I'm looking for the best deal I can get on the following specs. I'm usually a pretty good deal shopper, but I can't seem to pull the trigger. I am fully aware of the pros and cons of resolution vs screen size, plasma vs LCD, that the price will be supposedly dropping after January, and all the arguments one usually picks for one over the other. I'm only looking for the BEST PRICE INCLUDING SHIPPING on a set that's within my specs. Here's my requirements.

NEW NOT REFURB
1080p
42"
Plasma or LCD

I'd like the price to include any shipping, and delivery is OK up to December 26th. Actually delivery ON the 26th would be best, but I can work with anything if the deal is good enough.

I'm know how to use MS cashback as well, and do not mind waiting for rebates.

Best deal I can find including white glove shipping right now is $749.99 at Amazon for a Samsung PN42A450 (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0015AR7AK/ref=ord_cart_shr?_encoding=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&v=glance).

I certainly do not fancy myself the best shopper on SD. Can anyone beat that price/deal?

Edit: proof that I'm not the best shopper comes in the fact that my link above is actually a 720p Plasma. Kudos to me! :D

Any really, once the TV gets home flaws apparent in the stores go away.

For Costco, I have to tack $50 (membership) + tax on (6% in CT)

I thought about this (not THIS one, but one that's available throughtarget online so I can use 20% CB), but I haven't see proof that people have gotten cashback from target.com yet. I've been watching the target cashback thread, too.... have you heard/seen proof?

don't get the Dynex from BestBuy, crappy tv. walmart also had a crappy sanyo recently. stick with samsung, sharp or lg. avoid 720p sets unless it 37" or smaller. there were some good deals on BF for lcd's in the 800 price range.
