I keep getting kicked off

Everytime today I change forums, I need to log back in. Yes, I checked marked the "Remember me button". Suggestions?

we need more info...what OS are you running? what browser are you using? IF you are using FF can you switch and try using IE to see if it works? Or vice versa.

Delete your cookies and make sure you're using the url http://forums.slickdeals.net

I tried deleting cookies, files, and history. I even rebooted. Any other suggestions?

do you have anything like windows washer or similar programs that always clean your system upon reboot?

and also try to default all internet explorer options, delete all cache and offline files and cookies, reboot and see if it would stop signing you off.

You could also try temporarily disabling any other internet security features you have--you mentioned a firewall, and I'm not saying go without that but firewalls can cause erratic behavior like that. So can Norton Internet Security. So can privacy software. Go through one by one and disable them and eliminate the possibilites of what it could be.

Also, I see you have been a member just a short time. Has this happened before? Reversely, have you been able to explore the forums previously without this occurring? -- Brian in Louisville

Thats what I did. I messed and messed with the firewall and something finally worked. Thanks. :)
