This is similar to http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?sduid=0&t=685367 but it still works and has no known expiration date. I tried it yesterday and received the credit.
If you already have an existing AdWords account, then create a new email address and register again (I'd use different CC number just in case).
When your ad is setup and activated, immeditely go and check your balance. You should see $50 credit applied.
Text from Google:
Special Offer for Yahoo! Small Business customers.
Sign up for Google AdWords and receive $50* worth of targeted advertising.

Did you sign up as the NEW customer? If you used your existing AdWords account Google wouldn't give you the credit.

12-5-2008 worked for me too
I had an existing Gmail account, and divulged it, but did not have a prior AdWords account, and made a new AdWords account with a new username (email address) and password.
My credit showed up about 12 hours later.
Good find! Repped!

I think the whole google ad program is a rip off. You'll go through tis $50 in like a week if your keywords are well known.
Good for some I suppose

I think google is the best.. but it also goes by very fast if you have common words. try narrowing down ur words to something more specific to target your specified audience.

this is dead.
worked for me just now
Didn't work... & Google is ignoring the many upset "new" customers that feel ripped... including myself. I'm still looking for some Adwords codes, it'll make me feel better!

I signed up a few hours ago and verified my account by entering my credit card information and paying the $5 fee.
I still do not see the $50 bonus, for those of you who have received the bonus, how long did it take for it to credit to your account?

I signed up yesterday..no sign of the $50 anywhere. Wondering if this promotion was dead a long time ago perhaps.

So I contacted AdWords support via chat. I was asked to wait at least 36 hours after i signed up for the bonus to credit. So needless to say the bonus never credited after the 36 hours. I contacted AdWords support again and was asked to send them a print screen of my Yahoo Business account summery. So I signed up for a 30 day risk free trial of Yahoo web hosting generated the print screen and emailed it back to AdWords. From there it took about 2.5 days for the bonus to post.

I did a search for a yahoo web hosting 30 day trial, and the one I came accross said that the first month would be free, except for a $8 domain thingie that isnt refundable. Is this the one you tried? I assume if you sign up with your own existing domain then you dont pay anything if you cancel within 30 days?
Just wanted to clearify before trying it out. :)

Does anyone have a direct email for google adwords? I tried to find it on their website, but there didnt seem to be an email option for the billing and payments section. There was other another category, so I messaged them and I got a generic response telling me to try to find my answer on the forum. I doubt anyone on the forum can credit my account. :)
