I was in the same situation with you earlier this week, was looking around locally and all over the web for a nice quality king size bed for a nice price, but nothing was looking real sweet to me*, till I checked out craigslist Tuesday as a last resort, and right now I'm laying on an extremely comfortable Vera Wang Latex Mattress that's retailing for about 2 Thou (http://www.mysertamattress.com/AKA-Simplicity-Nature-p/svw800262k.htm) but got for $800 w/ box spring!

*Although I did see some great prices on Overstock.com for Innerspring, Memory Foam, and Latex Mattresses, most of these are non returnable, which to me is a huge deal breaker when it comes to purchasing mattresses online. If the mattress ends up not being to your liking, your stuck.
