Help me find a video card and power supply for my Ubuntu media PC.

Hi, I just built a new mythbuntu PC. The integrated graphics card on the motherboard is not capable of handling the graphics. So I'm looking for an nVidia card since they have the best supported drivers for linux. My old power supply makes too much noise and it's really annoying since the pc is on almost 24/7.

Can you guys help me out with finding an nVidia card and an average to good power supply (a silent one).??? I'm kind of on a budget so no $300 card or $200 power supply.

I have an earthwatts 500w, I got lucky and got it for $50 at frys, but for media I think the 430w would do you good as well. The reason I got it was I was pulled in my the 80% more power efficient thing and I don't know if it was worth it just for that, but it proves to be a great power supply because whatever I put it in its always quiet. Do you want low profile card ?

I don't really need a low profile card, I have a geforce 8800 gt on another computer and it fits in the case of my media pc. i've been reading about the evga 9500gt and there seems to be problems to get it running:
