for those who slickdealed the lexmark X3430 printer...

hi everyone. i bought the lexmark X3430 printer for about $30 shipped when it was a hot deal from walmart. i remember a lot of people trying to get in on this deal. this printer has served me on me well on my class term papers, but it is now the dreaded time to replace its ink cartridge.

however, the lowest lexmark ink cartridge #24 i could find costs over $20! thats almost the price i paid for the printer itself. since i know a lot of other slickdeal users have bought this printer, i was wondering if anyone could share where (or if) they replaced their ink cartridge.

in other words, where can i get the cheapest ink cartridge for this printer? lowest i could find was $20 on amazon. even ebay is higher!

Hvae you thought about refilling your own? I have successfully refilled Lexmark, Epson and HP cartridges. Lexmark cartridges prices are notoriously high and I won't pay $25-30
for a cartridge. There have been some posts on this site relative to good supplies of ink. I use distribution-online at ebay for my ink. If you refill yourself you save big bucks.
