I need a regular DVD player. My husband says I need to get one that upgrades to 1080p or something like that. I don't know all the techno lingo. I just know I need a good deal on one. Anyone know of any deals going on?

Do you have a high definition TV?
if so, what is the maximum resolution it on?
if you have a hi-def tv you may want to consider a blue ray hi-def dvd player.
I'm looking for a dvd player for a LOW def tv at the moment.

We have our old stone age tv here. Hi Def will happen some day. So yes,we have a low def tv as well.

an upconverting player does nothing for a Low def TV..
plan your blue ray dvd player purchase later on when price drops...along with hi def TV

Yeah, we are aware of that. We just want the nicer one for when we upgrade our TV :) I'm not jumping on the Blue Ray DVD bandwagon yet. The Blue Ray DVDs are still way to pricey.
So does anyone know of any deals? Still looking.
