Hi guys,
I'm looking for a good web hosting site. I need it to be reliable and as cheap as possible. I'm using it to set up a forum for about 20-25 people.
Thanks for any help!

I've been using them for about a year and I haven't had any problems. Why is SD blocking this URL? And the Name?!?!? Weird censorship.

For a low volume site like you are describing the best value is www.NearlyFreeSpeech.net (http://www.nearlyfreespeech.net/). They charge only for what you use rather than a flat rate. They also have excellent policies (privacy and use) compared to many other hosting companies.
I signed up in late March with $20 and my account just dipped below $5 at the end of last month. So do the math and that's less than $2.50 a month. This is for a phpBB 2 forum with around 80 users (max. 20 on at once) and 200 posts in 60 threads.
The only down side is that they don't do email hosting, but you can get super-cheap email-only hosting from 1&1 if you need that.

I use UltraWebsiteHosting.com
Its great so far, 500 GB space, only 10 bucks a month....Also, the first month is free with no commitments, they have code on the sites page.
Plus unlimited email, subdomains, and much more!

Well, I used to use godaddy, but after discovering these guys, I had to switch.
I felt morally obligated to use Sunay's Energy (http://sundaysenergy.org/). They're a local (to me), employee-owned company that focuses on being a "green" business. Biodiesel + lowcost community workshops + planting trees. Their webhosting is all are offset completely with wind and solar power credits & they provide the option for customers to purchase onsite solar power.
Prices are so-so, starting at $4.34 for the very basic package.
Never met the guys before, but they sound like they're running a clean-honest business and benefiting the community.

Yes, that is true! One of my friends got the unlimited hosting recently.

sky50y - 50$ off for any yearly plan!
I am planning to switch to DreamHost too!

Another vote for DreamHost! In addition to the unlimited storage and bandwidth, they also offer a ton of features perfect for hosting a forum. ;)
