View Full Version : Best Buy can't deliver on BF purchases
Thought I bought a nice 40" Samsung tv on BF for $799. Order went through on their website. Received an order confrmation and selected my deliver date. My credit card was charged for the purchase price also. Then on deliver date no TV. Called and they said 3x that the TV would be delivered that day. After waiting ALL DAY spoke to the Chicago warehouse shipping dept and was told that my order was cancelled--they over sold. Then had to argue to get a refund. Kind of a bummer that they can't deliver on a confirmed order.

I think the samething happened to one of the Razrs I ordered. On the site it says shipped but the tracking website does not have a clue on the location of the item.

If it was an instore only doorbuster deal then they canceled them. They said it was a bug in their systems that allowed "for a brief time" some orders to be placed on items that were instore doorbusters only. Although they should have called/emailed you if they canceled it (and definately shouldn't have promised delivery when you called the warehouse if this was the case)
On another note sometimes they get "special" stock (unique sku, specially made for black friday selling) in limited quantities for doorbusters (they often do this on computers) so that if they sell out its kinda impossible to get any more.
