Doubtful that they've been around since 1999 and just registered the domain a few months ago.

Privacy (Domains by Proxy) in their domain? Highly suspicious.
Seems very fishy (phishy?) to me.

I'm going to try it, but for those of you who haven't been doing surveys for long, goZing was a GREAT company about 6 or 7 years ago, then they started to suck BIG TIME. They got kind of like Greenfield...The surveys went from having very good incentives to offering nothing but a contest entry. They also started doing the "DNQ after 10-15 minutes of work" surveys, which IMO are borderline fraud (since they gather everything they need before they claim DNQ).
I'm gonna give this one a try...perhaps the goZing people realize how they screwed up and it'll be better this time. I tried Greenfield again last week after a 4-year hiatus and they seem much better now.

I might sign up if I have time, I don't really fill out many surveys this summer but hopefully when school starts again I'll have time. But anyway, I'm doing good, just working a lot to pay off those lousy school bills!

Somewhere in their history page I read that they are owned by Greenfield so I passed when I saw the info a few days ago(I'll dig up the info in a sec)..Whoops, had it bassackwards---the founders of goZing created Surveyhead which is owned by United Sample--goZing was bought out by Greenfield not Surveyhead---anyway I'm still gonna pass

Ok, I signed up and got my $5. I was offered one suvey for $1 and no time frame listed. It wasn't any particular survey...it was one of those ones which tries to pre-qualify you for all different surveys. After about 3 minutes of that, I got qualified for one...25 minutes. Ummmm, NO! I'm not doing a 25-minute survey for $1.00!!!
I'll keep checking back for a while, but it seems this site is set up the way the *old* Greenfield and goZing sites worked. I quit both of them!
FYI, it's been about a week since I decided to give Greenfield another chance and it really does seem better this time around. I've made about $20 so far, plus I have a $30 Invoke this week.

I forgot to mention...
Don't sign up just to get the $5.00. This site has a $25 minimum on cashouts, and as best I can tell, the $5 isn't going to be worth the time if you have to do 20 other $1 surveys in order to get a cashout.

I joined survey head in July. I did get the $5 credit for joining followed by the $1 for taking the profiler survey. Other than that, until 2 weeks ago I had never been emailed an invite for a survey. Anytime I went to the site to see surveys available ( which is where they are listed, you don't usually get emails ) most of the available surveys were through OTX ( which I can't stand because I DQ for 99% of their surveys and they are usually sooo long) so after I attempted the 3-5 surveys through OTX and DQ'd all of them, I had used my limit for surveys through OTX for the day, so I couldn't try through any other company with OTX. In the last few weeks I've gotten emailed several surveys that have given me about a $9 credit with Survey Head. It's all still pending, so we'll see.
Bottom Line:
I think they are legit, but be sure not to use up your survey ops with OTX until you're sure there are no better ops from any other company that may pay better ( like GTM ):look:

Date of Birth: yes, pretty much all the surveys ask that.
SS#: No. Usually no survey will ask this, exceptions being certain academic research studies conducted by universities, etc.. but again, that's for their own records, not for the survey. Since Surveyhead surveys are mostly OTX one, i don't think they would need your SS#. I've never seen it happen for me, but if you are getting such surveys, better avoid them.

I checked out SurveyHead back in August when I started this and SH was definately on the top of the PHONEY list. They used to be GoZing (sorry if I'm repeating this but I haven't read every single post here). Anyway GoZing went belly up, changed name to Survey Head and going downhill.
Sorry for all of you that have to deal with Nim Rods like this, but I have my share as well I'm working on reaching the min payout, cashing in, and see ya' later, bye!
Survey Police (I've heard) is an excellent source for getting results. I've never had to complain to them yet but getting pretty darn close with a few out there.

Apparently I'm having the same issues as everyone else.Emails saying I've earned money and that all payments should reflect earned but when I log in it still say's they're pending. You don't qualify for about 90% of their surveys so it takes forever to earn enough to cash out.I'm at $12.50 with them and I doubt I'll ever see the money

well got this in my email,
We would like to invite you take part in a survey that's probably a little different from others you may have taken.
To participate, you need to complete a survey each day for a full week, starting on Tuesday, December 9th--for a total of seven surveys (not counting today's).
The main part of the survey each day will be an online "diary" of what you did the previous day--we ask that you think back to that day and tell us what activities you were involved in, as best as you can remember.
If you miss one day, you will not be allowed to take the following day's survey--so it's crucial that you be available each day during the seven-day period if you'd like to participate.
Each day's survey will take you about 5 minutes to complete (with the first survey on Tuesday being a little longer).
Knowing this, are you willing and able to participate each day in this week-long survey, from Tuesday, December 9th through Monday, December 15th?
BUT NOT TOO EXCITED AS I READ THESE ARE A PAIN TO GET PAID FROM.

So, what's the incentive for this week long study? I've been signed up with SH since 8/15 and still have the $5 sitting there from sign up. I'm a tad bit hesitant to pursue any further with them for the fact that BBB gave them an unsatisfactory rating for non-payment when I researched them back in August. Although......it appears that not to many teeth have to be pulled in order to get payment.
Is is worth doing surveys for them? Wat's the turn-around with PayPal?

Funny Survey Head jumps out at me here. I just had a $4 invite from YourFreeSurveys which does not happen much (actually, I've never seen them offer one more than $1.50). Anyway it had to do with cell phones, answered the first question, got disqualified and sent directly to SurveyHead! "Click, Close, see ya later!"
The next one from YourFree was for $3.50 for gardening. Well, that took me to OTX, spun around like a roulette wheel then I was sent to their famous page of "sign up for these scammers". Could not believe it.
Anyway, I'm glad you got paid Girl! :bounce:

Hmmm, maybe I should try Greenfield then.
I signed up for Greenfield this past week. I have taken probably 20 or so surveys and have only qualified for 2. They were both entry's and that was it. One of them was extremely long and only for a stinkin entry.

Ok, here is the update, they credited my account for the dollar I needed to cash out, on Jan 20 and what I thought was strange is, it gives you the option to cash out for smaller amounts, like 10.00:confused: I cashed out for the full amount 25.00, so now I'll see how long that takes.

I haven't had a problem with getting paid from them although I haven't paid attention to see how long it takes. Most of these companies take their time in paying, unfortunately. But, since this is just pocket money and not bill-paying money, I don't care that much about the time <shrug>.

I am a member and have been paid twice by them. Almost ready to cash out a third time. After you take a survey, it will be listed as "pending" for a month or two before it is approved so that you can cash out. Cash out is at $25 via Paypal.

Legit. Mostly OTX surveys...so almost worthless unless you enjoy spinning your wheels for no reason. HOWEVER, really like their layout. All surveys that you can access are grouped together with the reward, estimated time and chance of qualifying. SURVEYSPOT could take a lesson from them. In addition, you can view the status of the surveys you completed, unlike other sites where you have to track them all or else they will conveniently skip paying for a few. I pick and choose the ones I do at surveyhead and this site is worth keeping on my radar.

I do not do a lot of surveys for this site...given the generally low payouts, but I was closing in on the payout limit of $25, which makes me attempt more 1$ surveys. I completed one on Sunday which took me out to an external site, I did the survey and never got returned to Surveyhead for credit. The same thing happened tonight- it was a zoompanel survey. I have never had this happen before with this company, and wonder if certain surveys show up later or if this is just a new tactic to avoid paying. Anyone else have this experience with them? Hopefully I am simply being overly pessimistic.

Yep I had the same thing happen to me about a week ago, so I emailed them and then they gave me credit a few days later. That also happened to me last night, so I emailed them again.
Just email them at support@surveyhead.com and then tell them what survey you weren't credit for.

My dh is at $24.00 with them and can't wait to get to $25 so we can cash out and be done with them. Today he gets this $2.00 15 minute survey that took him a whole lot longer to do ....after 30 minutes of doing this he stopped to take a break and answer the phone... anyway when he got back he continued for maybe 5-7 more minutes of questions including demographics and when he clicked on sinish furvey he got a message that this transaction has been terminated. They will do anything to avoid paying out so be careful with them.

When Survey Head first started they were a good company. Then comes OTX, we all know what happens then. I think OTX shows these companys how to rob us, and they make money to start, but we all know you have to have constant business in order to survive.

They have lost their minds, I do believe.
Back when they first started, before this thread was even here, I did a survey and have long since been credited for it and have cashed out. I have cashed out at least 4 times since. So, I login to my account for the first time in about a month and they have now determined that survey to be invalid and deducted the $8.50 for that survey from my account balance. They also did the same thing for an OTX survey that has already been credited and then cashed out on several months ago. So, they deducted that $4.50 from my account balance as well.
They say that they validate the surveys and then credit the money to your account. So, then why was it approved, sat that way in my account for however long, then allow me to cash out, then almost a year later revoke the credit and actually debit my account lol. That makes no sense at all. Are they telling me that a year later, they have finally gone over these survey answers and decided somehow that my answers were invalid? Cmon.

We have reviewed your recent request to cash
out funds from Surveyhead. Due to
irregularities in your account, your cash out
request has been denied. Unfortunately this
decision cannot be overturned and is final.
The reason for this decision most likely relates
to a violation of the Surveyhead terms and conditions.
DON'T bother with this company. After they collect all your hard work they deny you payment. It's just a scam...

In case you didn't notice, I don't take these issues very lightly and do not want to have to prepare myself with armor to request the money I so deserve. Perhaps this is why I am prematurely getting my undies in a bundle. :blush3:

I've cashed out 4 times for 25+ amounts for paypal. The first time was a really long wait, but each time seems to be quicker. It takes a little while for the pending to go to confirmed but then a little while longer to get payment. Not really any longer than waiting for GTM checks to arrive. They do pay, so don't worry about that.

The last request I made on 6/26 I have not been paid for yet and shows as "requested" on my rewards page. The previous cash out was 6/16 and was paid on 7/17 so when they say four weeks, it's definitely four weeks and not any sooner. I'd hold off on the email to them until the four weeks has surpassed (and hopefully it won't come down to that).
Just yesterday it occurred to me that I have not see an survey invites from them in days. In addition, there hasn't been any surveys on my dashboard. I used to be bombarded with their surveys. What's up with that? :scratchh:

If you haven't heard anything from them in a while, check your account. Although you normally ALWAYS have a list of poorly-paying surveys available, when I logged in to check on a survey that I was having trouble getting credited for, I had ZERO surveys, and had been credited for some surveys that I'd never gotten the email announcements about. I checked daily for several days; still no surveys. I wrote to them inquiring about this; they replied that they'd checked my account and verified that it was fine, and that I shouldn't expect to qualify for every survey. I wrote back repeating that I didn't HAVE any surveys, and about the lack of emails. They didn't reply... but an hour later I had a long list of available surveys and several more payments. Still no emails telling me I've been credited, though.
