If you want to order 25 or more boxes at a time, you can get them from uline.com for around $1.50 each with shipping.

The Nintendo Wii also fits perfectly into the boxes that hold several reams of paper. These boxes can be found for FREE at any bank, office supply store, library, and any other location that prints paper on a regular basis. These boxes are sturdy but light and also work well in shipping bundled items. Be aware that when claiming damage insurance on shipping, the quality of your packing will come into question - for $400-$500 an inspector will probably come look at the package, so it may be worth both positive feedback and insurance protection to use good boxes.

What size of box to get? Considering that Nintendo ships the Wii with no other padding, you shouldn't need much either. You will want your box to be crush proof which means having packing material fill throughout the empty spaces. i'm still buying from target / amazon. amazon i cant lose money on and target i have 90 days to return. going to skip the other retailers for now.

Fits finally showing available at Targets on west coast.. Some Targets out here are holding but some are not.. Same old BS story from employees.. One out here that showed available said they had none but I had another Target check the previous stores inventory and she said they had 6 available.. Too funny.. Target was such a good source before but now GS seems to be the most reliable for me.

Got another 8 from Targets in KC today. This was going solo and between 5 stores.

If the tracker says "Available" before they open, the Fits are in the store. Half of the Targets today didn't have them on the shelf so I asked electronics. Those bastards love to say no without looking at or checking anything. Sometimes they say no even when they're sitting in the case. Went to guest services and had them look up the DPCI. 15 minutes later I had a Fit at those stores. All total today, 100 miles traveled, 10 Fits collected, and 1 CL sale. I am exhausted.

I'm so scared to start my listings at .99 but it seems like those listings fair better.

I was able to return all the additional accessories from the circuit city fit bundles I ordered no problem. Even told me i could bring back the receipt and they would re ring and let me use the 10% gamers cards on each order.

I didn't bother doing that today. I went to CS and they said they had six this morning but not sure what they had at the time. She said the tracker didn't update instantly. Yeah, even with an account manager, you get crap service. If not more so since general powerseller support always asks you to get your account manager to give you credit, and they NEVER answer on the first call.

Don't they take the average for the previous three months to figure up your monthly sales? So if you have a slow month, the other months could pull your numbers up and keep your PS status.

I've had some listed at $149.99 over the past several days, only sold two. There's so many BIN's now with ebays $0.25 special that's it hard to get noticed.

After selling Nintendo stuff for years I finally played a Wii and a DS for the first time this weekend. The Wii was fun but I’m in no rush to get one of my own. I will be getting a DS though. That Zelda game is great and I need to finish it.

Also, the Wii is the most dangerous system I have ever played. My cousin threw the Wiimote right in my eye while he was bowling. After that I "accidentally" landed my elbow in his back while we were playing tennis. That was one of the only points I won.

Awesome. Wasnt sure about that since the dimesions I had for the box were 20.5 long. The big ones I have are great for fit/console combos. But bulky to handle for just the fits.

The targets missing stock yesterday got some today. Picked up 1 at the limited avail location (only 5 in stock). Other one with Available had 5 in the case and a whole end cap (19 visible + 5 in the case). I got 4 from there. Wife is on the way and trying to get 5 to match me.

Possible, but based on who was there, I don't think it's likely. I am sure another reseller or reseller group hit it as I have seen at least 2 more in the area that were semi-obvious. Honestly, I should have gone back and picked up another cart of 4-5, and am kicking myself now, but was already late for a meeting (which was delayed anyways). They probably cleared out the end cap and a couple out of the case afterwards. Being that only 2 stores showed stock this morning and 1 was Limited Availability, it probably didn't take long for other resellers to hit the location by 10am.

It's hard in the early mornings as there is generally only 1 or 2 cashiers open and they are next to each other. Worst they could do is stop me, like they did my wife the other day. I still feel all nervous... like today where I stalked the electronics guy until he went the other way, so I could load up a cart. I already checked out with him 5 mins before.

I've learned my lesson though. Next time I hit them up until someone yells at me or throws me out. At a 1 per visit vs cleaning them out of 10+, it would be worth missing out on the next 10 releases there... by that time no one would remember me.

I picked up Wii's at targets and TRU in the past few days.. scattered to say the least, I think one had 3 left all the rest I took the last one. While I don't trust the word of most of the electronics people, a few mentioned the shipments are getting smaller and smaller again. Demand is not great, but steady all were reporting, so take it for what it is worth.

Auctions IMO are the better way to go lately, with the BIN flood you can position yourself near some of the "higher" BIN and watch your auction get within 5-10 bucks of the BIN that doesn't go:D

I found one spot that within a hour block I am the only auction in a sea of BIN's...

I guess scamers are just using eBay messages area, you can send a message to any ebay id with not stop (ebay will just sent the message to the registered email without disclosing to the sender). It is at discretion of the user to be able to recognize a fake email. I would not be surprised if by now 100s or 1000s of 'like' PS ids are being registered, then monitoring auctions for winners and sending messages in the hope the user does not realize the difference and ends up following the instructions of the fake email.

The only thing one can do is to encourage the buyer to report the message to ebay so they close these accounts.

if my buyer did not alert me.. I'd never know the difference and if my buyer fell for the scam, the only way they would figure it out is when I do a UPI and then the questions would come out.

this is a scam on both sides, the buyer is screwed out of money and the seller is exposed to Neg FB for doing nothing... not to mention the loss of a sale.

I guess scamers are just using eBay messages area, you can send a message to any ebay id with not stop (ebay will just sent the message to the registered email without disclosing to the sender). It is at discretion of the user to be able to recognize a fake email. I would not be surprised if by now 100s or 1000s of 'like' PS ids are being registered, then monitoring auctions for winners and sending messages in the hope the user does not realize the difference and ends up following the instructions of the fake email.

The only thing one can do is to encourage the buyer to report the message to ebay so they close these accounts.


that is the odd thing.. this did not come through the ebay message area, but to the buyer direct email addy.. so it was from john.doe@scammer.com to their personal email, bypassing the whole ebay message system.

I still can't figure out how a scammer/person other than hacking my account OR the buyers account can get their direct email from a completed ebay auction.

So, I got an order of boxes in (couldn't drive over to uline due to schedule this week and I was out after a huge run on sales last weekend). I asked for them to include a sample of the 20x14x4. I know many people have asked over time and it has always been said "yes it fits snugly".

Now I see the issue. The way the boxes are cut, they leave a gap at the corners between the flaps. Putting the fit in there kinda pushes the ends, but not hard. It appears the box isn't really a 20, but more of a 20.25 with breathing room? Regardless, I will add in my opinion that it will definately hold a fit very well. There is still the top gap, but putting a little popcorn in, to be very snug, saves me almost exactly 50% of popcorn use (which is good considering I was using about $.30 worth of it per fit (no cost change w/ fedex based on size change). Next order of boxes in a couple weeks will be the 20x14x4. It's worth the savings to me.

If you want a fit to be safe on 3 sides, use packing material and the 24x14x4. If you can deal with only 1 side having material to protect the unit, go 20x14x4.

I've been having the problem with the scammers emailing and messaging my buyers for some time now. I don't know how the scammers are doing either. The biggest threat is when a buyer bids a featured auction way high like the good old days, like $100 over standard market (likely a newb buyer), and then gets scared by the scammers and decides to play it safe and not pay anyone (typical newb reaction). I've even had a legit buyer file a paypal complaint and get the payment withheld immediately after paying, b/c the scammers spooked them. Because the scammers usually say "paypal is not working, I don't have access to my paypal account, etc." The scammers work off volume, so they have to email or message probably 1,000s of our buyers, potentially creating 1,000s of NPB's to get one person naive enough to western union them the money. The scammers dont' care if the person just doesn't pay for the sale, b/c its no loss to them.

I have had that happen a couple of times from what I understand until your auction gets to a $100 bucks they can see the bidders screen name and just try and work that way to get a dummy who falls for there games.Just ask ebay to help you.Joke there.They are w o r t h less.But what can you do either play the game by there rules or don't play I guess

I've documented that and it happened at least 5 times to my auction buyers already. I now bold it in red in all my listings and all my end of auction emails.

I just got back from the Walmart right down the street. Went up to electronics and asked the lady and she was like we don't have any. Luckily one of her co-workers walked up and informed her that they got a shipment in last night.
