Mysurvey must not like me. I have been a member for a few months and have not gotten a single survey from them.

log in and make sure your profiles are active and updated.. sometimes just updating your profiles can make a company send you more surveys

I was getting frustrated with MySurvey in terms of not getting very many surveys or points, then suddenly got a survey last week that resulted in an almost immediate $10.00 gift card! :)

since the transfer over to points, i've been getting 6 and 8 dollar surveys from them, plus the pittance of the prescreener.. its the same system as lightspeed so i know what i can cash out for and i've already learned the tricks over there.. sorry u guys are having a bad time with it..

how are you getting $8 or $6 surveys?
all of my surveys, even when I qualify pay no more than 100 pts.

I think i had ONE that paid 400 points but it was really long.

This is som bs.s

You can no longer redeem 1000 pts. for $10.00

If you want a check = 1150 pts.
If you want it via PayPal = 1100 pts.

This stinks :(

That basically means that 10 points is no longer 10 cents. More like 8 cents. They've artificially "upped" how much rewards cost. So you are earning LESS per survey.

The good thing though is when you request PayPal it only takes 1-2 days, unlike lightspeed which takes 5-7, using the same Perks reward system.

mysurvey sent me a prescreener for 5 points, I ended up getting a PT, they sent me a follow up survey for another 5 points-------------the PT was for popcorn

so I got a total of 10 cents for a prescreener, product test and follow up survey.
, this was before they jacked up their point to dollar rate

MYSURVEY HAS BECOME A JOKE

I used to think that as well, but these are all Pre-Screeners and if you qualify for surveys it is instant. I do them all and most turn out to be 75-150 points, and a few are usually 500-750 points, so you might want to do the few second screeners or you will be waiting a long time for good surveys.

Did anyone get an email with a request to download software to their computer from their "sister" company and get points for doing so? You must need to keep this software on your PC for 45 days to get credit. I'm so leery of doing this = tracking seed planted. They maintain that no private information is accessed. Why don't I believe that. Any thoughts are welcome, I haven't done it.

ETA: Requested a $15.00 PP payout, took a couple days, but no email confirmation from PP or MySurvey to let me know. I had to log-into my PP account to find it.

I've done a similar project for Opinion Outpost. They had me download the Nielsen software. I haven't received my points for it either. I would not recommend these types of software because sometimes they interfere with your normal internet browsing. Webpages sometimes don't load immediately so you have to refresh the page, short delay when opening a new website, and even IE errors. Though every computer system is different so perhaps it has something to do with conflicting software.

Even though it's an extra 100 pts now for $10, I'd rather pay that and get my money via PayPal within days as opposed to a mailed check which takes a month and means I have to make a trip to the bank.

But the thing that gets me is when these survey companies change their cash out thresholds and policies but don't even bother to communicate it to the members! That's just wrong if you ask me.

I refused. I don't like downloading tracking software on my computer to begin with and they amount of points they were offering wouldn't have made it worth my time anyway. Can't remember exactly, but wasn't it something like 400 pts? Which equals less than $4 now.

Ok, maybe that's what I was offered too. I just remember it being really low so I was like NO THANKS! At least they asked why I was turning it down and I say the reward being offered was too low.

I agree. I just got a follow-up survey for a PT and was offered 30 points to do it. I call it an offer because I chose not to take them up on it. It's so ridiculous that I truly believe that they're fishing around to see how low they can go before people refuse to participate in the follow-ups. If they can't get people to follow up with the surveys they will need to start offering more points.

I used to think of 30 points as 30 cents, but it's not worth that much any more. I guess we all need to decide how low we're willing to go.

It is surprising. My points would also add up fast if I was willing to do their 20 minute surveys for 40 points, but obviously people do not value their time very much.

Them doing low paying surveys seems more fruitful than others constantly crying about them doing low paying surveys.

My only problem is that I'll do a survey for this company and then I'll get a better offer from a different company.

I thought Lightspeed merged with Mysurvey. I asked Mysurvey a question about this and here's their response:

Thank you for contacting us. At this time the MySurvey.com and Lightspeed
panels are not being combined and will continue to run independently.
MySurvey.com and Lightspeed reward point accounts will be maintained
separately on their respective panels. The only difference you may see
over the next few months are more surveys being offered from each panel.

I recently contacted them about it. They said to allow 6-8 weeks. Also asked them about the Fur Fighting mop-never got a follow up survey to report whether I liked it or not. They never answered about that. Did you get a follow up?

Speaking of tracking software, I went to check on what mailing address I have with My Survey and found that I was--by default--opted IN to their Ad-Tracker program, by virtue of being a member of My Survey. I opted out, naturally, but I don't recall ever being told that I was opted-in, in the first place.

Yes I did take part also and still have not been rewarded my points either. I did speak to someone several weeks ago and they said my points should have been posted around 8/22. Well, that surely didn't happen so I had sent them a follow up email about it but still have not heard anything back from them.

Yea, I got that. I've been a member for a long time, though, and don't recall reading anything (when I joined) about that automatic enrollment.

Anyway, just thought I'd give a heads-up as it is easy enough to opt-out.

I sent them another e-mail on 9/10, but they haven't replied. It's a bit surprising, since they usually respond within a few days.

They still haven't responded about the product trial, so I called them. The woman I spoke with said the deadline to return the surveys was August 24. They are in the process of entering all the data. She said it generally takes four to six weeks to credit the points, with the four-week mark being this Friday. Hopefully, we'll see the points by mid-October.
