Now I know you got some shady thing going on. lol Emergency phones can often be had for free and no one is going to pay $50-100 for a phone with no service. Also, a PDA is not going to withstand you dropping it repeatedly.

If you do not have a phone, how to make emergency call? I live suburban, few people can offer you a phone to call.
Additionally, a phone at least can withstand some dropping. I had a V3 before; I just drop it on the floor one time accidentally and the phone works abnormal.
