I don't know what kind of attention this thread produces, but I'm pretty desperate for a good deal on a laser printer... so i'm giving this a shot.

Any kind of help would be appreciated, anything i find worthwhile on here is always sold out! and i check this site daily!!

Just print out this coupon (http://www.staplesadvantage.com/global_content/pdfs/appreciation/2008_winter_customer_appreciation.pdf), go to a Staples store, pay $90+local tax, and get a $70 visa card back. Really not too bad.

I have bought these for a couple friends. If I didn't have a laser I would get one for myself. I like these little printer for occasional personal use--they'll give you about 1000 pages on the first cartridge and at an average of 2 pages per day that will last a couple years. There's a local computer place that sells refilled (they claim they replace the drum, so maybe refurbished) toner cartridges for $50.

The instant rebate isn't available at the store nearest to me... still $40 isn't bad for this printer, either... it's bound to go lower, though. Just a matter of how badly you need it and how long you're willing to wait.

Even if it isn't available at your store you might be able to convince a store manager to give it to you.
