Ive found that even with meguires if you use it alot like i did on jeeps it seems to look really good at first then clear kinda dulls. I prefer the new car look so is there a product that doesnt polish but just makes the clear look nice? Ive heard of jeffvertstatt or something like that. Ive tried everything i mean everthying over the years on differnet jeeps and toyota trucks. Easiest to get right now meguires nxt which is perfect for new cars.

Sounds like you need to get the old product off before putting new stuff on. Use a dishwashing soap (that cut's the grease!) and it will remove the old product from your paint without damaging your paint. Then it should be ready to apply new polish. If it isn't clear after the dishwashing soap, try a clay bar to remove the excess residue on your paint. Then polish and wax after that.
