I signed up for this (and got this) a couple months ago. Since that time the Heritage Foundation has been sending me spam (requests for money, etc) a couple times a month. If you don't mind a letter once or twice a month asking for money, then go for it! Just my 2 cents.

I got this a few months back. Since I signed up I get stuff in the postal mail, like voting ballets and things like that, I don't recall them asking for money which they might do it I just never pay attention. I recieve so much junk email, I don't even open them up most of the time.

So, there was a thread earlier in Hot Deals where someone posted that the Heritage Foundation gives away free pocket-sized copies of the Constitution. People posted how the HF spams you horribly when you fill out the online form. The thread is now gone, I assume because of that spamminess.

There were some teachers on that thread saying it would be useful to them, even with the spam, so... I created a couple of PocketMods of the Constitution and the Amendments, they are attached for download in PDF format and spam-free.

Directions for folding are at the PocketMod website (http://www.pocketmod.com).

You might need to print them at 95% or "fit to page" scaling to get the edges right, depending on your printer.

It's true... I haven't stopped getting conservative propaganda in my snailmailbox since I received my pocket constitution. I'd never have went for it if I knew the garbage they'd be sending me. Not worth it.
