The questions were, IIRC was I male or female (Male), then what sort of pre-shave do I use - lotion, shaving cream, etc.

I selected none, and boom, end of survey - I don't qualify.

Got the e-mail as well, but I didn't qualify because of my shaving habits.

I picked gel and was immediately disqualified. Must be a certain age or something.

if you use shave gel generally it is aresol shave gel which is what they are looking for something like edge shave gel ect
i got accepted its a long test but worth it in the end

You will be required to shave with the shaving gel products we give you and answer some questions regarding the products. The duration of the study is 10 weeks, August 4th through October 13th 2008. If you complete the study, you will receive a gift card for $50.00 in appreciation of your time and cooperation. Are you interested in participating?

Thank you for your interest in our study. You will receive an aerosol shaving gel in the mail in a few days. The package will be from Evaluation Sciences in Connecticut. Please follow the letter of instructions included in the packet. Make sure to put your own product away and shave exclusively with this product as you normally would use your own. After using it for 2 weeks, you will log on to www.inhomeproducttesting.com and complete an on-line survey about the shaving gel you just tested. You will then receive the next product in the mail. You will be asked to use a total of five (5) aerosol shaving gel products. At the end of the study, you will receive $5 for each completed questionnaire. However, a $50.00 gift card will be sent for your time and cooperation if you complete the questionnaires on all 5 aerosol shaving gel products as instructed. Are you willing to participate?

This is the first PT I've qualified for with this company. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad it's not an empty item, but it seems like this company pays well in addition to the PT, so I'd happily take an empty bottle of something for $50!!!

I just received this product test.

It's pretty awesome...one large can of gel shaving cream (completely unmarked...even I have no clue what brand it is).

I need to use it for 2 weeks, then do a $5 survey. Then use a second type for 2 weeks, then another $5 survey. Repeat 5 times. At the end of the 10 weeks I get a $50 gift card.

I don't know if they're sending these things out in the same order to everyone, but my first one was GREAT (clear gel)...a tiny speck of it produced a ton of lather. My second one (blue gel) makes NO lather almost!

i shaved all the hair from my body.

Got the $10 Target gift card in the mail today. Also got a Target gift card from mypoints today, so off to Target I go tomorrow!

I contacted them yesterday and they told me that my Sears gift card had just shipped. I am so disappointed that it is a Sears gift card.

They'll mail you a giftcard when the study is done. Don't know what store the gc will be for, though. I think you have to wait until it arrives to find out.
