Sorry if their is already a thread like this, I haven't seen it yet.

So what are you all planning on getting or got on BF?

I know I'm going to go to Staples to get 4 of the 8GB Sandisk Thumb Drives...And maybe one of the office chairs at staples or the one at office max...Then I'm going to head over to Fred Myers for some free coffee and Donuts Holes :) The I might as well hit up costco and say hi to my mom and get some more free food...What about you?

Ok well I ended up with...

1 Nightmare -- Free
2Hours of sleep -- Wanted 50% more
4 Sandisk 8gb Thumb Drives -- $13
12 Pairs of Nike Socks -- 50% off
Free Donuts -- Free

And a trip to all of the stores 2 times, just to find out I could have slept till 8am and still gotten everything I wanted. Lots of people, no one was buying anything though...other then at costco, I wondered why there were 2 people waiting in line at costco at 5am, and they were still there at 8am...Well they had 37 Inch Vizio LCD 720P TVs for $500! (Pallets full of them were gone in 10 mins while I was standing watching people fight for them!) Other then that my bestbuy had everything that was in the ad (besides door buster) at 8am, and lots of them!

So I would say this wasn't a good BF for the Country but I did pretty good!...Still wanted some Logitech z 2300's

Sports Authority for free gift card, some new sneakers for me and wife and a set of Cobra 2 Way Radios.

Then to Office Depot for the 16gb USB Drive and hopefully the Seagate external hard drive.

Maybe Sams by 0800 for some free breakfast and then home to take a nap.

1000 or 1100 pick up my Mom and head down to Burlington Coat Factory for them and Compusa for me.

I got a Samsung LN40A550 for a total of ~$700 after my cashback goes through. Got a PS3 for $250.

On Black Friday itself I got the last $30 Dualshock 3 controller at the second Radio Shack I visited (first one was out) and I got Madden '09 for $30 from Wal-Mart before I saw the Amazon deal (could have avoided the taxes). Ended up getting Soul Calibur IV at Amazon for $38.

Overall, not bad I think for a first timer trying to do the Black Friday thing with SD's help.

The Wal-Mart I went to in CT was pretty bustling though. The line for the cashiers at the electronics section was long and filled with people buying HDTVs and pretty much the entire store was packed with shoppers. They even had a long line after you were done buying to get your receipt checked on the way out. So seems it was a good BF for that Wal-Mart at least. Felt bad for the workers though, people were destroying the store, picking up stuff and leaving them everywhere but where they got them. Total disrespect.

4x$9.99 4GB microSDHC cards.

Hehe... Just checked the plastic bag and there were actually five cards in there. :woot:

The girl at the counter was really busy and I accidentally had grabbed five cards instead of four and told her to just ring up four. She did, but I guess she accidentally threw also the fifth one in the bag.

Well I got back from our first run in our local area of Port Richey, FL. We showed up at Sports Authority at 445am and we were the 98th and 99th people in line so we both got free scratch off gift cards. Ours were only $10 each, but some lady in front of us got $300 on hers, pretty sweet.

I got 2 new pairs of Nike sneakers for $40. They were supposed to be buy one get one 50% off but we realized when we got home that the cashier didn't even ring up my 2nd pair. We got also 2 sets of the Cobra 2 Way Radios for $24.99, they are sweet. I'm keeping one pair for myself and 1 pair for my impossible to buy for Dad. He will love it to keep in touch with my Mom when they go shopping. My wife got a yoga mat for free basically with our 2 gift cards. Everyone there was really helpful and cool and the other shoppers were very friendly. Great experience.

Then we hit Office Depot at 545am. We wanted the 16GB USB Flash Drive for $29. They had them under lock and key and a group was hanging around the case waiting for an employee to unlock them. Next to me and my wife there was this young scruffy looking annoying couple who must have mentioned that they were first in line about 27 times. There were enough USB drives to go around and no way to make an actual line in that cramped aisle. The guy finally opens the case and of course they have to mention that they were first another 6 times and how they should get the first one, like it makes a friggin difference.

So then we got in line. Now these 2 assholes had their Mom already in line ahead of us by about 20 people. Apparently they were holding up the line waiting for them to get their USB Drive. Then we are standing in line for like 20 minutes and it isn't moving and we are WTF is going on?

It turns out these two pricks were up at the cash register going through the flyer and having the cashier leave the register to go track down stuff they wanted. WTF gets in line with nothing and has the cashier get everything for them? Meanwhile the line didn't move while everyone in the store waited for these 2 shitheads to get everything they wanted.

Apparently because these 2 morons camped out for 10 hours they think its everyone in the store's job to cater to them and let everyone else stand in line while they get everything they want. If I ever see these 2 whiny biatches again, they better watch their ass. We were in line from 610am to 655am and there were only like 20 people ahead of us. Apparently people behind the 2 shitheads saw what they were doing and decided they too wanted to have the cashier run around for them. What a mess. I will never go to Office Depot on Black Friday again. We got our 16GB Flash Drive for $29 but it was not worth it.

Then we went to Staples and they were sold out of the Western Digital 640GB hard drives and then Lowes was sold out of the Black & Decker utility cabinets. Overall we did good thanks to Sports Authority but that dump Office Depot really screwed us over and wasted our time.

Time to take a nap and later I am taking my wife and Mom down to Burlington Coat Factory while I search for another hard drive deal.

Special thanks to the helpful kid at Sports Authority, he was awesome!

So far (9:56 AM):
I bought Fallout 3 for PS3 for $40 + free 2-day shipping (www.amazon.com).
Unfortunately, I'm stuck at work today so I could not go ravenging the malls, stores, etc.. Luckily I have been able to browse this great site for some of the best deals. :bounce:

*Personal opinion: As far as I can tell there should be some good deals all the way through Christmas/New Year, so I'm not incredibly worried. I just really miss getting up at 4AM to kick off my Christmas season.
Merry Christmas to everyone! Remember to spread cheer and be thankful to live in this wonderful country, no matter what your political views are! God Bless America!

I just got back from going out again. This time I went to Super WalMart. I didn't get anything because I accidentally knocked over this Hannah Montana display thing near the toy section and it landed on this MILF and her daughter. So, I just left the store before they could find out who did it. Going out again soon.

Pretty Lame.

Went to Aafes to get the 20 dollar gift card.

Then went to JC Penney's to get my girl some threadz and a cheap coat (which is nice).

Then went to Office Depot and scored some Extreme II SDHC 4GB Cards for 14 dollars. 1 left when I got out of the store, and I think they only had about 5 or 6 total, so that was good.

Then headed to target and was put off by the epic hysteria.

For kicks, While I am a BF veteran w/ 1 Yellow and blue Heart (first in line @ BB) , I went to BB at around 4:59 just to see the epic n00bs try to cut the line at the front. It was a sight to see. Many "creepers" tried to sneak up to the door, with one guy running into the line. They actually stopped the flow of traffic just to root this individual out, which was a first.

Let's see, I finally jumped in on the Guitar Hero bandwagon, got World Tour Guitar kit for $59, and GHIII: Legends of Rock guitar kit at TRU for $50 (extremely pissed that they are OOS at the website, because it would have been $25 w/paypal, and I stood in line 2 hours for it.

For the GF, I got a pair of 1/4 ctw diamond earrings for $54 after Kohl's Cash, a Down comforter for $19 after Kohl's Cash and some 23 piece cookware set called "The Big One" for $35 AR and Kohl's Cash (that was my best deal).

I also picked up Spiderman 2 and Inside Man for $4, Super Monkey Ball for Wii for $10, and Family Guy Vol. 5 at CC for $15. Slow year this year, I spent over $1,000 last year.

Ahh yes you are right. Hmm, I really wanted it to do some reinstalling on my laptop this weekend. I am going out again in a while. If I see that Seagate 500gb for the same price I may grab it. The 640GB is the best deal but at that many GB's I don't know if I will miss 140.

Thanks for the heads up. :bounce:

Walmart: Stopped in there at 5:30 for a few little things, but decided it was not worth the wait.

Home Depot: 5' latter, ryobi combo kit w/ extra batteries for free, milwaukee drill kit, tool box, and something else. A little mad at myself, put a patio heater for $60 in the cart and took it out. Found out while talking to someone in the lot that it was mispriced!!

Lowes: 2 shop vac, dewalt drill kit, cheap precision kit. Got a $10 coupon so went back in a used it on the dewalt drill making it $87!

Target: COD5 and Midnight Club.

Forgot: Late last night, Ordered the camera printer deal from Office Max online using my USbank card so that I can get an 12% cashback and it saved me a trip.

Now time for the online deals.

I slept later than I have in months. Got about 400 extra winks! Lamest BF ever. Hit the CVS on Thursday and cleaned up. Thank god for CVS or this whole thing would have been a total waste. I hope these companies who baited and switched (Ace hardware shipped TWO, yes TWO of the $50 digital frames to each store) go under. As if I'm gonna be third in line and not get a frame, but I'd go buy a bunch of overpriced crap??? I do plan to make a beer run sometime today since there's some great football this weekend.

I got my laptop earlier this week at BB. And wasn't really thrilled about any of the other BF "deals" I saw.

We were at the Westminster, MD Target at 5:40AM with about 800 other people. Got some cheap DVDs, Juno, Annie, Polar Express, Madagascar for 3.98 or 5.98. Got the 7" Kodak digital picture frame for $60 (I've had bad luck with the no name picture frames).
Went to Toys R Us and got Little Tikes Dump Truck, 2 Crayola Art Sets, 101 Dalmations DVD for $10 each. A kid guitar for $20. Lots of cheap stuff there.

Got the $1.99 HDMI cable from Newegg
Got $19.99 4GB DDR2-800 PC6400 RAM from Frys
Got $179+tax Garmin 260W GPS from BB on line.
Every thing was free shipping.
Also 12 hours of sleep, woke-up at 9AM this morning. I was used to spending $1,000 on Black Fridays, this year the deals suck so much that it is worth saving the money for after Christmas liquidations.
Retailers like Best Buy you can suck-it-up, no deals no sales.

Decided to sleep in until 6:30am since I figured what I wanted to buy wouldn't sell out.

- Sansa Fuze 8gb (for the bf) - $69.99 at BB -- came home to find that Amazon had miraculously restocked it in about 7 hours (oos at 1am) and that I could've avoided paying tax - nbd tho since he can return it/exchange if it he doesn't like it
- Plush men's bathrobe (for the bf) - $29.99 at Target - was hoping this would go on sale for bf but it didn't, would've waited longer but it was the last one in stock in his size
- Candy Land ($5) and Sorry ($10) at Target
- HP Pavilion Slimline desktop and printer (HPshopping.com) for $214.99 after instant discount (-$100) Coupon (-$30) Live cashback (-$105)
- Samsung 22" monitor for $153.76 (Newegg) after BF coupon (-$20) mail in rebate rebate (- $50) and Live cashback (-$6.32)
- Wii speak $27.54 at Buy.com (after 5% coupon) and free shipping - trying to get live.com cashback to work on it
- 300 at Target for $5.98
- Bank Job at BB for $5.99 I think
- DS game 2-pack (Xiao Lin/Avatar) $19.99 at BB
- 2 pack sheet set (300 thread count) for $39.99 at Target
- Cooking Mama for Wii $14.95 (FS w/ Prime) on Amazon.com

Previously purchased:
- James Bond 007 Collector's Set (21 movies) for $89.95 on Amazon (Gold Box deal)

Pretty much done buying in stores for today I think.

Got a JVC HDD camcorder "330" model price matched to Fry's for $247 (regular price was $399). They had a similar JVC camcorder "230" model for $250.
Also got Transformer on BluRay PMed at walmart for 9.99.

4 GB microSD card for $10
Office chair for $60

and some other little stuff.....got what I wanted.

Got woken up around 4:00 by what sounded like a herd of rhino's barreling down the stairs in my apt building (BF strike team???). I had intended not to get up until 5:30, but hey, I was awake. Got up, took care of my dogs. Checked online for any late breaking reports and left the house at 6:30 as I had to take my car into service at the dealer.

Sunce it was on my way, I swung by PepBoys and got the $2.98 after rebate recharchable light, Stopped at Homey Depot figuring ' ah what the heck'. Much to my surprise they had plenty of the $60 Ryobi kit's left. Grabbed one of those and chose the free impact driver. Kinda made up for the rude awakening.

Dropped my car of and wangled a loaner out of them, so I went by Ace on the way home for their dog beds and stanley tools which they had still. Final stop at Walgreens at 9:01 for the 9.99 aftre MIR griddle and blender. Two of each on the shelf before I grabbed half of that,.

Ace and Walgreens rebates already submitted online. PepBoys one is ready to post.

I had a thoroughly pleasant BF experience. No lines, no crowds and got what I had put on the list to check for. My only complaints was that herd of rhino's waking me an hour earlier than needed.

I opted to stay away from BB, CC, Staples, OD and *Mart/Target... :)

Thank god for amazon for a couple bucks more got the sony bdp-s350 with an hdmi for $200 free shipping ...

CC is dumb. We used to do that kinda stuff too. Only we were smart enough to manually type in "Special price bundled with warranty." "Items must be purchased/returned together"

Word to the Wise: Extended warranties have great margins, so the fact that you are buying one gives you a great advantage in pricing in many stores. Use it to your advantage.

$388 32 inch samsung lcd, $299 toshiba laptop, $40 MOTOPURE headset at fry's....6 pairs of jeans from random stores at westminster mall, CA....and a cute girl's phone number @ pacsun. went to CC for bioschok (sold out), went to radioshack for DS3 (sold out), went to target for deadspace (soldout)....o well

Take your Radio Shack ad to Walmart, they will price match, I did it this morning.

They had like 20 DS3s on the shelf because nobody is buying them.

Its well worth another trip out of the house, IMO.

Only thing I bought was the 640 gig drives at staples, got one of those and a spool of 50 dvd-r. We were all done by 7.

I was going to call out of work, but thought the specials this year were pretty crappy. Are the businesses even trying to get out of the red? Anyway, The only thing I saw that I might want was a Sharp 22" flat HDTV/DVD combo from Best Buy for $3.49, only 8 per store. I wasn't gonna wait 6 hours just tosave $150. Then I looked on the Best Buy website & got the same unit for the black friday price with free shipping. I ordered it & saved 6 hours fight coldness and tiredness.

So I would say this wasn't a good BF for the Country but I did pretty good!...Still wanted some Logitech z 2300's :(

Wow! You guys really cleaned up!! I was bought a XBox 360 yesterday so I went out and caught some of the good deals. I got Dead Rising at CC for $9.99, Dead Space at Target (waited in line for 2 hours) for $30, and spent $49.99 for Left 4 Dead at Gamestop. I spent $90 plus tax, savings of $50.

I also bought an UnderArmour compression turtle neck, or mock neck for $29.99, normally $35 at the outlet where I got it, but $49.99 in retail stores.

But, I had a blast braving traffic at 1:30am and swarms of others outlet shopping. I hit American Apparel but all the clothes there looked warped or worn. And I refused to wait in line to get into Diesel, primarily because my asthma was acting up in the cold, but also because even with the extra 20% off, I'd still probably spend well over %100 there had I bought anything.

I had fun (all except for the panic of asthma). The people at Target were very cool and patient and so too were the employees. They let us wait inside to buy our electronics, when I could have easily been waiting outside at Circuit City. By the time I was dones there, there was no line at CC anymore. I didn't even wait in line at CC or Gamestop, or UnderArmour for that matter.

Woke up at 3a.m. this morning and got Fallout 3 and Left 4 Dead for the XBOX 360 off Amazon for $40 a piece.

Drove to Office Depot and got a Garmin 255W for $149 using the $50 off Garmin product Best Buy Coupon.

Walked into Belk's at around 11a.m. and bought 12 clearance watches (DKNY, Nautica, & Kenneth Cole) for $24.99 a piece (Doorbuster). All of their clearance watches, no matter the original price, were $24.99 and the doorbuster signage was positioned where you couldn't tell which cases were included. So, I had a pretty good selection to choose from once I confirmed which cases were actually part of the doorbuster special. Also, I got an additional 15% for using my Belk's card. No kidding, my receipt said I saved $1057.60 off that purchase...and that was all I bought there!

So yeah, I had a pretty "slick" Black Friday!

First time I have ever done BF. And did it at Walmart....

Pro: Not a INSANE thousands of people, but I would say close to 800 in line.
Con: I live in Alaska! Must have been about 5 degrees outside.

And seriously, no wonder that man died at Walmart down there. That is a horrilble story. I couldn't believe all they do is open the doors, and let everybody just go nuts! They did hand out little maps to us standing in line, but they were wrong....

On strange thing, is thay all the Employee's were freaking NICE! That is the main reason I do not shop at Walmart because of their employee's.

Anyways I got:

Guitar Hero WT band kit for PS3 ($140) They matched Fred Meyer's (Northwest Store) 20% off of all games, and they guy did the math wrong, in my favor;)
NFL Head Coach 09 ($10)
Madden 09 ($30)
PS3 Dualshock ($30)

So all that for $210, I was pretty happy.

Another slickdeals success story. :D

The big item I got was a new treadmill. I got a Sole F63 for $999.99 with a free LCD 15" TV/DVD player and stand and 18 months no interest. The free LCD ($350 value) and 18 months no interest were the Black Friday perks. I've simply worn out my old treadmill. I think the issue is with the front roller but it really isn't worth fixing. I would have to get a new belt shortly. I am going to see if my Mastercard extended the warranty. If it does, I will have it fixed and resell it. Otherwise, I will either donate it or give it away.

Best other deal I got was a Dualshock 3 PS3 Controller for $29.99. Radio Shack advertised them and Walmart matched the price for me. I use the PS3 for movies and have a remote but it sometimes requires the controller to do stuff and the wired one is only about 3 feet long.

I spent some money at Bath and Body Works. Got B1G1 1/2 price reed diffusers. I had a $10 off $30 and got a free room spray. I also picked up the $15 VIP bag. Over $100 worth of stuff. I will trade out some of the stuff for scents I like.

I also got some Blurays and DVDs and got the free ornament at Cost Plus World Market. Picked up a couple of things at Ulta with a $3.50 off $10 coupon.

We woke up late, I tried to bail and just stay asleep but DH wanted to go out. We hit Staples at around 6:30 and the line was already snaked through the store so we left. DH got the external hard drive he wanted online later in the day for the same price, plus two of the 8GB flash drives and used a $25 off $100 coupon so it was even slicker that way.

We hit Kohl's for reed diffusers for the Grandma's, some Wii games for the little nephews, and a watch for his dad. Also picked up a luggage set for my Bro who just started travelling for business.

JCPenney's for $4 pillows and a $20 velour track suit for me. Then Sam's Club for the Garmin 750 for $198.

Later in the day went to Linens N Things to spend a merchandise credit I had before it's too late. That place sucks - no wonder they're going out of business with their crappy prices! Took us three trips to the register to find something worth buying - even their going out of business prices were too high!

- Wanted some Energie Jeans, but decided 70 was still too high. Rock and Republics still almost 100, no go.
- Settled for a Monarchy Hoodie. Couldn't find one.
- Settled for a Monarchy shirt. Only 30 dollars, great steal (regularly 74.00, sale price 40.00, discounted to 30.00).

All in all, I'm happy.

had a great BF! quality time with my daughters, 60 degrees and sunny- and scored:

-a bunch of stacked coupons and discounts at Express-$466 reduced to $216
t-he SD express shirt deal from earlier this week-retail $200 reduced to $80
-5 $3.98 DVDs at Target
-70% off the clothes I wanted at Macy's- BF 20% stacked with prior discount and coupons
-4 $5 album downloads from Amazon
-Keurig B 70 coffee maker at Bed/Bath/Beyond- retail $229, ended up $109 because I found a scratch on it and used the early bird discount and some old coupons

no electronics this year, which I think helped...I didn't even go to BB or CC.

Wow, I'd have gone for that, too, but I didn't go to Walmart.

Instead, my son and I braved the AAFES PX at the nearby AFB. Arrived at 1230am for a 400am opening. The first 100 persons were supposed to receive $20.00 GC and because we were approximately 27/28 in line, we received one each. My son did most of the waiting because we found ourselves between the nicest persons before and after us and I guess my son was entertained enough with chatter while I made my coffee run and even returned to my car to sleep a bit. At a little after 3pm, we were let in to reconstitute the line inside and wait while the cards were passed out and we also received $10 off coupons for purchase that day. Waited again until 4am when we were allowed in the actual store.

Goodies we bought:
XBOX 360 60 GB bundle w/3 games, year subscripion to MS Live, and 1600 MS points for
$299.00 minus $40 (GCS) and $10.00 coupon Total cost: $249.00 flat :)

HP Laptop $449.00 minus $10 coupon minus $100 MIR for total cost: $339.00 plus .42-cent stamp ;)

Sharp AQUOS BLU Ray DVD player $169.00 minus $10 coupon for Total $159.00 flat
Note: I may not keep this item; I caught a temporary case of delirious bargain fever. (shakes head)

And, while I was still under the spell, I picked up a DR. Scholl's Foot Spa for $9.99. This was not planned and I don't know if it's a bargain or not!!! :)

The afternoon after sleeping was a downer. My car battery died TWICE at CVS, My CVS coupons were in chaos and the only things I bought were TP, Colgate Toothpaste with online printed coupon (ECB), Schick razor (ECB), and Gatorade beverage (ECB) topped off with a 3/$15 CVS coupon linked to my ECB card. It was expiring on 01DEC so, had to put it to good use but I gotta get my groove back!!

HHGregg- Samsung 10.2MP Digicam $99; Sandisk Sansa Fuze 4gb MP3 Player $49

Macy's- 2 Sean John dress shirts 75% off @ 14.87 each; Furry boots for the wife $24 (reg. $60); Nice Sweater for the baby $5.72, jumpsuit for the baby $8.50

Dick's Sporting Goods- Waste of my time. I already had a $10 of $50 coupon, so I went ahead and used that on some new crocs for the kid, and some workout gear. But their specials were worthless.

All in all, I'm actually pretty happy. the lines were so short in NW Indianapolis, that it wasn't even a hassle. Then again, as you can see, I stayed away from best buy, target, and wal-mart.

I went to Menlo Mall and got the following from Bath & Body Works:
12 wallflowers, vip bag ( re-gifting 85% of it), 1 lotion, make-up bag, 2 sleep masks and $20 off. The vip bag should've been free but whatever!

Lane bryant:
3 pairs of jeans, 1 pair of slacks and 2 shirts. All bogo/b1g1, got $50 off.

Disney store:
3 pair of pj's for my nieces & nephew. Lame sale but not more than $25 for all.

I actually wanted 2 32inch Samsung lcd Tv's but decided to just get things I could carry on the train. I think I did ok, I'm happy I didn't get up at 4am to be disappointed like so many others. Maybe after X-mas we'll see better deals!

I went to a bunch of different stores after the rush and they had NOTHING that I would have purchased. Their so-called "Deals" were HORRIBLE.

Only thing I bought was 1 pair of jeans for $19.99 at JCP. Worst BF ever.

First, I wanted to start the day at Office Depot. Got the last 'ticket' for the $350 HP laptop, until the CSR says they are sold out. Of course, they happened to print one extra ticket next to the display - just my luck.

Next, I go to Circuit City. Just so happens, the store is closing (I came home from college, so I was oblivious) and the liquidation prices are laughable - far worse than a 'typical' CC's Black Friday prices. I felt sorry for all the people shopping there, since it was the most packed store of all!

Now, I decide to swing around to Wal-Mart to possibly pick up the $398 HP desktop. No luck there....*sigh* So, I take a break at Starbucks before heading out to BestBuy to go for the $300 desktop. I assumed laptops and HDTVs were the hot deals, and a cheap desktop would go unnoticed. Boy, was I wrong...so wrong. So I decide...blah with electronics - let's go for clothes.

Finish my day off with a trip to TJ Maxx and score 2 pairs of Kenneth Cole dress pants, 1 pair of Perry Ellis dress pants, and two ties for ~100. Cool. I go home and check SlickDeals...HP 40% cashback? Not even going to try. 30% eBay cashback? Nice. I snag a BB sports coat for $45 after cash back and 7 Ralph Lauren Polos for $100 after cash back. Feels good man.

Total Haul:

7 Ralph Lauren Polos
2 Kenneth Cole Dress Pants
2 Geoffrey Beene/Nautica Silk Ties
1 Perry Ellis Dress Pants
1 Brooks Brothers Sportscoat

Total: $310 out the door, $250 after cash back.

Not bad...

I woke up at the mother in law's house with an urge to check out the carnage. It was already 5:15 so I slipped out quietly with plans to do nothing more than go for a ride. Mallville was madness of course but Meijer seemed to have mellowed out. I parked and walked in. Asked the greeter "Where are the big tv's?" He laughed and said "You're too late. They're all right there." And pointed to the line at the register. So I said, "OK, where were the big tv's?" He said, "Frozen food." I said, "Of course!" Like everyone else I prefer my tv chilled. I walked back there and found two lonely 42" plasmas and decided to adopt one for $499. Jammed it in the car, drove back and hopped in the bed. Half hour later my wife wakes up upset that she was so late to go shopping. So I casually mentioned that I had already been up...

Not too sure about this tv though.

Nothing too great here. Went to the outlets at midnight and picked up a couple toys at the Disney Store for an extra 20% off. Also picked up a couple sweaters for family Christmas pictures at Tommy Hilfiger since the whole store was an extra 50% off

Went to Walmart at 4:15 am. It's a 24 hour store and was open, so everyone was already inside huddled around pallets. I wanted to pick up the digital camera, but was told go to electronics, then go to the old layaway counter and back and forth. The store was such a mess and disorganized and you literally couldn't even walk through there, so I said screw it and left. I was disappointed because that's the only thing I really wanted, but it just wasn't worth it to me.

Left and got coffee and got in line at Target at 5:15. When the doors opened, I picked up a sewing machine for $65, a warm fuzzy blanket for $25, a few dvd's, a flying helicopter for $15 and a digital picture frame for $59.

Went home and picked up my husband and we went to the mall. Dillards had certain Ed Hardy shirts on sale for $39 so he picked up a couple of those. Went to Bath and Body works and got 6 wallflower refills for $20 ($5 a piece with a $10 off $30 purchase coupon) and sadly that's all we got at the mall.

We then swung by best buy and picked up a cd and some $4.00 dvds. And then stopped by Wal-Mart and picked up some $2.00 dvds and some $4.00 fuzzy generic croc type shoes with Hulk and Iron Man on them.

And that's all. Nothing impressive at all, but at least I was pretty much done Christmas shopping thanks to great deals previously listed on here.

I wasn't planning on getting anything. Ordered some 1 hour prints from Wal Mart and stopped by to pick them up. This was about 3pm so I thought everything good was gone already. Swung by electronics and saw a buggy in the idle with a bunch of junk piled on top one of the $128 Magnavox Blu-Ray players. I waited a few minutes to see if it was anyone's buggy. No one every looked at it or touched it for about 5 minutes of browsing around the area... so I snatched the Blu Ray player from the buggy and went on my way.

Just out of curiosity how much did you get for you tickets???

Net total of the tickets the three of us collected was $380. We were getting $50-75 on most of the laptops, $50 on the desktop bundle, etc. Towards the end we had to drop prices on our extra tickets to get people to buy, but we sold most of our crap. The xbox 360, digital cameras, most of the TVs, and the $900 laptop didn't sell (BB couldn't give away all of their $900 laptops, even). I didn't grab any GPS tickets, (actually, was never offered any, I don't know if they were ticketing them) which is a shame because a lot of people were asking us how much for a GPS ticket, and we didn't have any to get rid of.

On Thurs morning I was in line early at Kmart to get the 179 Sony BR player for my parents, but sold out while I was in line.
Came back home, saw Sony was having deal on the same player, it was sold out but I backordered it. Hopefully it will come in time for my trip there next week (not counting on it).

At midnight after 1 hr of trying got the 3 4gb Sandisk CF cards for the wifes digital SLR. I also bought the Seinfeld final season from BB on sale and Transformers on BluRay for $9.99. Pretty sweet deal there.

Woke up this morning, tried to get the PS3 dualshock from Radio Shack and it was sold out. Drove to OfficeMax hoping to score the 16gb Sandisk USB drive and it was sold out (I did get the 8gb one though).

Drove immediately to Frys, they had the Sony BR player for $179 but guess what, sold out. I did score the last of the Mummy and Mummy Returns BRs for $8.99.

Get home check and see Dell is doing the same Sony BR player for $179 or even less after employeer discount....guess what....sold out.

So, some hits, and some misses for me.

Toshiba dual core laptop: $380
HP quad core desktop: $600
Laptop case and mouse: $28
Transformers blu-ray: $10

Magellan GPS: $100
2x 100 pack of blank DVDs: $10 each
3x 2gb flash drives: $1 each
Logitech laptop speakers: $20

Staples
Microsoft wireless notebook mouse: $13

Newegg
4gb microSD card: $6

Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with this year's Black Friday. I'm using the $380 toshiba laptop right now, and it was definitely worth the money. However, I ended up returning quite a few items soon after I got home. I returned the quad core desktop because it wasn't as fast as I thought. However, I'm keeping the HP monitor since it looks amazing and only costed $172 in the bundle (not exactly a slickdeal on a 22", but really good for one of the best monitors on the market). I'm gonna sell the printer since it was only $5, and I can easily getta quick profit from it. The laptop case didn't fit the Toshiba, so I had to return that, too. I also returned the Magellan GPS because it was not very user-friendly, and didn't have the features I want. The other stuff is all good. :D

Thursday:
K-Mart - (biggest disappointment) went for the $20 Uniden cordless phone, sold out. Really needed one, since my current phone has a dead battery.
CVS - Got most of the free after ECB items + used coupons to make $5 profit.
Gander Mountain - Heritage single action .22 revolver - $150 + $40 Gander cash for future purchase, should have only gotten $20 card but the guy gave me an extra $20 Gander cash card because of the wait. Place was packed, they sold LOTS of guns, took about 2 hours just to get checked out. Wanted to buy a shotgun too, but they didn't have the one I wanted.

Friday:
Lowes - (2) $100 GC, will get $40 GC via mail-in & $29 shop vac. Got there at 6am because I figured they only had a few vacs to sell, but they had plenty. There were about 50 on the floor, almost everyone in the store had one in their cart, and I heard one of the employees say there was another pallet load in the back.
The shop vac was the only reason I went out Friday, but since I was up, I decided to check a few other stores.
Wal-Mart - several $2 DVDs & a $9 Sandisk 4GB flash drive.
Circuit City - (1) $3 DVD & (1) $3 CD (Rick James, b***h :lmao: )
Dick's Sporting Goods - (only crowded store I went in) bought a Marlin 30/30 rifle for $300 (regular: $400) - $10 reward - $10 GC (from Remington rebate) = $280 out the door. Plus I'll get $20 back in reward cerificates because of double points on Friday. Also, 3 people came up while I was filling out the paper work wanting to get the same rifle. But I got the last one, priceless  Dick's didn't have the shotgun either.

Was the 2nd customer @ BBW, took my time, ended up with 5 $5 wallflowers, 6 $5 aloe socks (so comfy!), $3 lambie & the VIP bag (which I will trade scents) then used my $10 off $30 coupon, only spent $62.xx incl. Tax.

Went to VS: got 4 perfume/colonge gift sets for 30% off + extra 20% off (employee discount!) and the BF tote for barely $60.xx.

Went to downtown & Old Navy was PACKED! Didn't find anything. Stopped by another BBW to get 2 more wallflowers in another scent. used my "spend $10 get a free item up to $13" coupon, on a shower gel & got the body lotion free =]

BBW made me a happy camper, I recommend the aloe socks for everyone!

Customers @ my store (vs) ended up spending on our B7G1F ($35), many don't believe me when I mentioned it's still $5 after the free lotion. If customers spent over $120+ I gave them 2 totes =] I'm such a good cashier.

I hate to say it but I have hit a brick wall-- Sooner or later you dont need anymore "things" A good example of when this would happen would be when you have 7 rooms in your house and own 7 tv's with 7 surround sound systems and seven combinations of laptops/desktops....Not to mention closets of unopened SD's and enough empty retail boxes in your attic and basement to move John N Kate plus 8 twice...
That being said:

I was at Walmart at 4:30 or so am. While walking through the electronics dept to get to toys, heard someone say they'd been hanging out since 9pm for the TV. It turns out that there were only 4 TVs and a fist fight so the cops got called!

I bought:
Pixos $10
Diamond Castle Muse $5
Jeans $8
Shoes $4
Vacuum $9
Graco Doll Set $20
Nothing spectacular

Went to Meijer, found nothing. Went to Parisian, bought a sweater normally $44 for $12. Next to Kmart and bought a t-shirt for $3 that says "Little Miss Trouble" for my 4 yr old. Nothing exciting but it was fun. Later, I went to family Christian and got Princess Bibles for my girls for $12.50 and a shirt for my son for $9.74. After waiting in line for 20 min at Best Buy, got a Bluetooth earpiece thing for $20.

Nothing exciting but a fun day.
