If you're in need of a bluray player as well, maybe you can try this deal here (http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?t=1010153). I haven't seen any BF ads with those models yet.

I'm looking for these exact models (or the 630 with the matte screen). The best price I have seen is on Amazon, but it seems that has gone up in recent days. They do offer free white glove service on all HDTV purchases larger than 27".

630 has only 40000:1 on contrast ratio instead of 50000:1, i dont think the glare is a problem for me since i wanna place the tv in the basement

Sears has the LN52A650 for $2099 on Friday/Saturday (11/26 & 11/27)
The 650 has a better image than the 630 if you follow the forums at avsforum.com .
I just bought this TV at Sears and it's simply amazing. Highly recommended. I did a $1999 price match to Frys.

Oh yeah, and 10% off if you use a Sears card to buy. See the ad in the Black Friday forums here.

In Fry's the price for LN52a650 has been increased to $2099.94, so it's better to buy it in Amazon for $2066 with Samsung Bluray Player( Free Shipping and No Tax)

If you are looking at dynamic contrast ratio....
then you have no idea what tv is about.

dynamic contrast ratio is overrated
not only that there is no standard way of measuring contrast ratio

so ... its a random defined contrast ratio

Do you live near a Fred Meyer? I think that they are just on the west coast but they had some great deals on HDTV's. They have a 32" Samsung 720p for $549.99 and I just bought a Samsung LN40A550 for $899.99. They had a 50 and 52 inch advertised but I don't remember how much. They are the cheapest retailer I have found so far.

Intense. I know an insider at Samsung who can get the 950 for 2800. The 850 isn't bad either.

Frys.com dropped their LN52A750 price to $1999.98 today!
http://shop2.frys.com/product/5574930?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

I had bought this model two weeks ago from CC doing a price match + 10% deal from Frys.com, which I thought was a good deal, but today I just got $311 back on my credit card by using their 60 day price guarantee.

One note, they had to call the local Frys store (Renton, WA) to confirm that one could get the Frys.com price if they were to just walk into the store.

AWESOME TV. Best HDTV quality I've seen, and the ethernet connection is so sweet. I have all our family movies encoded to divx on a shared drive in the house and now I can access them via the TV!

Just wait. If companies still post bad sales reports, these tvs will come down. Also check out amazon warehouse deals.

I dont mean to get off topic, but let me just tell you the 950 series is the most amazing TV ever! A friend just got the 55a950 and after watching blu-ray on it I wanted to come home and throw my 65" Mitsu 1080pDLP (bought in feb of this year) out. It literally is night and day. I agree the 650 is a nice set, but if you see the 950 series you would forget the 650 ever existed!

Good to hear that the ethernet connection works well. That feature is the reason I'm going with the 750 instead of the 650. I'm going to hold out for a better deal..

FWIW I was able to get the 750 for $2199 in JUNE and I believe they were advertising it for $2699 that week. I just talked to the sales manager at Circuit City. I ended up getting a warranty (4 year) for $150 which was supposed to be $360. All in all I walked out of there pretty damn happy. The TV is fantastic.
