I almost did this last year, but didn't have the $ saved up for it. I decided I would only buy something like this if I actually had the money saved up. Now I have it, but can't seem to find any good deals on a projector.
Anyone know of any good DLP projector deals - xga or better?
Thanks!

What kind of projector? DLPs are becoming harder and harder to find, especially the newer 1080p ones. I like the dlp image a lot, but finally had to switch to lcd.

I am not sure exactly what quality/price range you are talking about here.... I was looking for one myself.. Want to get into my first "Home Theater" my problem is my ceilings very low and room kinda small so not sure if I am going to "love" it or not so I Did not want to go expensive... so I set myself a $700 limit on the projector.. so I was looking at 720p
I compared a lot... decided I Wanted a DLP (which really limited my choices) and ended up with a SHarp DT-510 from overstock.com
it was exactly 700 with 50/cashback from paypal (so 650). Its probably not the best I could've gotten but for the price it was.
