Anyone know of any good deals on the Ipod Touch (probably the 16 but may go with 8 gig) - gift for my daughter's birthday and of course now I hear about it and have missed some good deals already! Thanks!!

picked up the 16gb 2g fon Amazon for $280. Well worth the money if you want one. No regrets as of yet. Owned for about a week. My first Apple product.

Thanks.... have a friend that works for Target and can get 10% off, but that's it so far.... better than nothing!! I'll keep my eyes open. Think I missed all the "big" sales! Will check the board for possible postings for this coming week.

correction.....deals dead. I guess it ended yesterday but you might want to keep checking because it was online and if you were lucky you could find it in store. I'm bummed too because I was about to buy one :(

Thanks anyway for checking! I did get it through my Target friend, so $270 plus tax. Not bad, not great. Gift for mid/end of January, so I can still look and see what floats out there until then.

same here the best I had seen was from Bestbuy for 8GB Ipod touch for $229 with $50 giftcard. I'm also looking out for one...

I have a 1st gen 8gig touch that I'm gonna be putting on ebay here soon.

Got the iphone so I don't really need the touch anymore.

Gonna include a silicone case and it has a BSE (exact same thing as invisible shield or whatever) on the front and back.

Bought it back in june but it is still in excellent condition. I rarely used it and haven't even really touched it since November when I bought my phone.

Earbuds are not used at all as I cannot stand the apple stock headphones.


Pretty sure I have the 2.0 firmware on it. I'd have to check.

If anyone is all that interested, pm me and I'll set up a private auction or something.
