Hey Guys,
I was wondering what is a good place to get an auto loan. I think I know which can I want to buy and I think I can qualify for a good finance rate (my credit is very good).
Thanks in advance

Local credit unions will have the best new or used rate. Their parameters will be a little more strict on used, but yo don't want one with 100K miles on it anyway. Even if you need to spend $25 to join or make a deposit to join, it will be well worth it in the long run.

Don't automatically go for the credit union though. My husband sells cars and when I was buying mine the credit union gave us such a hard time. My credit score is 728 and they wanted a co-signer for a 16k car (which BTW since I bought from my husband was 3k less than book value) Anyway I went to our local bank got approved in 5 minutes and the rate was only .25% higher. Not worth jumping through hoops if ya ask me!

Penfed rates are dropping to 3.99% on 2/1 for car loan applications made online! Anyone can join (just join the National Military Family Association (NMFA) if you don't qualify on the other levels - it's $20 a year and you only need to do it once).
