UPDATE: I snagged it with a 15% off coupon for $645 before tax (free 3-5 day shipping), thanks!

Hello everyone! I am looking to buy an XPS 1330 in the $700-800 range, and have this one sitting in my cart. It seems pretty good, but if there are going to be any 15% coupons soon then maybe I should wait! What do you think of this refurb?

deal is good, but XPS 1330 seem to have known problem of heating with NVIDIA graphics card, read reviews on notebook reviews, I was almost going to buy this on but I decided otherwise

What did you decide on buying? I recently purchased a Lenovo U330 and I had hardware problems and returned it.

I am thinking the Dell has to have all it's issues resolved by now.

I bought the exact one above, but with a 15% off coupon to make it $645, which I think is a pretty good deal. Hopefully you are right about the issues being resolved; I have a year at least under the warranty :)

Hey - I think this is a great deal!

If you don't mind sharing where exactly you managed to find such a low price on this machine, I would love to know! I would like to buy one for myself as well - the recent reviews have been mostly positive and very satisfactory - but the cheapest I have found the XPS with similar spec's go for is $950 at BestBuy right now. Compared with that, $645 seems like a steal to me!

Where did you find it for $759 in the first place? And where did you find and how did you apply that coupon?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Yeah, you have seen all the problems, and it was indeed a three-part trick: finding the machine, finding a coupon, and getting it to stack with the mandatory free shipping promotion. I don't mind sharing at all and will post the deal late tonight, as you need Dell Outlet phone lines to be open as it requires a phone order, and they aren't open until 7am CST Monday. I'll reply here with a link when I do!
