I post the direct link because a significant number of users still prefer to do it that way and the reports as to whether or not they give you the mag when you skip the survey are about half in favor and half against. I post the direct link plus the warning to cover all bases and to provide the information to those who want it.

However, I prefer to to the 2 minute survey myself and simply not risk getting shut out of the free subscription! I encourage others to do the same for the maximum chance of getting the free mag.
