Where can I get good, cheap, 1GB DDR PC3200, CL=3, Unbuffered, NON-ECC, DDR400, 2.6V
Crucial says I can put 3 in. I now only have 512MB
The best I've found so far is $32/GB. delivered. $96 total.

I just started to search for some additional RAM for my ancient system. I purchased 1gb awhile back for $99 and the same ram is available now for $15 after MIR

I wouldn't recommend high density memory unless you know that your MOBO will take it. It's best just to stick to low density. Anyway the cheapest I've seen for what the op is looking for is at newegg you can get 2gigabytes for about $25 after rebate and shipping adds about $3.

So how do you know if it's low density when you're shopping for memory?

look at frys.com if u can wait, there will be some deals for 2GB for $15-$20 AR. I think 1GB of DDR is $15 AR. I bought some about a month ago, and now a friend want to buy it from me.
here is the link $15 AR on 10-31-08. u would think there would be better deals after the holidays n all.
