everytime i visit a thread for some reason the number of views doesn't increment. is it just for me or has anyone else noticed this??

Happens to me too. I don't see why this is a problem to you. Yes, it's possibily it doesn't show your own views, or you need to refresh.

The view count is not updated instantaneously.
