Yet another tv post...

I am in the market for a 40-42 inch lcd tv, 1080p.

I have pretty much narrowed it down to sony or samsung and my budget is around $1,000.

I am going to use my tv for sports, ps3 and blue ray movies.

My folks have a 61inch dlp samsung 1080p, which is awesome! But i have heard great things about sony.

Anyone have any suggestions? deals?

Check Costco.com. They have a 42" Phillips 1080p 120hz with Blu-Ray Player for $999 after a $500 coupon. Try and get it at one of the local stores to avoid the $70 shipping.
