 2 is the limit because the rest of that is "gaming the system and you can only print 2."
Things got pretty ridiculous when I said something like "so if I came in with 5 copies of a Q for these mentos, you'd only let me use 2" and then the manager went crazy saying that you can't use "copies" of coupons at all (I feel like she was just being difficult at that time, and since I didn't have any Qs to use anyway, I just left).
So... uh... advice on what to do here? Should I start the process of trying to educate these guys or just wait until I actually get shut down on using the Q -- I'm not sure they'd do anything since I wasn't really denied the use of any Q that they should have taken -- but it shows that I'm going to have a problem in the future.

The store that I prefer to go to is trained reasonably well, at least management is. Training doesn't seem like it has ever been passed on to cashiers because I will inevitably have a cashier that insists I can't use this on that. It happened just a couple of days ago with the Breathe Right coupon, but the manager comes over and tells the cashier to do it.
Going to any other Walmart in the area is just a total crapshoot and I usually roll a 7.

Its been one like IP here for some time. They have a memo from someone they show me when I fight it....especially when they try to say its one IP not just one like IP. The problem is without all IPs having unique security codes its their only way to cover their butts. Think of all the Tena IPs people have said they used just here. Now imagine they were the fradulent $9 Tide IP. Stores like RA where they will take loads of IPs so long as they scan got hit for thousands and had cleared shelves near me from that coupon. WM would have limited their impact with their rules. Its frustrating, it takes longer to buy what you want, but I can see where its a good choice for them to protect themselves. Anybody can clear a shelf with a handful of IPs in one trip.. But how many will do it one IP per trip?

Question for the Walmart experts here about returning without a receipt -
Does the "3 returns in a 45 day period" mean you can return only 3 items in that period without a receipt or 3 returns no matter how many items each return has?
Also, are there any exclusions?
I ask because my mom has a bunch of bottles of body wash that she doesn't like. I was thinking a no receipt return would be a good way to get rid of the stuff she hates and get her the kind she likes.
TIA!

A really big :thanks: to the Q shopper who was caught abusing the hell out of Walmarts PM policy of not requiring the ad be shown. The CSM/Managers are on to your trick of telling the cashier prices are A) lower than the really are, B) on items that aren't covered by the ad and C) not even in a ad that week.
I guess you and your kids can shop somewhere else and try your scams there.

There were reports of it scanning at other places and for some reason only not scanning at WM. I tried 3 WMs and they would not scan at any of them. I asked about pushing it through and it was a no go, although some people had WMs that would do it.
I have an appointment next to a WM tonight, so I'll probably take 1 in and see if it works tonight, but I presume we'll get reports from somebody before them. Need to make up the money I am losing in the market today :)

I was afraid to post AGAIN that it was available. Thanks for posting. I printed it last night and it is much clearer. I'm going out this afternoon & report back whether it scans or not. My Sister & I called and complained about the bar code not scanning at walmart & walgreens on Tuesday.

It scans at publix for sure and I saw a lady using them at target. IT was funny because she was arguing with 3 target employees that one per purchase does not mean you have to do them one at a time lol so I went up and explained it to the employees also. Apparently an older lady also told them about how to read a dang coupon so they finally decided maybe they were the ones in the wrong after all. Unbelievable how target refuses to teach their employees how to coupon.

Did the register prompt for price at T? TIA
Can't agree with you more about Target not training their employees the difference between "per transaction vs per purchase". Had that experience yesterday trying to redeem 4 coupons. Cashier said one per transaction but if register takes them, blah blah blah..

Not sure how much at target because I saw her in line with the entire shelf of tena in her cart lol. I have gone to 3 publix and 2 of them put in $7 and the other one put in $5.19. The lack of a place to put the price and the fact that tena will pay the full $7 without a place to put the price made it easy. I used the overage on groceries so they did not mind.

Alright. Thanks for the info! Appreciate it. :)
And someone mentioned that a clearance event is starting this friday - yep, just saw a commercial. "Walmart red balloon clearance event starts this friday!"
50% off winter clothing, toys and more.
Sounds like something worth checking out!
I mentioned this a few days ago and I can't believe people aren't talking about it. I usually only hit Walmart for the freebies or MM but there are some toys overly priced on clearance that I would like to have for 50% off.

I was at our WM tonight, and outdoor accessories (hats, mittens, etc) were already marked and scanning at 50% off. There is a LOT of clearance, so should be a great time tomorrow!

I purchased Tena pantiliners ($5.24) and wash cream ($4.97) using the $7 IP. After scanning the coupon, register prompt for price so cashier input $7, hit enter and register beeps and on the screen shows "amount too large for coupon/item" or something like that. He then hit enter/clear/ or something and it took off $5.24. Second coupon also took off the same amount $5.24 instead of $4.97.

It looks like reports are already in, but I did hit that WM (and 2 others) and bought 2 of the Tenas and some other stuff and at all three they would not do the overage. I thought that the discussion last week eventually lead to the conclusion that even though it says "up to" that WM's policy would be to give overage here. Regardless, nobody would do it. I did have one cashier that was nice enough to make an exception for me and let me get two of the coupons on the same transaction, even though the coupon said one per "purchase" GIANT ROLLS EYES SMILIE THAT IS BARFING AND THE BARF IS BARFING MORE BARF -- I tried to explain to her that she wasn't doing me any favors and explain the difference but she wasn't having any of it because she's clearly smarter than me...
Tried at target and the Yes to Carrots were denied because it says WM on it and the Tena was denied because they can't take paper coupons... I have no idea what that means, but I decided I was just going to call it a day and go to Wags and get some choco marshmellow filler before I jumped off a roof.

this happens to me all the time. especially when i first log in in the morning and when doing my first post of the day. i've had to backpage, copy and paste into a new reply box to keep from losing what i wrote but i still get unlucky sometimes and just lose it.
i think it happens when pages don't load right away. i think somehow it loses the log-in when you try to go to another page or post something. i also have lots of problems w/ yahoo. pages won't delete, messages don't get sent, etc. happens on 2 different computers so it's not the computer.
on the other hand, somehow my dh can always stay logged in to sd.

No I have DirectTV and this never happened. First time I had 2 browsers (Firefox and IE) open and logged into SD on both browsers so not sure if having both browsers open cause this problem. Yep, it would logged me out after posting a comment or replying to one. Log in again and clicking on another page log me out again. I usually only log in through IE for SD and don't recall why I also log in to Firefox. Right now I'm using Firefox and hasn't seen anything funky yet. Thanks for a possible explanation.

The Tena Q's (the "up to" $6 or $7), either one, doesn't matter ... do NOT auto deduct at $6 or $7. They do beep for manual input of the price from the cashier.
Unless the cashier is an idiot, they will check the register tape and then enter the price. Forcing the coupon through at $6 or $7 could cost them their job.
If you can use the Tena products, then this is an awesome deal. FREE!!!!! If you are using the coupons to get overage, please be aware that it is NOT automatic and you shouldn't push the issue if the cashier balks at the idea.
If free isn't good enough, I highly suggest you move on to the next deal.

Yep I pointed this out to the poster of the $6 IP. If the new IP were actually a $7 coupon it would be coded 68 NOT 00.
I applaud you using your savings skills to donate, however, the IP is for UP TO $6 not for $6. Using it in any other manner is not correct and should not be boasted about.
The coupon is coded 00 for manual input of the selling price of the item UP TO the limit.
A coupon for $6 OFF would be coded 72.

I still can't believe WM and T are taking the Tena Qs as they are internet freebies. Nobody up here will touch one of those for the most part. Not drugstores, grocery stores or the big box stores.....if its free and I can print it out its useless to me. :(

I've been meaning to post this info concerning the Tena Qs.
The value field of both Qs is OO, meaning it requires a manual input. I believe that if it was meant to only be input for the price of the item, the value field would be 01 AND there would be a place to write the price of them item. There is not. I post this in direct (yet respectful) opposition to what another poster has said only to give members all the information to be able to make their own decision. Rite Aid and some other stores don't allow IPs over $5, so I personally believe that this is one reason why it was not coded as a 68. I also believe that it is because more people can get free items easier this way than if it was coded that way as well. Overage is something that I won't get into because some say tomato while others say tomato and we could go back and forth on both sides.
The $6 didn't scan for NOTHING, I tell you, but the $7 did, prompting for price (at WM).

The majority of Tena's items are over the amount of the $6 and $7 Qs and they do not know what they are used on, so I do believe that they will reimburse the full amount. All they tend to care about in the coupon redemption process is that the store has the inventory to cover the coupons sent in. I hope that answers the question.

I like to know everything so that if there is a coupon that won't scan or it beeps, I can tell them why to quell their fears. I get in touch with the necessary people so we can chat about things and I can know how they feel because more times than not, the SM and DM have a MUCH different ways of seeing things than CSMs and AMs. I don't just do it for myself. I know I can speak up, but not all can. So I try to teach the employees at each store so baby couponers can have an easier time of things.

I just got very frustrated at Walmart. I had coupons for ANY Schick disposable razor, $2/1. I got the $1.97 packs. The coupon beeped "no match" or something similar and the cashier went to ask a manager about it, remarking that they were told "something about these." The manager came over and said they couldn't take it on those packs because it wasn't pictured on the coupon. I said, "Cover Girl puts out $1/1 on ANY item. They can't possibly put every item on there. It's for ANY Cover Girl just like this is for ANY Schick." I tried visual aids, pointing to the words on the coupon then pointing to the words on the package, but no good. "The store won't get paid because it won't scan." She agreed that no, Cover Girl can't put every item on there, but this was only for the razors pictured and that's what they meant.
I understand there was some kerfluffle with a Schick coupon, but clearly, these said ANY and the package said "Schick Disposable Razors," and I don't remember what the issue was or the outcome, but I seem to recall it was a much higher value coupon in question at the time. I think what happened was they were told about the other coupon and were confusing it with this one.
I have no idea why I keep going back to Walmart when I leave frustrated every time. :(

I completely disagree. :nono2: As with the old Rolaids coupon from long ago, that was "Up to $4 off 2," if there is no space to write in the price AND the coupon says the retailer will be reimbursed for face value, then $7 should be given. And I will explain/argue that at stores where the policy allows printables such as this. (Commy!)
I don't want to cost anyone their job but I also am sick of the idea of "intent." I don't give a rat's patootie about intent. I go by the wording on the coupon.

While the lawyer in me agrees with your interpretation and further would argue that since neither you, I, nor anyone else on this board had any input into the draft of either the coupon terms or WM's policy, that the ambiguity should go in our favor, the practical side of me wonders if there is anything else that can be said. I get the earlier point about the coding, but I don't know what planet you guys are on, but no clerk/manager/whatever at any store near me is going to look at the code on the coupon with me and do what I've asked.

Hey, I'm not using the coupon so I personally don't have a goat in this rodeo. I was just trying to put emphasis on the fact that they do NOT scan at any particular price, they do require intervention, and the cashier shouldn't be verbally bitch-slapped for not pushing it through for $6 or $7 like everyone wants.
However, there are always lots of other reasons to verbally bitch-slap your Walmart cashiers. I can attest to that.

I realize it depends on stores and which direction the tradewinds are blowing in. I was just saying that at the commy, I will stand my ground. Especially since the directive says it must have a place to write the price in order to adjust it to the value of the item.

Yes, I've been saying that for over a month now, to posts about the Schick coupons. If run over the glass, the print journal comes up saying No matching item found. (words to that affect). You need to tell them to use the gun to scan the coupons. Sometimes one or two will still come up with the print journal, but then they scan again and it works.
Today, Christmas still 75%. They had added some red and green foil baking pans, and pie pans, etc. Didn't scan at discount, and weren't much of a bargain to me, even at 75%.
As advertised, they had marked down lots of winter clothes. Still a mess, they were trying to get them into one area of racks. Didn't spend too much time looking, but got a Christmas decorated red long sleeve top for $2. Some items only marked down a couple bucks off.
Finally!! The Dearfoam booties that I've been price checking since just after Christmas, were marked down to $5 from $14. There had only been a few on the little island rack, and today only 2. One was the one I had been eyeing. Whew, finally got it.:whee:
No Breathe Right, Schick, KY. Don't carry the Yes! to Carrots lip balm.
The Purina BeyOnd was finally on shelf, and I only had 3 coupons, but got them for a relative. $6.48 minus the $5 coupon.
The Colgate travel toothbrush discussed here the other day priced at ~.97, is $1.47 in my store.
Cheapest Tena pads, I think in a pink package were approx $4.68. They were next to the Poise. Didn't see any Tena underpants, just pads. Haven't tried to use coupon yet.

On my way out of the office and I get a call from Walmart... It's the store manager of one of the stores I went to. Long story made as short as possible, I explain the situation and he says that WM doesn't give O on any type of coupon so that what I'm saying doesn't make any sense. I explain the O policy and he asks if I used to work at WM and I say No. I ask if he has a copy of the Q policy and he says that he can probably find one but he "can't give away company secrets or anything." I say that it's online, so I can just print one out on my way over there and he says that might be a good idea. I have no idea what is going on, but this might be entertaining for a friday afternoon!

Yeah, it's one of two WM's that are on my way home from work, though, so I'd like to teach them a thing or two about couponing. I flat-out told him that I think the correct answer is that he's supposed to give me overage, but that I can't make him do it and if he decides it's not supposed to be O, then that's what it is.
I don't want anyone to get in trouble, but if it's supposed to be this way (and WM is going to get 7 bucks back anyway!) then I'd like that to happen too!

I don't know if you are speaking in relation to the Tena coupons specifically, I took it as any coupon that gives overage. I haven't even tried the Tena coupon, cause then they call for a front end person, a group gathers, they look thru all the coupons already rung up, take items out of the bags, on and on and on. Just too much of a hassle. I'm just glad they take the ones they do and we can finally get the heck out of there. They've been much better recently. They hit the 'yes' key knowing its what they are supposed to do. But it sure was a long time coming, and they're still not completely coupon educated. I think they'd go bonkers if I whipped that coupon out.
The other day I had an IP that was from a pdf. She asked another cashier or supv who said they cant take it cause it didn't have the 'printing' all around the coupon..(like the SS has with the date and amount in teeny print). Tried to explain that not all coupons have that, but I didn't want to get into it and I told her to just take the item off 'if she wasn't comfortable about taking it, but it really is a valid coupon.'
Next time another cashier will take it.

Don't expect "O" or you will be disappointed.... but FREE is good enough for me on the Tena.
I went to another WM this morning and got 4 pantiliners for $2.86. After scanning the coupon, register prompt cashier to enter price, she enter $7 and register beeps showing "amount too large, press <clear>. She hit clear and it auto deduct $2.86 the price of the pantiliners. She repeat the process for the next 3 ips and all deduct $2.86. CSM and cashier were puzzle as to why it took off $2.86 instead of the $7 that was inputted. I told them the amount is correct. CSM turned the key as "coupon value exceed $50 threshold" and completed the transaction and gave me $23.xx in cash back for the 55 packets of BR. in the same trxn :)

I never saw the ads here, but I checked my WM today because others had mentioned it said 50% off toys. Our toy clearance section was all the same price as earlier in the week. They did have 50% off gloves, scarves, etc. and 50% or more off coats and jackets here and a few winter clothes, but nothing too exciting. Lots of clearance balloons everywhere too, but some were on their normal "clearance" stuff like was $7.97 now $7.:lmao:

I sent my 15 y.o. dd in to get some quick dinner items and had her grab 2 of the Tena. She came out without the Tena and was told by the manager that the coupon was fake and she could call the cops on her and have her arrested. I don't know if I should even bother writing corp about this. It seems so hostile and now my DD is afraid to go in there.
What happened? WM had started to become coupon friendly, and now they just make me want to stay far away.

So, yeah, he would not give O, which I'm not expecting at this point on that Q but I think I did get a good chance to educate him on Qs a little bit. Another manager was with him and he did say something like "I can't believe they have this on the internet" when I handed him the WM coupon policy... so weird.
I don't get some people, like he kept saying that he does the coupons at walgreens, but seemed to think that having a Q policy on line was weird. The lady at that WM the day before kept telling me that she loves coupons and uses them all the time, but then gave me the "hookup" on letting me use more than 1 Q in a transaction, even though it said one "purchase."
Regardless, I guess this is just part of the "getting to know all the managers" deal and hopefully will lead to fruitful returns later. Seems like Managers are wwwwaaaaayyyyy more willing to talk to you at WM if you talk to them BEFORE trying to use the Q (but just the opposite at Target).
EDIT: wasn't a total loss though, since there were about 50 of the KY things with the 5/1 peelies on them. Nice, since I missed the 7/1 FB Q people were talking about. It's a weird Q -- it says "one per person" and "no more than 4 like coupons" in a transaction, so I'm sure that will create problems!

FWIW, I found with other things that if I'd send DW in to do something, she doesn't really understand what she's doing and that leads to "awkward" answers that seem suspicious to the clerks. My guess is that unless your DD is super into couponing too, she probably is in a similar boat as I had been.
But I agree that you should probably deal with the fact that this clerk was a jerk and is exposing WM to liability.

Don't give up. They WILL get it, if you have to train EVERY. SINGLE. EMPLOYEE. ONE. AT. A. TIME. (Not like I'd know this personally or anything,)
thanks! :D Lord have mercy on anyone in Shuri's area! ;)
Yes, I've been sying that for over a month now, to posts about the Schick coupons. If run over the glass, the print journal comes up saying No matching item found. (words to that affect). You need to tell them to use the gun to scan the coupons. Sometimes one or two will still come up with the print journal, but then they scan again and it works.
I found 6 at a store FINALLY. After the first time when she tried to use the glass scanner, the cashier listened to me and used the gun. They then scanned correctly and all she had to do was hit YES for them to go through.
Unfortunately at the store I found a TON at, the cashier wouldn't listen. tried to tell me that their archaic registers were new and that it would have picked up the correct barcode. He ended up NEVER picking up the hand scanner and just input them ONE AT A TIME.
Today, Christmas still 75%. They had added some red and green foil baking pans, and pie pans, etc. Didn't scan at discount, and weren't much of a bargain to me, even at 75%.

Christmas was NINETY PERCENT OFF at one store that still had a LOT left. Gift card boxes, gingerbread houses, etc. Half of it didn't ring off, but they manually adjusted easily.

Love ya though. :blowkiss:
I agree with that. You know how DeCA follows coupons to the letter of the law (ahem...except for Nicorette...) and they clearly stated that if the coupon does not have a space to write the price it should be entered at the full face value.
I realize that expecting anything at Walmart is often pointless, but I also don't like any implication that it is somehow wrong to redeem the coupon for the full value (if the item cost less) or that someone could lose their job over it.

DD isn't into super couponing yet. Part of it is because I just haven't sat down with her and gone over it and part of it is because she hasn't had to be! It's just bizarre that the manager would jump to those conclusions without even attempting to check their facts.
I think I will write corp about it though. If they don't want to take the coupon because the fine print is blurry or whatever, then fine - but to accuse and threaten someone without any kind of substantial proof is ridiculous. Especially when that someone is a 15 y.o. kid!
I was able to print a $7 KY coupon last night off of FB. There is a gc deal at Target next week - $14.99 - buy 2 get a $10 gc - so I hope to use it there.
I also saw some peelies on some boxes of KY the last time I was at WM. I didn't get any, but I do remember them saying something like "on THIS box..." I don't know if those are the same ones or not.
Also, it's not a super cheap deal, but I printed a $1.50 off of Pillsbury whoopie pie kit or cookie pop kit the other day. They had a valentine's whoopie pie kit at WM for $2.98 - so $1.48 after coupon. Not cheap/free, but a cute little project if you have kids. I did not see the cookie pop kits though.

I've occasionally tried to explain that, but I always get some hem-haw about how that's not really the case. I want to scream "yes that is the case, you are just an idiot and don't know what you are talking about so you are making stuff up!"
I've even have a manager at T tell me that T does not actually get any money from the manufacturers for the manufacturer's coupon. I could not tell if he was actually that dumb or if he was trying to be cute, since I imagine that the Manu's don't just cut them a check but probably just credit their account for more product or something.

Agreed. Coudn't have said it better myself. In fact wasn't this the very thread that the $2 tide coupon was used on the tiny packets, even after P&G told us not to on their facebook page?
Maybe someone could make a thread for ethics/morality, but I don't come to the walmart thread to be told how to use my coupons or not. It wasn't wrong to use the $2 tide coupons, and it won't be wrong to use this Tena one either. Tena knows the items they sell to Walmart, the same as P&G (Tide) did. Perhaps they should have excluded trial, or placed the no cash back (shick coupons), or even "up to $7 off any Tena item priced $7 or more".

First, totally agree, you can argue either way so no one should be in here getting mad or telling anyone else what to do. If the manufacturer wants it done a certain way, they better specify and not make their customers try to guess their intent.
Actually Tide said they were perfectly acceptable to use on the packets. I'm sure they wished they weren't but they did clarify and say it was ok and they would get reimbursed.

I simply stated that if the cashier balks at the idea of giving overage, then "free" should be good enough.
I'm not using this coupon, but if I was, overage for this one is not a battle I would pursue. I can think of a lot more coupon squabbles I would rather "be remembered for".

 I think you interpreted it that way. But those of us that were having this discussion have been around here for a good while and I think we understand this was a good discussion without malice. In fact, I gave love to MsGal at the end of my post. Not that I know of but there are deals at Target this week where you get a $10 giftcard wyb 2 products, and 2 movie tix.
Walgreens also has a deal going on this week.

Oh walmart knew it because next to the cut out hole they put one of those yellow stickers with the price. Yep, they knowingly put out a damaged product with the upc cut out. I would bet anything an employee did it and then put a sticker on it with the scanner so it could be sold. Just when you think you have seen everything walmart comes in and kicks that all to hell.

I managed to pricematch the Walgreens ad for the Star Wars figures. It only took 5 employees, which is a little disappointing because my personal best is 7 employees, but I digress......
Initially, I didn't think I was going to get them as first Asst. Manager read thr wording on the coupon which says "can not combine with any other offer" and told me the ad constituted an "offer". So I asked him if that meant I couldn't use a coupon on anything in a Walmart ad either, which totally befuddled him. So he told me "that's not what I'm talking about" and I asked him to explain which REALLY befuddled him.
By this time 2nd Asst. Manager arrived in time to hear me mention the DM by name and I'd be calling him tomorrow...... first Asst. Manager couldn't haul butt quick enough and left the other manager, the zone manager, the customer service supervisor and 2 cashiers to actually look up the policy. So after about 45 minutes I did get my figures.
Apparently someone was in another line with 30-$11 MQs for a $180 order. They were insisting that the manufacturer sent them the coupons. I guess it's why I had so many actual managers readily available.

I believe you go through the "email stores" link and in the end when you are ready to submit your email, it gives you the option of sending it to your local store or directly to Walmart corp.

I don't do well on phones. I have a very difficult time with confrontation and my hearing isn't great. I also speak softly and don't speak well live (trip over/lose my words.) If I write I can get what I want to say down and fix it without totally flubbing it all up. (well, usually. I still have a way of messing that up sometimes). But I completely understand why it would be better to call! I'm sure it's faster, etc...

I finally got a store manager to give me the phone number a few months ago. Totally like pulling teeth, but the whole ordeal at the time was pulling teeth too. Funny thing though, I was in a Walmart totally out of my normal travels and needed to use the restroom. Hanging on the wall was a "is this restroom dirty etc. and please call our DM if it's unsatisfactory. So check the restroom.

I'm probably in the minority, but I'm kind of glad for the regular talk in here. If I had needed that email link, I wouldn't have thought to look in chat for it. I don't regularly go in there. The seperate threads for chat really bug me sometimes. I can see on a busy week for WG or RA, but a reg week, I don't think it's such a big deal. I can scroll past something if I don't want to read it. It's hard to have something you don't intend to turn into a conversation TURN into a conversation, drop it, then move it to pick it up. It makes other people where you take the middle of a conversation

I found this
http://www.walmart.com/ip/iHome-iP90-Dual-Alarm-Clock-Radio-for-iPhone-iPod/14667105
marked down to $35. There were several on the shelves but only a few were marked this price then at the end of the isle there were more but marked $50. Of course when they scan it at the register it rings up full price, so manager had to do an over-ride cause they clearly had $35 clearance sticker.
The new thing going on at my area WM (this is Mo stores) is the cashier telling me that they were told to be very picky about which coupons they accept that are over the price of the item. They were told not to accept very many because WM only gets 1/12 of a cent for any amount OVER the price of the item. So any overage they give us they only get paid 1/12 of it. LOL I didn't know whether to laugh at her or feel sorry for her. I must have had a comical look because she says 'No really that is what the coupons say and that is what corporate told us in a meeting".
I was in a hurry and didn't really have the time to educate her or the store so I got my overage put on a WM giftcard and left. Funny that my amount due was negative and it didn't bother her a bit. I just told her to add a WM gc for a few dollars over that amount and all was fine. So she did take the coupons like she was supposed to but I don't think she even realized what was going on.

Could someone help me understand wording on a coupon to use at Walmart? I have a coupon from when my daughters tylenol and zyrtec were recalled. It says Save up to $18 on any (lists brands) products. Limit one coupon per purchase specified.
Will I get overage if I buy a product under $18? Can I buy more than one item up to $18?
Need to buy some new meds and want to make the most of my q!

Sounds like you can buymore than one product.
THe "Limit one coupon per purchase specified." , is weird. What does 'specified' mean here? I think it means you can only use it on the products listed.("specified")
I guess its another case of YMMV as to the overage, because of the wording "up to $18".
Would be too much of a headache for me to try to get overage, especially with the large value of the coupon, would be questioned enough at WM.
Maybe you can use it at CVS or Wag's on a deal where you would get RR's or ECB's back.

So, YMMV, but when I went back and looked, there was an entire aisle of bagged flower bulbs (12/bag) ringing up $.02... they were all marked with "Fall Planting", so I assume that's why, so YMMV. I don't have the room for them, or I would have bought some, but it was daffodils and similar.

is this exactly what the coupon says?
it's important to be very clear about what a coupon says.
for instance *product* would mean one item. *products* could mean multiple items but we need to know exactly what it says.

I'm not the OP and I didn't do this deal, but it sounds like they're saying that the coupon has a GS1 barcode in addition to the conventional barcode. If the short barcode is scanned it auto-adjusts to the price of the item. If the long one is scanned, it takes off $7.

I'm not the OP and I didn't do this deal, but it sounds like they're saying that the coupon has a GS1 barcode in addition to the conventional barcode. If the short barcode is scanned it auto-adjusts to the price of the item. If the long one is scanned, it takes off $7.
Wish that was the case for me at my walmart here. I just tried to do the deal today and I had asked my cashier to scan the long barcode but it wasn't scanning at all, only the short barcode was. So no MM for me :(
Also, I found a big display of m&ms right in front of the store that have peelies for $1/1 M&Ms package, 9.9 oz or larger..

Not at the walmarts in my area... because the Walgreens register rewards that prints out for me here has the wording 'Redeemable at Walgreens only'
It was usable in the past when the word 'only' wasn't printed on the coupon itself. But things are different now :O

My WM takes ANY MQ (as long as it says MQ on it).
I will check Hasbro.com when it lets me again. When they run out of Qs, they don't let you on. If you're on the West Coast like I am, you can see the next day's Qs after midnight.
ETA: There is a $1.50 coupon on coupons.com for $1.50 off ANY 2 Mars Seasonal items. I will look when I go out tonight to see what free items can be had with this Q

I think I will give up on the Tena Q. They keep rejecting it saying it is not legible enough. :sadwalk: Oh well.
I found a gazillion yellow tearpads in the American Greetings aisle - $1.00/2 cards.

:bounce:Found the Breathe Right today, could not believe my luck. The strips were hanging all over the pharmacy section. Received over $15.00 in overage which paid for my groceries.. Cashier did not have an issue with my Breathe Rights or the q's..

That's what I was wondering unless they don't carry that particular one? They should do the PM since the coupon states the price.

wags currently has Got2B products (buy 1 at $5.99 and get 1 free). i purchased 4 and used 4 x $3 mq and got all 4 free (only paid ST). They are out of the hair spray which is what I'm looking for. I have never done pm at Walmart. Will they accept 4 MQs? How should they be ring up? Could someone help me out as I would like to get some at wally instead of getting rcs at wags. thank you.

That's great that you have the MQ's already. Take the Walgreens ad into WM and show the cashier the ad $5.99 bogo and she/he will adjust the price for the 1st one to $3.00 and the 2nd one $2.99. I usually have to explain the math to them but it helps me get in & out fast. If the coupon has a limit of 4 per transaction, then you have to do separate transactions.
But if you have a lot of MQ's this is good because the Wags ad does NOT have a "limit 3" or "limit 4" on the GOT2B ad.
I'm so happy & envious of you!!! :) I'm going to do the RC thing at Walgreens.

they actually do full price / free for bogo sales, but it should net out to the same anyways in the end. :D

I went "dumpster-diving" Usually don't have gut, scare might get caught but after seeing the price on the bay I risk it. Only 1 wag in town and hair sprays are OOS. This wag is not coupon friendly. I vowed never to step in to that store again after the "limit of 1 per customer with RR deals". Not worth my time and gas to drive back and forth. I dare not try 2 transactions as the mq states "limit of 4 like coupons in shopping trip" so took my 4 and left. My walmart is more coupon friendly now (after jumping several hoops and emails/phone calls to SM, etc.) and I have given them lots of my hard earned $. Thanks again for the explanation above.

Just be fully prepared to stand your ground, have the policy with you and highlighted etc. Go when you have a spare couple of hours also.:D
I have only done this type of transaction a couple of times, but it seems like the concept of having to pricematch AND use coupons to give you two free items, makes their heads explode. They can't seem to grasp the fact that they'll be reimbursed for the coupons.
