AfterCapture and its parent Rangefinder (http://www.rangefindermag.com/Subscribe.aspx), have both always been free in print, AFAIK

These are great Thick photo magazines, even if your not having visions of going pro, the pictures and Photoshop Tips are great.

Better than anything I've seen on a shelf, and they are Free!
