Hi slickdeals people!
I was wondering if anyone knew about any good deals on contact lenses?
I'm going to get my eye exam and some new lenses from my eye doctor through my insurance plan for free.
They don't cover contact lenses so I was wondering if I had my numbers and everything, is there a good place to order them online? Or even if there was a good instore special somewhere?
Thanks and happy holidays!

IDK if you're a member, but Costco is cheapest for us.

If you search on google products for the specific brand you wear, there are a ton of deals that are WAY under what you'd pay anywhere locally. Make sure you ask for a copy of your prescription because by law in the US you'll need to fax it in before they can send you the contacts.

Visiondirect.com is where I buy them... they always seem to be the cheapest, especially if you are buying in larger quantities ... They also have a 15% coupon for new customers, and there is cashback for them through some websites.

I just bought some Ciba/Focus Night&Day from Visiondirect.com
They're $42/box if you buy 4 (1 year supply). Not being a new customer, the "VISION15" 15% off coupon would not work, however, they sent me one in my email which is essentially the same and can be used as a return customer, which was "SEEAGAIN15". I think they keep track of who they sent it to, so it may not work for those who did not receive the email.
Then, Live.com has 10% rebate for Visiondirect, so after coupon code and Live rebate, I should get 4 boxes for about $145 shipped... pretty good!
Also, if you've had a recent (past 90 days) or will have an eye exam soon, you can probably get the $20 rebate on 4 boxes as well. Just make sure you tell them that you want contacts and what brand you want to get so that they can "prescribe" them, then you send a copy of the prescription to Visiondirect and along with your rebate.'
EDIT: Looks like Live.com is giving me cashback on the PRE-discounted price (before 4 box price and 15% coupon), so I'm getting about $19 back on a $160 order :)

Thanks for the info. I just ordered some o2 optix through visiondirect using live.com for cashback. With the rebates and insurance reimbursement, I should pay almost nothing. :vomit:

Our Sears in Key West will price match 1-800-contacts, so just print out from their page the cost and Sears may do it for you too.
Cheers! Alan Chiras.
