40" lcd samsung or sony

would like to find lcd to put in my bedroom so does not have to be top of line. But would like it to be a decent television i could watch sports on it i wanted to ( or was forced to). Looking to spend around $800 if possible.

Look at that Toshiba 40" I have seen that price go down to $799.99 before at Sears. (I work at Sears)

I have read that this model was not one to buy? I would of bought it a while ago if i did not hear that.?

If you want to wait (another month or so) the samsung models are going to be going on close out because the 2009 models are coming out. The Sonys models don't come out until April/May range.
