My local computer shop has a black friday event going on. The deal seems pretty good, too bad its retail storefront only, no internet, and they only have it at the location in the Washington DC area.
http://www.cedarpc.com/fridayspecials/
Some examples are:
Acer AOA ATOM 1GB - 120GB - XP Home $299
Samsung 24" LCD Monitor for $149
Dell Inspiron 1525 Pentium Duo Core 2GB 160GB DVDRW Vista $299
Just thought that if you're in the area, might be interesting to check out

Best prices of Black Friday so far. I wish one of these places was where I live, I think we should all road trip to this place and say f*** you to the corporate stores that have not decreased their BF prices in two years.

They've only had the location for about 6 months or so. They used to only have their Vienna location. Say hi to the owner John. He is a nice guy. Their prices have been below Circuit City and the others for years. If you were to do a froogle search for laptops like Dell XPS M1330 you would find they are at the very top for best prices even for online and they were in your area all along.

I checked the quantity and did physical confirmation. They have 30+ of each item in stock. I'll ask permissions to take photos of their warehouse and I'll post it here soon.

They'll have a lot. You don't advertise to all of Nova on Washington Post and then skimp on the good deals.

Ok, i just talked to a few guys at the store; like it was stated before they have 30+ of each item however you are limited to one item among all the " * limit 1 per customer " stuff although that might just be the guy misinterpreting the fine print.
I was also told that it would not be the samsung 24in lcd (did not see any instore) - replaced by the dell s2409 regular price 300$.
I do believe I'm going to there a few hours early. To any SDers I'll be the guy with the archos 5 watching boston legal for the first time to keep my occupied.

FYI: From someone who was there....
I was 10th in line of about 200 people when the doors opened. I got there at 2AM. They handed out coupons, but the coupons didn’t say what you were getting! The major upset was that you could only get 1 of the door busters (the started items), not 1 of each, but only 1 total. That really sucked and many people got upset from there misleading ad. To make matters worse, they had several typos on their flyer. Such as the monitor was a Dell, not a Samsung and some items where suppose to have a star next to them but didn't. Even though it was their fault they didn't honor it.
I live 10 min away from this place, but would never go to shop regular retail there. They were very unorganized and from what I experienced poor customer service. I did get my item, but only 1 of the 4 I had planned to buy.
One thing on the plus side was they did have a lot of the door busters. 40+ laptops and 24" LCDs, which is more than double that many chain electronic stores would have.

I was about 40th in line after coming around 1h and 15mins before opening time.
I managed to get the dell 24in.
I knew about the right to only get one star marked item beforehand, but I agree they should have specified the limit of 1 for all the doorbusters. But this at least allowed a lot more people to get something good.
As for the coupons, it seemed that they checked the numbers against a list they had in the store. However it annoyed me that they didnt start handing the coupons out earlier; to make matters worse they had two people giving out the coupons and depending on the items you wanted since each had the only coupons for a specific item you could have had no choice in what you wanted if you passed on what the first person had.
True, some of the items were not what was advertised, but the dell was an upgrade and from what i understood instead of a 4GB nano they gave the 8GB for the same price.
now I wonder if I should have gotten the mac mini for 399 in addition to the monitor.

stop whining, I thought it was clear that it was one doorbuster per person, and I think I saw maybe one, two people total who were upset about it, most were happy to get in on the good deal. It was explained that they didn't have as many Samsungs as Dells so thye were upgrading to a better monitor so more people could get in on the deal, it wasn't a typo, it was a free upgrade. I was 25th in line ar ~4am and picked up the 24'' 1080p dell for $150 and couldn't be happier...

I agreed with you JBrinley. Around 6am, 2 employees came out and started to ask each customers what they need so they could give the right ticket for that items. They also said that the one has star * is limited one per customers, and the one has no star * no need ticket we still can get it. They lied. I told them I want a dell 1525 and they gave me a their employees gave me the ticket for 8gb ipod nano, which is not listed on the flyer and of course I have no interesting to buy ipod. Samething happened to one of the customer right next to me. He wanted a 24" monitor, they gave him a ticket for Apple Desktop. The company tried to swindle us to buy what we don't need. I got there around 3am and customer 29th. They told me laptops for 1525 sold out. The owner wasn't a nice guy at all. I saw one of their employees swapped Dell Studio 1535 for Dell Inspiron 1525 and gave it to him and told him to keep it down. This is unfair and need to be reported. I knew some customers were upset went they got in there and their tickets were told to be wrong for the items. I will take this company to court and asked them to play the video surveillance and I will point out the mistakes they have made. The owner has no managements skills and their employees have no customer service skill either. They didn't know how to run business. They told me it's human errors and who paid for the errors they had made. We are!

They asked me what I want to buy. I told them Dell Inspiron 1525. They gave me ticket for 8gb ipod. I went inside to the warehouse and pick it up. they gave me a laptop. However, the cashier told me that my ticket was wrong. This is really B.S. You're one lucky customer and don't have to face them when they made mistake. From the owner to their employees turned out very ugly. So many people want to sue this company for lying on their ads and defraud customers.

I got there 3am and number 29th. I'm preparing to file a case against this company. They took my ticket back and kicked me out the store. The owner also realized that his employees were the one who made the mistake. He ignored me when I approached him to solve the problem.

This is a good idea. They should posted how many items they have in the warehouse. So whoever got their first will get what they want. They keep it down until the customers got in the stores and they said, it's sold out. I knew a few customers prepare to sue this company for trying to defraud the customers.

First of all, the samsungs were a lot nicer than the dells. So that wasnt an upgrade.
Second, the Dell 1525 laptops are refurbs!!! That really pisses me off...
