When 'search' is selected on a user id, you get the posts for that person listed individually.
When I use the toolbar search, the results display the threads the 'search word' is in.
If the thread is huge you must veiw every page to find the post that contains the 'search word'.
Can you change the toolbar search to display the search results more like the user id search.
This would be easier to find what you are looking for.

In the search page where you enter the keywords, select the "Show results as posts" option. It's near the bottom.
