And Radio Shack is one of the easiest stores to get a BF deal at. Last year, I went to Staples and it was a zoo, I went to Radio Shack in the same strip and there were maybe 3 people in there. (I'm pretty much retired from going to BB or CC on BF.)

you can go to a radioshack right now and buy a 50 dollar gift card and they give you a 10 dollar one for free. It is supposed to be a last minute offer if you leave the store without nothing. Just go in and say someone mentioned a free 10 dollar gift card with purchase of 50 dollar one and they should know what you are talking about. If I recall correctly there is no maximum amount you can purchase just do it in 50 dollar increments, it might have to be done on multiple tickets though.. Good luck!

Mio 500 is a great deal if you want a cheap GPS. If you want a decent GPS the Garmin 250W is a better buy but I'd get a better one if I was you (hint: Mio GPS's are not updatable as yet).

As a RS insider, I've gotta say- don't be cynical about us just yet:
- HINT: I can't say exactly, but there will be more specials than in that PDF- for example, and this is all I can say: "the major product categories covered in the BF ad will have relevant accessory deals."
And they'll be good, too.

So definitely come see us on BF.

One thing I'll tell you guys for free (since I love these forums): There's no such thing as an early bird price at RS. 1. Yes, and no- you can get the 50/10 deal ,but it's probably not valid on the same day. Not sure though.
2. You can use the coupon with BF, yes. I'd let you if it was my store. If there's a restriction they haven't told me. Just make sure the coupon is valid!
3. Yes, Even if the 50/10 is valid on BF, I guarantee you can't do both- I believe it says on the coupon- "Not valid combined with any other offer", or words to that effect.

I'd use the coupon and keep the GC for later.

Just got confirmation today the GC's aren't usable on BF and that there's a limit of 1 per customer- so bring your partner at least :) (Plus, we can't run out of GC's.)

Any idea if the AOC 32" TV is any good? It's not bad for the money but there are better deals out there. I got two from staples doorbusters last year. Sold both shortly after I learned more about AOC. I didn't have any problems except to call support and find out they have like one guy on the west coast. And if you need repairs they make you pay for shipping both ways to East coast. I'd stay away from AOC Envision when quality 32inchers are common at this price.

That gateway laptop is interesting, I'd like to see more specs. I wish my cheap HP had HDMI out. And one more thing, employees at Radio Shack say they don't match their website prices so don't count on all the online prices in store.

well i was finally successful pulling this one off:

So basically I got the 8GB Fuze for the price that the 4GB was going for. I did get turned down at one store where the manager refused to let me use the coupon saying it wasn't valid on sale items. So yeah i wasted a little gas chasing down the deal and having to put up with incompetent sales associates who were just hired yesterday wasn't fun. Plus Radio Shack is just simply not a store that is equipped to handle a Black Friday crowd. It was painful.

Got denied today trying to use the $10 coupon. Even spoke to the store manager. He said I could use it on anything except Black Friday sale items because of the restriction on the coupon about not for use on items already discounted.

Still a good deal for the Uniden phones, though.

went to another store and they said no problem, i don't have to activate inside the store, i can have it for either $5 with $25 airtime or for $10 without airtime. i chose no airtime and the clerk had trouble with the register. could not get $10 in the computer and was told by her coworkers the only way to get it is with airtime, or else it's $40 or $30. not only radioshack sells overpriced crap, they also falsely advertise to get ppl to buy their crap.

They were wrong. Specifically for the a137 we were supposed to give the customer a guide on how they can activate. I sold 2 a137s with the $25 top ups unactivated for the sale price of $5. I also sold a few a137s with no airtime which was $10.
