I've been an SDer for a while now, but usually on the other boards. Just got me a 360 so I'm looking for a decent place to get the cheapest used games out there. I used to use GameStop but people have said there are cheaper. Let me know! Thanks in advance :P
Oh yea! Would also appreciate some tips for 360. I still have to buy another controller and my full year of xbox gold, etc. I got the elite holiday pack with the 120 HD and 2 crappy games, so more games is definitely a must. Is there anything else I could do to get "more for less" like codes or deals or certain sites that long timers know to go to?

Gamefly very often have good prices on their used games.
A lot of people would likely recommend Goozex but personally I found it to be taking up a lot of time and you gotta check it every day in order to not miss a trade (if you are the one who's "selling" the game). If you are the one who buys the game then they'll need to answer, if they don't within 24 hours you get pushed back into the queue and gotta wait a few more days. I guess it's good if you do it very often but for the most part I think it's wayyy too time consuming.
Of course there's the regular eBay and Craigslist.

I just started using Goozex, and I'd say it's pretty effective. My main focus was to get rid of old games, and it seemed like a better alternative to taking them in to Gamestop and getting next to nothing for them. I've racked up quite a bit of points in a short time, and I can just save them for when I need another game. I guess cash would be better, but it seemed like an interesting concept, and for the most part it seems like it's doing pretty well.

Friend of mine got me hooked on goozex. Its pretty effective, signing up, you basically can get a free game. If you are looking for selling games for profit, then this might not be the site for you, however, if you are into trading games (and people usually don't like trading PC Games) then this site would work out. I have sent one game, and got anotehr (actually last night, Doom III: RoE.)
and it might be a good site to look up some of those rare type games.

Goozex is going great for me now. I've sent 21 games so far and received 3 (GTA IV, Uncharted, RB6 Vegas 2). It's not a site to make money, but I've been pretty successful in clearing out my original Xbox games.
Doing the math, I've spent about $40 in shipping and I've got more than enough points for another game to come in. So that works out to about $10 for each of those games (plus one).

:( this went from a game site discussion to a discussion about goozex. Unfortunately I don't want to trade, I just want to buy pre-playeds at a decent price. Any more suggestions before I request the thread locked would be sweet, as well as any "tips" etc. Thanks @ ConFu for suggestion Gamefly, I like their prices, but their selection is limited, very limited.

theres not many decent place online to buy used games unfortunetly, as you asked in your post, where to get cheap used game for your 360 other than gamestop. goozex is a good all around website for prolly what your looking for.
