While visiting this site lately, I'm getting a lot of hits that say ...something about blocking:

What's up with this?

Avenue A is an ad-serving company. The alert you're getting is from a cookie it places on your computer to let it know it's served you an ad already.

I'd suggest ignoring it, or using a different spyware detector (other than adaware). We've gotten these same Avenue A reports on a board that I mod. They're false alarms...

Avenue A, Inc. serves some of the banner ads at the top. You're welcome to block off the banner ads if it annoys you.

Aaaah, okay. I'm using SpyBot (quite awesome), and I always like to know what's being blocked. Not that I care about the ad ...just wanted to make sure that something isn't trying to backdoor my machine ;)
