Need to get these by Christmas. Laptops won't be used outside of the house and will be mainly used for internet, picture editing (for the 12 year old, and I know that calls for better specs but price is the most important), and light gaming for the 10 year old.
Since I'll be buying 2 every $ increase gets doubled and I'd really like to be able to get out the door for both with less than a grand...6 or 700 would be better.
A mini system won't cut it and am looking ideally for at least a 15" plus screen.
