I am looking for a samsung 40 inch LCD, A550 or above preferably under $990. Can any of you guys/gals help me find an ongoing good deal anywhere .

Frys B and M has the LN40A550 for 899 right now but it is in store only. If you have a frys close check them out otherwise yet to get CC or BB to price match. The deal is good through 12-9 but remember it is in store only. Search online for ad in your local paper if you have frys or search online for frys weekly ads. I bought this TV from Frys.com on Black Friday for $899.00 and it is one awesome set!

You can also wait till after Xmas when there may be some sets on sale or call a local appliance store and have them compete against the big boys.

I picked up the LN40A550 from Amazon yesterday. It was in my gold box so I got it for $968 with no tax and free shipping. Fry's had been a little cheaper but the sales tax killed it for me in TX. Not a screaming deal IMO but pretty decent nonetheless.
